I feel like im the only one who watched Duncan and Mimei before Dan and Phil. Started with Rachel and Jun went to Sharla then Mimei and Duncan, Texan in Tokyo THEN Dan and Phil

I did too! I was so excited about D&P going to Japan because I wanted them to meet up with that crew and it was a strong possibility because Duncan had been in some of Phil's videos.

I'm subbed to Rachel and Jun's main channel though to be honest i don't watch all their videos, sometimes they (well Rachel) seems kind of judgey and gives me a weird vibe, but they do have some of the coolest travel videos. I also LOVE Jun's cooking channel, it's so calming and informative.

Some of the channels I'm subbed to and consistently watch are: Fleurdeforce's main and vlogging channels, Tati (Glamlifeguru), sci show, sci show space, the brain scoop, crash course, film theorists, Lex, Rosianna, Marzia, PJ, Nanalew, Cherry, BananaJamana, Tomskas second channel, Simon and Martina (..i know...), and all of Duncan and Mimei's channels basically.

Does anyone have any more cool science-based channels? I love those for when I'm working, i listen to the videos while I do repetitive work/boring coding haha

I love Drew. He weirds me out in a good way, and never fails to make me laugh.
I've been a fan of Shane's for a while now too, I've sort of grown up with him, and I feel attached to him as a person, but his videos have been plummeting in terms of quality lately. But I still love his podcasts and his snapchat stories, so I think I'll remain subscribed for the time being.

I feel like Shane has always had some sort of controversy surrounding him, was born out of controversy, etc. But recently, he seems tired of it all and trying to steer clear of it by doing really boring, non-creative videos. TA the same maybe manufacturing a few controversial comments here and there cause it's his job. He does seem a lot more likable in his podcasts, very honest in a way that isn't as gross as some of his 'honest' comments in videos.

Yeah, I appreciate that he's still making content other than sponsored ads (*cough cough* TYLER OAKLEY *cough*) but the food videos are getting a bit repetitive... I like the conspiracy theory ones though, and the occasional collabs.

the only person i keep hate watching is zoella. i find her fascinating (dunno if that's a good word?), on the one hand i feel bad for her because she does seem very depressed, anxious and lonely, but on the other hand she is so incredibly lazy, does nothing to improve her dull life and sets a bad example to young people.

& Passive aggressiveness towards her own/zalfie fandom - all the while waving the "such a great role model" banner for all it's worth.
Yeah, safe to say she's not one of my faves...!

I have this weird love/hate relationship with both Emma and Evan. One one hand, I do find their content entertaining and consistent (say what you want, but they upload more frequently than Dan and Phil have done in years,) and find certain aspects of their personalities endearing. On the other hand, I find a lot of their behavior childish and annoying. I still cannot fathom how they both think are entitled to Dan and Phil's friendship after harassing Dan on Twitter for years.
Also, this is not really for me to judge but I can't stand Luke and don't think he's a particularly good influence on Emma.

The only other YouTubers that I watch consistently are the vlogbrothers, PJ, Lex, Tomska, and sometimes Marzia and Felix's vlogs because they are a cute af couple, even though I don't care for Felix's main channel.

I strongly disliked hated Emma basically from the first sight for no particular reason, and i usually either like people or simply don't care about them, at least until i learn something bad about them. My attempts to justify such irrational negativity towards a stranger brought me in phandirectory where i learned how her gang treated Danisnotonfire and Amazingphil whom i just stumbled upon (and liked very much) the other day. Then out of curiosity i decided to explore this phandirectory a little and inevitably got sucked deep into the phandom. Thx Emma, i guess

On the more positive note, here are few channels that i enjoy:
- Just Between Us is probably my favourite youtube duo at the moment, sorry Dan and Phil. Well, deppy can be my favourite youtube couple
- communitychannel - i believe she highly influenced Dan's sketch comedy style
- TomSka and his vlog side channel, he raises some important and interesting topics there
- Just discovered and fell in love with Chels and Jim - somewhat Lo-Fi and very entertaining, and their separate channels are also gold - Ophelia Dagger and Jimmy0010

She was (still is?) in England this month and a lot of people tweeted her to do a collab with Dan and she actually tweeted him, saying it was a good idea, they should do that. And this tool didn't answer!!!! (or at least he didn't answer publicly. I really hope he at least answered privately, even if it was no). Seriously man, he is doing collabs with Connor and Caspar and all those terrible youtubers but he can't even answer to Nat who is supposedly his idole

To be fair, I don't think their personalities really go that well together, I feel like a collab just wouldn't be very good.

I'm not super into YouTube like a lot of you, (only subbed to 40 people apparently) but I'll join in sharing my subs.



Obviously, I'm following a bunch of D&P related channels, because I'm trying to stay posted, man. (dinofvyou1, phanshows, DanAndPhilSNIPPETS had some rare younow clips)

Other than that, I'm a big fan of Pewds and Cry. I first got into YouTube because of Pewds back in 2012, and then I found Cry through him. Both of them have such different gaming videos, even though they like pretty much the same games. I could gush about the two of them forever, really. A lot of the channels you see here revolve around those two as well. (Marzia ((not very interested in beauty but love her vlogs)), PewDiePie Streams, Late Night V2, DamnNoHTML, RussMoney, msfactualplays, Netty Scribble)

Some gaming related channels: PressHearttoContinue (Dodger, mostly plays dating sims and does some web talk shows, but she's incredible), ManlyBadassHero (mostly RPG Maker/indie games, very little commentary, which is nice every once in a while), TheSw1tcher (I mainly subscribed because of their Skullgirls videos, I won't lie), Vinesauce Joel ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRgl6K1Qecg , alright.), and GilvaSunner (needs to be heard to be explained, really https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8slIAxEnQ6A )

Anime related: I follow very little of these because a lot of them tend to be very pretentious. Gigguk is absolutely hilarious and GoatJesus does incredible Eva analysis videos.

Everything else is just music, games, or some misc vloggers introduced to me by D&P. I didn't expect to like PDR's videos so much, even though his persona is pretty negative. I also didn't really give a shit about the Fine Bros drama so I didn't unsubscribe. The only odd one out is Willam, I don't have an explanation as to why I'm subscribed.

I think I covered all my bases there. ;_;

as far as i remember most of them have the exact same microphone (a pretty good, midrange rode mic) but the problem is that they either honestly don't know how to use it properly or they like to act like they've never learned how to speak into a microphone because #relatable or something.

Also China uncensored is basically a propaganda channel, it's funded by an anti cpc group, and a lot of what that channel says is unreal or manipulative to the truth.

Peaceful cuisine is the best channel on youtube, period.

1. He lost weight/got older/got a few laser peels.

2. I find it to be like Chinese media, but having an opposite opinion. Comedic value and also some of the stuff mentioned is fairly true (don't know if 100% true because It is very difficult for me to trust any media).

My favorite youtuber right now is Presley from ActOutGames. She's ten, and her parents have a lot of oversight of her channel but it's not a family vlogging scenario. They sometimes vlog crafts shopping or convention trips but not the typical daily life, flaunt the kids for a camera setup. She's sharp, informed, has good camera presence, and when I watch her I just end up finding the prospect of seeing what she grows into as she matures really exciting. This video on fandom and inclusivity is the most recent thing she's done that just completely impressed me.

(I guess it's sort of relevant to D&P because he was Phil's first subscriber which I didn't actually know until now.) They're cute, but slightly boring. Meghan (strawburry17) was in his last vlog, and it seemed fine, but I always thought there was a bit of a falling out between the rest of them and her.

Ahhh this is great! it's like watching a tiny-again Tavi Gevinson (entrepeneur extraordinaire!).

I love John! Have you seen his gaming videos. They're so calming somehow (and he had been doing a Resident evil let's play haha) and it's great seeing his older videos and watching him grow more and more confident and likeable with each video.
