We're not allowing usernames that could be mistaken for Dan or Phil, or those close to them.

We're doing this mainly to prevent the possibility of people attempting to impersonate them, and also to prevent any confusion that arises from someone who posts, completely innocently, with a username like those.

I've just read my last post and realised that I'm not a biatch anymore (it's the name I brought over from the "other site" where tbf I was a biatch in the forum I was in)so I'd like to change it please, if Captain Spacecoat isn't taken I'd like that please, I used the search and couldn't see spacecoat anywhere so hopefully it's not but if it is could I have SakuraPhil instead pls (yes they're both quite crap names, thinking up user names isn't my strong point!)

Charlie, give it a rest. If you're so concerned about who's saying what about you and why then forget the username change and keep to a social circle you can agree with instead of writing missives about people allegedly judging you when you do a good enough job of doing the very same back as it is. There's a world of forums and groupchats out there where you can broaden your horizons beyond IDB if the members here bother you that much.
although the fact you keep returning to both the subject and the site says enough on its own.
