I don't know if Phil and Elliot have ever worked together on the production of a video, but Elliot shot and edited a video literally in Phil's living room, in which Phil appeared (you can see them both in the shot in the outtakes at 2:45):

he's really creative and does his own asdfmovie ripoffs (even though he works on and does voices for the real ones)
he is a very good editor for tomska's content, he really has a unique and distinct style that makes the smallest and most mundane things extremely funny so I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with Phil's chaotic messy energy
those two would be such good friends tbh I can see them hanging out and being chill

So it's almost Martyn's birthday and M&C are flying somewhere with Freja... if they are going to Isle of Man, what do we think the chances of Dan and Phil tagging along are? I'd love some nice scenic IoM shorts. Or even just some good ol' instagram content.

I've actually been wondering if they went on vacation or something this past week as they've been *so* quiet, which isn't too unusual for Dan, but Phil hasn't been active on any socials, not even liking things, since the 15th. I know we had the thumbnail short but unlike the other shorts there weren't any tweets or stories accompanying it. Not that I expect there to be with every short, but it just added to the general "quietness".

Okay I had to hunt that liveshow down... oh man, early 2013 Dan and Phil were just different people than the guys we watch now. The nostalgia feels more like an anthropological survey at this point. As an aside, wtf is up with insta teenagers being vile to Cat? She posted a nice comment on her friend's photo. I don't understand any reason for Cat hate in general but to go out of their way to be an asshole to her for literally no reason is disgusting. I'm sure Dan and Phil would be real proud to have horrible little bullies like that as fans, especially when they're attacking their own friends.
