They went to Vidcon, then the roadtrip.. now what? Maaaan, we're back to unknown territory, I'm incredibly nervous/excited about the future because I really don't know what to expect from them now.

Sorry, back to DnP. I agree we've truly entered uncharted territory. I'm excited for whatever comes next (I've got my fingers crossed for the return of joint content), but I'm also nervous that they'll go back into their respective caves and stop communicating with their audience again. It's been great to see them regularly posting on social media these past few days, and I'm worried that they're about to pull another disappearing act.

I really fucking love how Phil is consistently pretending he's somewhere else while Dan is like fuck this imma do what I want now. It's cute.

I agree with everyone saying we've entered into the unknown, but I find it exciting. After nearly 5 years of ups and downs with them and career moves I know and trust (maybe people will say I'm silly and dumb to do that but whatever) that whatever they pump out it'll be good. Not always *coughs* but I trust there will be something good, and I'm just very excited for all of it. Perhaps I'm naive but oh well

Watching the last gaming video today with Sims winter fest, they did seem very excited to have Dab and Evan have a proper gay wedding, saying they left it on that so it was something to look forward to. I don't think they'll it entirely. Dan looked horrified when Phil said it was like a one direction hiatus, so I do think they'll post on there again. Just don't know when, or if that'll be the first joint content.

Echoing everyone else, but a mukbang would be great for a catch up without the possible awkwardness of a liveshow. But sooner rather than months down the line - we've waited so long

I cannot believe Phil only proposed it 3 times... what I can believe is more proof of Dan being Phil trash #1.

This reminds me of when they were on The Playlist last year, and they were playing against each other and they were like: "we're so competitive, you have no idea, it gets violent" and then Dan proceeded to pretty much let Phil win. Like, he literally keeps himself from pressing the button and winning points because he wants to see if Phil knows it/wants to give him the point. I had an urge to comment on this vid saying "what is this gay shit" but I was strong and held back

As for what's next...honestly at this point i have absolutely no idea. Dan seems to still be relishing in the post-coming-out euphoria (RIGHTFULLY DESERVED) so maybe his next video will be something gay. Honestly at this point I would not be shocked if he really did post a lube review. Anything's fair game at this point seriously.
An honest prediction of mine might be that he'll upload another video trying to be motivational? or wishful thinking, a gay storytime ?!

A theory I have that I wanted to share with y'all......less a theory and more an idea...I think that Dan likes to make us scramble and confused. Like I think he finds it kinda funny or amusing. For example Dan clearly knows right now that there's debate in the phandom about if he's with Phil and a lot of it is due to his 'slide into the DMs' comment in BIG so...I think he's posting these thirst things not only to make us squee bc wow, adorable hot and gay, but also because he knows it'll kinda rile us up like IS THIS FOR PHIL OR FOR SOMEONE ELSE? i think Dan kinda likes that he can make us so confused yknow....there was another example of this a little while ago but i forgot it...

I also love those stats omg!! I find it so interesting, I think it adds to their dynamic in how weak Dan is for Phil, and the whole idea of Phil always needing to play for something to win, even if they aren't competing. I think it's all very neat lol

Also I wanted to say with a lot of the insta stories we got last year some of them made it pretty clear they're logged into each other's accounts on both of their phones, even just from little things like some of Phil's stories defaulting to Dan's typical black bar typewriter font. But mostly videos and stuff. Probably just makes a lot of it easier for them.

As for your idea eevee, I know you said you don't think he would do it to be harmful or upset anyone, but regardless of that I personally hope he isn't doing anything like that because I think that would be a weird abuse of power and step past the fourth wall in a weird and uncomfortable way. On that topic, I think Dan's just trying to live his truth (pun kind of intended lol). Of course he's grown a lot since being a literal teenager, but looking back to some of his dailybooths as one example, I think that's just how Dan is lol. And thinking back to the way he presented himself in his insta stories last year (specific example being that 'd vitamin' shirtless story from when they were having the little vacay in Australia last summer) he seems to have been on a slow journey to being more comfortable with his physical self alongside his actual person online.

In that BBC talentworks podcast, Dan said he's pretty intense about being authentic. It's something we know about him, and can clearly see with the way he struggles in presenting himself. This is the first time he's really been able to be himself so I think he's just trying to embrace that. I also don't think the "is this for Phil or the cute mutuals" (maybe I'm biased bc I'm firmly on team the cute mutuals was a joke and I don't know how people are taking it any other way) is something he would do. He's said he's a private person, especially when it comes to Phil, and I think he's made it clear he's with Phil anyway, so while I don't think he's doing anything in that regard at all, making us guess about stuff being for Phil seems to left field for the Dan we know in 2019.

I am of the opinion that if Dan wanted to be confusing he wouldn't have called Phil his soulmate and companion through life, and that his use of "obviously" highlights that he doesn't think things about his relationship with Phil were as ambiguous as some people liked to see them, even prior to BIG's direct discussion of it. I think if he wanted us to be unsure about whether or not he and Phil had broken up, he'd act more like possibly an ex and post less about Phil's ass or about getting laid in the desert where the only other prospects are Martyn & Cornelia.

That being said, I do think he likely enjoys us being like 'omg did he really post that??!?' just not riles up in a doubting-his-relationship-with-Phil way.

Maybe they either really took their X-Box with them (which I wouldn’t put past them lol they did pack the Switch) or Dan just posted an old video specifically for the LGBT hashtag yesterday. Or Cornelia is posting very, very delayed stories as well. But since no one spotted them at the airport I think they might really road trip some more.

Hmm I'm loving this where in the world are dap & mac mystery. Can't trust anyone, especially deppy lol. I may be wrong, but I kinda don't think they're home yet? Just a hunch. I was pretty surprised that everyone felt convinced they're home just based on Dan's xbox tweet. These boys keep photos in their phones for weeks just to provide some content sometimes.
