As for Cat - if she posted her first vlog in 4 months just to show D&P, she'd probably get a lot of backlash about milking them for the views.

Yeah I was thinking that may be why she doesn't do it anymore. Was their backlash last time she vlogged them after not using her vlogging channel in a long time? IIRC, she put a vlog with them on her main channel before as well (maybe both those instances were the same vlog, I can't remember lol).

As much as the phandom tends to dislike Cat, I don't ever recall seeing much people criticizing her for providing vlogs with D+P in them. That's the one time most people shut up/are thankful for her.

In defense of Tyler (wow I hate saying that), half of that post was about Troyler, a relationship (be it a completely platonic one) that is now strained as a result of invasive fans. The two of them avoid posting that they're together, because fans have made it awkward. So, I get the idea that he's speaking more from personal experience than in defense or reference of Phan, but he's being broad in order to include Phan in that sentiment.

Ehh, I guess it's possible Tyler was speaking more about Troyler than Phan but let's not forget him and Troye kissed on stage for fanservice without anyone holding a gun to their head. They encouraged it/dug their own grave as far as I'm concerned.

Right, but whether they brought it upon themselves or not -- it happened. You know? And they might regret it. But it doesn't negate the fact that he has negative feelings about invasive fans now. IDK. I'm #phanaf, but I think we're forgetting Tyler's perspective here.

All good points and perfectly valid. So why delete every mention of what happened? Why not explicitly state his POV as far as it's affected his life (leaving phan out of it) rather than speak in ambiguous terms and then delete almost immediately? Whatever his reasoning, for the king of social media, he did not handle this well.

Tyler always deletes his tweets when he argues/confronts fans. (According to my Tronnor-shipping friend, anyway.) On top of which, I think it's fairly safe to assume he could have realized the error of his ways and just chosen to delete it all and pretend it didn't happen. Frankly, like he should have done from the start.

True, I see what you mean. His wording still leads me to believe he was referring more to Phan than Troyler though. Whatever strain there may be between him and Troye, I think it has more to do with issues btwn them/relating to Connor than it has to do with intrusive fans. But that's just me and I don't follow Troye, Tyler or Connor so yeah

Tyler's response re:entitlement to know personal details putting a strain on friendships/relationships....that's an interesting choice of words/response to the person's comment about it being intrusive. Since Tyler/Troye has/have already said Troyler isn't real (and the fact that it's obvs it isn't real imo)....what is there to be intrusive about regarding their relationship (or sexuality for that matter when they're both very much out of the closet)? That's why I think he was more referring to Phan. But again, that's just my opinion.

Not necessarily, I get motion sickness as well and have travelled on a giant bus and was still miserable the majority of the time (even while popping gravol). He's in for not a great time.

Is that Dan's attempt of shielding his hair from the water? I'm beyond delighted by this photo, for many reasons.

Because I only post once about every 8 pages, let me jump back on a couple of the topics:

RE tour beds: I want them to share a bed just because I'm going to be very concerned for their backs otherwise. (But actually, unless there are multiple floor beds, I'm extremely concerned.)

RE Phil's vid: I can't tell if everyone is getting mad at him for not knowing how to proper fly to America on his own, or if we're all just confused and trying to understand his storytelling. JK though, it was a good laid back vid. The spon doesn't bother be because I just expect it at this point (I think I would be more surprised if they chose not to advertise it, honestly.) I agree with people that it is a tad bit reminiscent of old-school storytelling Phil.

Sidenote, I feel like I like him in the hat more than I should. Does anyone know if it's his hat, or his brother's? The thought of him asking Martyn for video-prop help is really amusing (and I also know Martyn wears those hats nearly all the time.)

I was thinking the same thing. No matter how we discuss how Tyler "outed" we will never believe it because we are trained so well. As a #phanaf, I am just waiting for the engagement or wedding photos. But a sex tape will do as well. Hahaha

I get horrific motion sickness (I cannot even go sit on a swing because they make me sick) so the thought of sitting on a bus for three months sounds terrible. But I only get sick on buses when I do anything but stare out the window. So no tv or reading for me. Phil will be very bored if he is like me. But there is some good medicine out there for motion sickness now so maybe he can find some of that.

I get motion sickness a lot as well, though it was worse as a child than it is now. I'm thinking the only thing Phil can do is completely tire himself out at every stop, like literally get so tired he can't stay awake, and then just crash and sleep the entire time they're driving. Probably not the healthiest option but most travelling will be done during the night anyway so if he's able to sleep despite the movement he'll be ok most of the time.
