Because in recent history what we've had is Phil making innuendo while looking at Dan or talking directly to Dan, and Dan ignoring the innuendo. To me this says that Dan usually just isn't prepared or doesn't know quite how to meet Phil's boldness head on. But here! He fucking! Does! There's a span of about 2-3 seconds of silence and he gives the explosive oral line. Phil immediately says "Stop." while still grinning.

I think he saw the cat with the moustache picture and his mind went to furry RIGHT away, and was doing that repressed smile at Phil being a furry. Genuine Phil smiling too, not covered with his hand.

What a statement that is? Dan says "FURRY" and then won't make eye contact with the camera.
