I really enjoyed Phil's new video. I think Phil is really good storyteller. He literally made a story about being late for a plane really tense. I think some of you are over thinking the whole phone not working business. He was probably just paraphrasing to make the story flow better without going into all the complicated details of how his phone was not working and then it was. It's not super relevant for the story.
Re: Tyler Oakley tumblr. Tyler doesn't seem like the type of person to reblog that kind of bait for Phan. But correct me if I'm wrong. It could have been an accident because as bluebox-away said it's easy to do on a mobile.

Oh my those Tyler tweets. I hope he doesn't become the Jim to 's zalfie that be the END of the hilarious collabs (honestly i rewatch Watching strange porn all the time).
They seem to be having a lot of fun tonight! I just wish Cat stopped snapchatting, she doesn't vlog when snapchatting and we need the annual #Content (and i'm guessing she does too because views = $$$$$). Last year's youtube event season was disappointing.

I don't think we can count on Cat that much this time... I checked her vlogging channel and it seems like she doesn't vlog that much these days. Her last vlog was from 4 months ago

The lack of outright dismissal is what intrigues me. He and Troye never dated; they've both said that, unambiguously. And considering he is half of that pairing he has the authority to restate it again. He could have just said he accidentally reblogged it and was sorry but that it was a joke. Instead he took the stance that he wouldn't have reblogged it because it's invasive, which really just implies... there's something there to be invasive about.
I wouldn't think as much about it except that Tyler and Dan do seem close, in youtube-community terms.

What's that quote? It's something like "It's not the crime that gets you, it's the cover up". Being so immediately weird and delete-happy (panicked?) rather than just going 'oops that was a mistake haha clumsy fingers' is more suspicious and draws more attention to the original error. I have not caught up yet so, sorry if this was already said.
Many of you might no know me but I Love Phil and Dan. We are all human and we will make mistakes but I feel in my heart they are kind and thoughtful people, and would never intentionally try to be hurtful or malicious. I love this community and I really enjoy watching these guys evolve as creators, entrepreneurs, friends, and whatever else that is behind the scenes. I know I'm very late to the party to talk about this butt there you go.
I really enjoyed Phils video there is something about just sitting on his bed (florida bed) an telling us a story. I especially love travel stories. At 4:15 when Phil says keep me company in America which would be nice. The part when he says "which would be nice" sounds so sincere and familiar. I dont mind the plug for Tatinof this is a big deal and it actually felt natural not like he was reading it off from a piece of paper. Also Phil looked so frickin handsome
I am sure that there is so much more to talk about but at least I got in here before another 30 pages goes by.

In defense of Tyler (wow I hate saying that), half of that post was about Troyler, a relationship (be it a completely platonic one) that is now strained as a result of invasive fans. The two of them avoid posting that they're together, because fans have made it awkward. So, I get the idea that he's speaking more from personal experience than in defense or reference of Phan, but he's being broad in order to include Phan in that sentiment.
I wonder why Cat decided not to vlog at these meet ups anymore? I can see how daily vlogging gets annoying but the 3-4 times a year that they have youtube events doesn't seem like too much work. Plus there's the fact that her highest viewed vids are always ones featuring D+P.

Tyler's "invasive" reply could be interpreted with anger about the whole thing - which would make it hard to just laugh off. Plus it's hard to think clearly about the best way to handle things when you're ticked off, causing fumbling and regrettable reactions.
I mean, I love a good moment but...
As for Cat - if she posted her first vlog in 4 months just to show D&P, she'd probably get a lot of backlash about milking them for the views.

All good points and perfectly valid. So why delete every mention of what happened? Why not explicitly state his POV as far as it's affected his life (leaving phan out of it) rather than speak in ambiguous terms and then delete almost immediately? Whatever his reasoning, for the king of social media, he did not handle this well.
