Who's Alyssa?

Alyssa Nicole Pallett (born 1985) is a former youtuber [YouTube] [Wikipedia] that Phil knows/knew, presumably through Youtube.

Phil and Alyssa can be seen together in the 2008 video "Youtuber Impressions (Part 1)" by Tom Burns. Phil went to visit her in New York in 2008 (he also visited other Youtube friends) and they filmed a video for her channel called "Amazing Zoo!" that has since been made private (I have never met anyone who remembers seeing the video).



In the 2010 video "Meet Amazing Phil" at 0:41, you can see a note stuck to Phil’s wardrobe that says “Love from NY, Alyssa < 3” (and then something else that cannot be read).



Now, all of this is pretty uninteresting and wouldn't have caught anyone's attention if it wasn't for this little clip:

Phil: "I went there with Alyssa."
Dan: "Who's Alyssa?"
Phil: "The girl... I..."
Dan: "Ooh.. yes."
*quickly starts talking about something else*

Some have speculated Alyssa's an ex or former fling of Phil's. Others point out that the reason D&P might hesitate to explain who she is in a liveshow could be as simple as she's done work as a nude model and they didn't want their younger fans to look her up (if you google her you'll end up with nudes).
