didn't she said "you're seeing" instead of "you've seen" though? that was quite interestingautumnhearth wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 10:57 pm 8:57 “How big are the the vaginas you’ve seen in your life?”- Louise asks Phil, who clearly thinks lady’s can just have double doors, maybe French ladies do. That was a really nice video!
I know I expected this to not be so great, but it's been a while since Louise has done anything that I particularly disliked, and overall it was pretty good.
No weird forcing of anyone to touch her belly and especially no "when your future wives have babies..." talk.
All in all, liked it.

Okay but why do we never talk about this
This was tweeted before Hello Internet was uploaded, so what is he talking about? I feel like I've said something here about this before.

There's one video we know he uploaded to myspace in late 2006; there's also this channel, from the summer of 2006 and that predates the danisnotonfire account by a few months¯\_(ツ)_/¯onetruetrash wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 11:46 pm Okay but why do we never talk about this

We (or at least I) don't know about the youtube account but it fits timeline-wise; it would make sense for him to make a youtube account over the summer and then have forgotten about it by the time winter break rolled around and created another. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thats so weird, it looks really like my sitting room at my parents house, exact same fireplace and tv (from a few years back) and everything! although we never had red carpets
Dan also gave my hometown a shoutout in yesterdays livestream, which was a bit of a surprise

i quite liked that collab louise did! i found a lot of the comments funny and their knowledge impressive as i myself didn't even know a lot of the terms, oops. i'll probably give it a rewatch sometime whenever.

ack i've been away six hours and didn't get to see the video until now-- i really enjoyed it overall! i generally like louise, although she's been annoying me lately, so i was happy that i enjoyed her in the video- particularly her calling out dan for not wanting to say "vagina" and for staying clear of heteronormative comments. i actually like the collabs with the three of them even though phil is a total third wheel. i like his weird interjections and evidence of the weird way his brain works. i was shocked at how many of the terms i didn't know myself, and dan and phil did about as well as i expected.
just caught up with the latest content, loving dan a lot atm. I really enjoyed the latest liveshow and vid!
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's "surprise". I now understand Phil saying that he was being very creative at thw beginning of the year, I enjoyed the chair quiz in tabinof so I think the "surprise" will be v good.
Louise's vid was extremely meh, I zoned out through most of it. I'll try to give it a watch another day.

Ah, so she did. Forgive my mind for switching that to the past tense. Still hilarious.moaninglisa wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 11:27 pmdidn't she said "you're seeing" instead of "you've seen" though? that was quite interestingautumnhearth wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2017 10:57 pm 8:57 “How big are the the vaginas you’ve seen in your life?”- Louise asks Phil, who clearly thinks lady’s can just have double doors, maybe French ladies do. I enjoyed the collab. I do like Louise's vids even if she can be a bit much on twitter and such. I think the boys knew a good amount of stuff.
I did get dizzy/almost faint about 10 minutes into the video, though. Not because of the pregnancy talk, at least I don't think. I've been hot/sick all day and I think it just caught up to me. I was, however, thinking in depth (no pun intended) about the concept of a mucus plug when it happened so who knows maybe I am just that squeamish.
twix I never knew about that channel. Interesting! (even tho the video uploaded on it is very uninteresting lol)

I also heard "you've seen" but Dan is talking over them so it could be both. In my mind because she continues with "in your life" it makes me think that grammatically it's more correct that she used the past tense instead of present continuous, bc otherwise she wouldn't need to add that last part?autumnhearth wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 2:45 amAh, so she did. I'm giving too much thought on such a passing sentence
Will probably never be over the BONCAS and the beauty of Phil Lester.

I enjoyed that video - it wasn't amazing and I'm not sure I'll rewatch just yet, but it was entertaining enough and exceeded my expectations. Credit where it's due: Louise came across very likeable, I really appreciated her normalising the word 'vagina', and I also appreciated that she refrained from presenting pregnancy in an overly heteronormative manner.
I disagree that the video would have been better without Phil, as I actually felt that he seemed quite a bit calmer than Dan and was overall more composed (if that's possible? neither of them were particularly composed at all haha). I didn't think he came across as awkward or left out in the way that he did in Not Worth Watching, and he looked particularly lovely in that lighting. Agree though that the framing was off, it was very distracting.
you're seeing vs you've seen: I heard "you're seeing" personally, but I could be wrong. Not that it really matters either way, I don't think their implications are significantly different, and it was a vague enough statement that it's unclear whether she meant "in your personal life" (I guess implying that Phil dates people with vaginas? Maybe? I'm sure he has done in the past) or just in general. Regardless, I don't think it's that deep (ha).
also happy 19th of october :')

Well they don't have to be seeing them up close and personal. Porn exists. And if they're bi as speculated, vaginas would occasionally have a starring role I assume. So present tense would be appropriate ... unlike this particular postliola wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 6:28 amI also heard "you've seen" but Dan is talking over them so it could be both. omg of course, i can't believe i forgot about janice and sabrina smh. phil obviously knows a lot about pregnancy from his experience with baby lola, he was just playing it cool by holding back on all his knowledge so as not to raise suspicions. it all makes sense nowsomethingsketchy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 7:57 am Well, we don't exactly know how many secret wives Phil's hiding in his attic...

I missed this forum!
Really liked the Dan, Phil & Louise collab! Some seriously hilarious moments (and when Dan said "babe", I too, decided to replay about 3 times. Such a ~Dangirl, aha )
I have to say though, did anyone else notice, probably about halfway into the video until the end, Louise becoming very straight-faced and dismissive of Phil? A prime example is at 11:13 when Louise blatantly rejects Phil's offer of being a doula. She could have been just frustrated at his increasingly random answers, but it made me really uncomfortable, particularly the timestamp I just mentioned
Also, yeah, the off-centred camera was a total pain. Or maybe D+P are just massive guys? Who knows

This moment made Phil really attractive to me for - don't come for me I'm sorry! - literally the first time ever. I know he's making a joke but he comes across as so self-assured and arrogant/sarcastic which is exactly how I like my men.
Gonna go watch this gif on a loop for the rest of the working day now see you all later.
Ah I'm glad I'm not the only one who got the feeling she was getting a bit snarky with him.koalaselfie wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 9:57 am I missed this forum!

Probs anectodal (because I'm super guilty of doing this to my husband), but for me every collab they do with Louise just reads as "my boyfriend dragged me along to hang out with his friend and we don't get on as well as they do but I'm a good boyfriend, so here I am".
Obviously he and Louise seem to usually get along fine but they definitely don't have the chemistry Dan and Louise do. Louise seemed much more interested in what Dan had to say throughout this video. Who knows, maybe it's the pregnancy hormones she's been talking about.
Also, that angle was super fucking weird and distracting. Dan fell out of frame so many times I was like wait, where are you going!?! They are really, really trying to keep every angle as tight and close up as possible, aren't they?
