Speaking of Dan's career, does anyone remember the lost of things that Dan said had been cancelled due to the pandemic?
Here in the UK pretty much everything is back to normal now (with a few exceptions) so I'm wondering if people think those cancelled projects are around the corner ?

I would wager a book tour of some sort (even if he TATINOF'd it and turned it into more of a stage show) was on the books, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's still not a great time for international travel for him.

I was listening to Hank Green recently (an old episode of Delete This) talking about how his publisher wanted him to promote the paperback and he was just like... ?! it's the same book just softer.

Briefly back late at night after a hellish day at work to say I love Phil. And you are all catfishes because I forgot youtube shorts were called shorts and I spent ages trying to find the pic of my gorge lil Philly in shorts. pah. I was miss sold!

Loved Phil's latest vid. Had to watch it for a second time after my boss told me he 'is so fed up of having to take work back and do it himself' (not my work but I still wanted to smack him as that's a clear sign of poor management and he is poor at most things and his management is non existent). Funny how Phil got me through my early twenties and now is getting me through my idiot boss thirties. Probably fast forward to Phil getting me through the menopause lmao !

I was having a bit of a meh day so I treated myself to rewatching some 2018 vids and two things:

1) Still awed that they put that "Dan and Phil's bareback adventure" moment in the texting video. That was some gay boldness from two not out boys.

2) Dan and Phil's look has always been pretty distinguishable by evolving hairstyles and the fact that they, especially DAn, was literally still growing - but they are both full on adults settled into their style right now. I was watching those 2018 videos realizing that this might be the only period of three years (2018 to now) where you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in them just at a glance. (As opposed to like, 2012 vs 2015 dan, or 2015 vs 2018 dan, of 2009 vs 2012 Phil, etc.) I'm not sure why this pointless observation made me so happy but it did.

Oh that's great! Good for Phil for taking that step, shorts are probably a good way to ease into it and getting a feel of someone. I guess it's also easier to work with someone like Elliot that he knows and has worked with before.

These shorts are fun, though I have to rely on other people posting about them on social media to know they have been posted. I'm a bit familiar with Elliot from some Tomska vids, but otherwise I know nothing about him. In what capacity has he worked with Phil before?

I'm also not super familiar with Elliot aside from seeing him in tomska videos sometimes, but I'm happy that Phil chose an editor already in his circle and I'm also happy with his first go at posting a video edited by someone else. I think it's almost definite that it's Phil leaving the final commentary, and he just had Elliot do the legwork of combing through the raw footage of videos to find the thumbnail posing parts.

I'm so happy he's giving it a go! It's only a short so it's hard to say for sure but it didn't feel too different from a Phil edit. I didn't even notice anything unusual about it until I saw the posts mentioning Elliot! I agree Phil definitely went in and added the text, I'm really interested to see what a full length video would be like.

For the short itself, oh boy do I find clips of Phil posing for thumbnails the most awkward thing ever. It's hilarious but it also makes me want to cringe through the floor. Loved the quick flash of Dan posing as well!
