Though I saw all of your guys posts about how Dan can handle it, and just not wear it if he doesn't want to, and I agree. I still feel as though people are pressuring him in a way that makes me feel uncomfortable.

the weirdest thing about the nail polish thing to me is that those girls must know dan is rich and can buy nail polish if he wants...... clearly they just wanted a reaction out of him like if he's not wearing nail polish it's bc he doesn't want to.. not bc he needs fans to prod him in the right direction like dressing up a doll

even outside of the creepy headcanon forcing i remember d&p saying multiple times that they can't accept gifts this tour? those nail polishes either ended up with cat or in the bin tbh, unless it's different bc it's playlist.

I remember watching a Louise or Zoella playlist live vlog in which they were putting all the gifts from meetups in a box to be sent to England.
I think the same could apply to deppy. (?)

Probably the situation is different with the gifts they will receive while touring, since they are gonna move almost daily from town to town...without thinking about the amount of boxes!!!

I'm in minority here because I actively dislike Dan's hat. However, it's not my head but his, what he wants to wear is his choice not mine and I absolutely love the fact that he's owning it and, as it seems, isn't afraid of wearing it in public I have a very soft spot for confident people even when they wear stupid stupid hats

Phil's video was lovely, I adore his way of storytelling, it's really like listening to a friend. I hadn't even noticed little inconsistencies in his story until I read IDB. But anyway I don't think I care about them. And I must echo the people here who thought that the #spon part was done quite naturally and efortlessly.

And I don't even know what to write about those girls "licking" Phil. Just UGH.

I'm not trying to overreact, but what those girls did is straight up sexual harassment. It's stuff like this (not to mention that time a few years back when a girl LICKED Phil's face) that make me wonder why people still want to be famous Youtubers and public figures when their comfort and safety can be so easily threatened.

I agree, it doesn't even seem that they are friends with DP: surely my thoughts would have been way different had it been Cat and Hazel, for instance. What would have been the reactions if it had been Phil doing that with two unknown girls?

Re Phil's video, I like it, though he was a bit too hyped, the story was too #relateble because yesterday I literally RAN LIKE A MANIAC in the Melbourne airport to catch a flight and it was embarrassing.

Re tour bus tweet, i honestly cringed when I saw it, the lie, it hurts. They really need a handbook on "how to be friends" because friends share a bed when travel okay? If they shared a bed then later Dan complain about how Phil steal all the duvet would be a better cover up. The tweets were super staged. On a bright side, if they prepped us for the double bed, does that mean we are getting a DITL???

Re cat, I too don't like nor dislike her, she is just a bit basic. However I didn't know the rape and the dog thing tho.

Re nail polish thing, warning - rant about tumblr feminism.

I get that boys like Troye wearing nail polish is about challenging the gender norm and it's very commendable, however there is nothing wrong about not want to do that. Everybody have the right to chose about how they want to live, as long as they are law biding moral people, they don't need to answer to anyone. Not wanting to confront gender stereotypes does not make a person a bad feminist or less progressive. Feminism is about ending gender based oppression, not starting one. Stop pressuring Dan to wear nail polishes.

And for god sake wet n' wild really? Dat young man you see is wearing a pair expensive shoe designed by America's most famous homeless style fashion designer Mr. Kanye himself! At least buy him a louboutin nail polish thank you very much.

But then it came 2012, there's only scent but no food (no homo), so our little rat brain confused at the first, then soon learned that food wonuld't come anymore. And now it's the post-2012, the food sometimes come with the scent, sometimes don't, and we are just a bunch of lab rats with trust issue, so we don't believe about any food anymore.

I was never a huge fan of the new 1 hour format so I'm embarassed to admit that I completely forgot about today's show. The fact that I could forget about it makes me feel incredibly nostalgic for the good ol' days I discovered D&P in March 2013 and I remember loving their 2 hour long radioshows then. I really hope they are taking over the world because that photo makes me sad. And because I am currently emotional, I wish radio 1 lose a significant number of listeners. Don't mind my last statement.

BTW that inappropriate photo by the 2 YTers is very disappointing. They should have know better. They are sending a wrong message to Deppy's young audience. One of them is even from NYU. I also don't like how they reply to those who call them out. I don't want to say this but they are clearly attention whores. They know associating themselves with Deppy will help them.

It was the thing that made me go from being a casual watcher of Dan's to slowly becoming more involved and finally become a deppy phan (this phrase is so catchy, why didn't i think of using it before? altho is it only me cringing a bit at the overusage of "phan", damn you 2012!). So I'm quite fond of the radio show to say the least... even tho the switch to monthly shows made it a bit less of a deal kind of... (am i losing my ability to english...?)

I know we've moved past this, but this is some Evan Edinger level of lack of self-respect. I've never understood YouTubers being creepy about other YouTubers...if you're a fan of another YouTuber, why not play it cool and try to actually have a conversation with them or something? Or at least not be weird, so that when you attend the same conventions together it's not awkward af.
