A few thoughts from my own timestamps:

The Big Brother situation was definitely Phil talking about the story he shared before where he made it and then was too afraid of being outed/outing himself. He said that when Dan was asked to be Davina wasn't still on an she left in 2010.

The Aladdin (actually Sinbad) story Dan told just sent me flying. I love them so much and I want Stereos to keep going forever so we can get these little breadcrumb stories of moments in their life that we didn't get too much about before.

Dan talks about Phil bashing his head in as though it happened that day, and Phil tells the truth and said it was a few days ago (as he was starting to edit his new video). I wonder what was up with that?

They also must just have so many plans for the future. Things are so wide open for them. They're gonna have their place, their grounding, their forever-or-at-least-for-a-long-time home base. They could spend the next year or two on solo projects that the pandemic bumped and then still decide to do their own Dan and Phil travel show, either funded by studio backing or just on their own merit - we know they're not afraid to take and hold the reigns of their own careers, hi look at the second tour. I wonder how many nights they lie in bed just talking about things they want to do together one day?

I once again listened to Stereo live while high (missed the first 10 min bc I was listening to show tunes and vibing) and for some reason convinced myself they were gonna tell us some news/talk about some new project, but would only do it in the end??? And then it ended and I was like "Omg they didn't even reveal what the news were????". Before that, though, my head was literally going "News? What could it be? Is the new house in the US? No, couldn't be, they always visit it? Omg, but what if they're already in the US. Nah, doesn't make sense...Are they getting married???? Omg they're getting married!!!!! No, it's not 2022 yet....also they wouldn't tell us....It's probably something to do with work....I wonder what..."

Loved the show though, much better than the last where they talked about femininity as if it's a synonym to freedom

Ok, I don't know if anyone here follows The Try Guys, but I was just listening to their podcast and here Eugene is talking about his childhood gay crushes, and he literally names every single person or character (real or animated) that dnp mentioned in the last 2 days. Like I have always felt Eugene and Dan are quite similar in some aspects (some only), but this particular episode is just really hilarious to me, listening after the last night's stereo show.

The show hasn’t been on air since 2018 in the uk. It was the last season. But they would do two season a year one celebrities and one everyday people. They have done some twist seasons where they had uk vs us stars, all stars vs new stars etc. From what I have seen on the us show it is very different from the uk. The us seems like fake partnerships to vote people off. Where the uk ones you can’t talk about who you are going to vote for it’s against the rules. In 2008 Phil wouldn’t be a celebrity he auditioned himself rather than actually being asked like dan was.

I did enjoy that a while back there was some discourse over people thinking they weren't marriage people as I have always thought Phil was 100% a family person from everything he's ever said. And now Phil's literally saying no to a crush on a fictional character in his video just because his surname sounds stupid. Like sorry can't fancy you, fictional character, but Phil Bohner sounds dumb so our imaginary marriage would never work.

And yeah omg!! I felt he was unconsciously addressing the topic! So do we all agree that it would be Daniel Lester and not Philip Howell? ahah

Hahaha you'd kind of hope so. Phil Howell sounds cool as a name tho.

I had just meant I think Phil's down for marriage, btw. I think Dan's marriage comments, however bizarre they were the other week, have something in them. No idea what that means or what he was on about frankly.

I thought Phil meant he got asked to go, unrelated to the time he auditioned! Now it makes more sense.
Here in Brazil we don't know exactly how the casting happens for everyday people, but we do know they "scout" some people, as there have been some models and social influencers on before (not well known ones, but still having that as a career), so that's why I was confused lol Thanks!

DNP are there, not only did she say she was taking a photo so phil's posing and dan looks like he wants to yeet himself into a coffin, but she also posted the photo with the literal URL of the call on it. cackling, what a wally.

DNP are there, not only did she say she was taking a photo so phil's posing and dan looks like he wants to yeet himself into a coffin, but she also posted the photo with the literal URL of the call on it. cackling, what a wally.

When Dan behaves like this - lowkey acting as if it was not a joke when other youtubers try to incorporate him/them in their vlogs suddenly - I get the sense that he is really protective of his brand/image and that he wants to remind the vlogger that being in front of a camera is a job for which work needs to be done and thus a sudden shootout is unrequired and "job not paid"?" Which is something I totally understand. I value my time and whatever I do for work needs to be paid for.
This is not the first time that he has these kind of reactions.

Also I don’t think Dan is doing anything other than pretending they have both frozen on the screen and Phil (as usual) gave in way too early

Sorry, just catching up here. I can see where you are coming from but the way these shows work they want people with numbers, so whereas we know they are both wonderful the producers of the show will simply be looking at how many followers they have. For whatever reason, Dan always pulls in more.

I don't blame anyone tbh, if someone tried taking a work photo of me on a conference call (erm first of all...why) especially in lockdown when i look awful, let alone if it was an online person likely to post it online I'd say sorry I don't want to/please don't post that of me if I didn't want to be involved.

Maybe he's just never set that boundary with her, because I think she would respect that if he did, her daughter asking to not have her face on camera the other day and she respected that, but on the flip side, surely an adult should know that you ask the other person beforehand if they want to be involved in anything being posted online, or you'd just know enough about the other person after that many years to know if they're a happy to be photographed person or not, and if we know he's not that bish you'd think she would?

My favourite thing of it all, by far, which I forgot to mention before, is that Robbie from ArsenalfanTV was included. I mean. There were only about 16 people on there. So it just made me chuckle that one was him.

I hate Dan for making that outfit look so good it's very not fair. although that mustache reminds me of my whiteboy friend growing up who spent 4 years not shaving trying to get facial hair. but good for Dan, do whatever you want with your face.

also super dumb thought but I can't get it out of my head that (aside from the obviously big factor of Dan's return from hibernation i.e. book publicity) a tiny reason for his spike in public presence could be because GW2 content has been super slow/not as fun story-wise lately because the long-awaited expansion's dropping later this year. Just saying, boy has more freetime now until mid to late 2021 comes around, and I can relate super hard.

I really did not think it was going to work, but I surprisingly enjoyed it.

I found it particularly funny because I have just started learning a new language so I've been having to do a lot of spelling practice because entirely new alphabet! I was like "feels like croatian studying"

Also Dan breaking out into song about Phil googling odd-sounding things and singing about how 'he's not with him (choice wording), doesn't share his internet, just arrest Phil', etc. had me really laughing after Phil's reduction of boyfriend rating for how Zane might break into song at random times

(Not that I'm a proponent of him changing his look; I wholeheartedly support a person's self determination, in all things but also specifically in regards to serious expression. )
