I wonder how many people re-entered the email and now they have a misguided idea of how many people are actually interested (to a level of potential commitment) to their product! A bummer for them!

I guess it just shows the level of 'amatorial' behind-the-scene level of work they have - which is nice on one side! It means it's still very very personal and intimate to them. On the other, lol, it does ruins the experience a bit for some (like the whole messes with the shop I often read here)

Just looked at the tour dates for Interactive Introverts and I'm shocked at the amount of countries they went to. I'm guessing if they did a tour now this time they would be going to less countries? Since the phandom is not as big as it used to be. But damn they really went (almost) all over the world

Does anyone know if the previous tours were sold out/sold out quickly? Because with everyone thinking it's a tour and the RSVP thing is a pre-sale that makes it seem like it would be hard to get tickets. But I don't know how true that is. And obviously, even D&P aren't naive enough to think that their audience hasn't shrunk at least a bit.

i wanna say i remember vip selling out within seconds but venues still having some open seats, depending on the venue. my guess is it'll probably be a similar situation with vip going fast (if they do it) and fairly easy to get tickets otherwise? but that's just a game theory

At the end of yesterday's video, where the QR Code appears, Dan and Phil appear to be looking at all those screens! I might go insane with anticipation.

someone on twitter said how funny it was that this is the only apology they've ever had to post, and so true, their only crimes remain being criminally unfashionable. i'll take it

okay, so they have that picture in front of the TV screens as promo for whatever they're cooking up... could it be a TV show? I know it's a long shot but that'd just be so cool if it was. Although there'd be no reason for early sign up to whatever they're doing if the secret project was a show, so prob not... I just wanted to put it out into the world. Manifest it lol

one thing that jumped out to me is Phil's blonde hair. It signal that it is a recent shoot.

Had it been a tv show, it'd have a much longer pre-post production length, with many layers of clearance to to through, and thus Phil would still have his brown hair.

This is much recent thus done in a quicker manner, thus under much personal control. They shot it quickly with their own money/measures.

Excited to see what it is! <3

The screens made me think of a documentary of some kind.
But the RSVP and everything points more towards a tour. But what kind of tour? What would they do there this time? Because those screens have them looking at their old videos (from what we can see) but how does that play into a tour? It's why I think a documentary would make sense, it could be them reflecting on their career and spilling some beans. Which I'd be so here for.
I'm not personally interested in a tour as I likely wouldn't be able to go due to where I live.

As for Phil's hair in relation to the snippets they're teasing, it could go both ways. He said that he had been working towards this color for a while. But he had the in between color for quite some time, so was it necessary to wait that long? Maybe to shoot stuff with his more "regular hair" before making the big change? Or is it that he changed it just in time to shoot some promo stuff as to not repeat what he did with II and changing his hair right after all the promo things were shot.

I need them to tell us asap because I don't want to have to speculate anymore.

Dan and Phil are coming to Australia and New Zealand to heal your inner child and take back what the internet took from them.

In their new screamingly hilarious live stage show - it’s a new era. They’re older, gayer, Phil’s gone blonde, and nothing is off limits. Expect scandalous stories they couldn’t share before, theatrical plot twists and a savage roast of social media, the fans they raised and most importantly: themselves.

If you need to laugh, feel part of a community, and make peace with the past - don’t regret missing Dan and Phil in real life... before Dan has another breakdown and disappears.

Multiple thoughts!

First, sad they got played again and the theatre/this bad management took the news away from them :( Not the first time that happens, right? It must be annoying . Hope they're able to ride the news in their favour

Second, lol, the picture looks like a 90s boyband photoshoot. NSYC vibes.

Third, yay, lovely, a tour!

Fourth, and this is totally more of a personal taste issue, I hope it's not just like II but one closer to TATINOF or at least with more than just talking as they could in a video. I also hope Dan's input is balanced by Phil's and they do not go back to Dystopia Daily/WAD humour ;_;/

What I love about Dan and Phil talking about random shit in videos is how random and spontaneous it can be. Even if they have the power of editing but you can see they say the most random stuff sometimes and it's fun to see the other person react to that. Telling the same (presumably) rehearased (presumably) stories 50 times on tour just doesn't have the same vibes. As much as I want to hear those things. An if it's not the exact same, then there is a lot of fomo even for those who do get to go to the tour, because nobody will be able to hear it all. We shall see

I have no thoughts about a tour until I know what it is.

I loved the last video. I feel like that card game isn’t *that* funny but for some reason D&P seem to genuinely find it hilarious and that’s really fun to watch. Goofballs

Side note: I would be very bad at the game because I almost never hear the words. My brain sees the wrong words written on the screen and it simply cannot imagine that they could say anything else.
I'm having a stress.

Do you all think they will go with smaller venues this time around? Just that, when I attended Dan's tour, the venue was less than half full. I know there's more interest in their joint ventures, but I still think the overall interest in seeing them on tour will be significantly lower compared to the last tour.

I'm not even sure I'll be going this time around. I still watch and enjoy much of their content but I feel pretty disconnected from fandom community in general these days.

At least here in Michigan, the venue will be the same that Dan used for WAD!

the venue in my town is where my highschool graduation was lol, it's slightly bigger than the WAD one that dan had here but not by much, kind of similar size to when i saw tatinof

TOURRRRR. Sucks that it leaked before the announcement, but that might be almost inevitable with these kind of things.

The Amsterdam show is so far away and I'm so impatient that I'm seriously thinking about catching the first show in Antwerp. It's just a train ride away, which shouldn't be too expensive in the middle of the week in early September, and I'd only have to stay over for one night. It barely counts as travelling.

Re: venue size, for the Amsterdam show they've actually increased venue size from the Rai Theatre to AFAS Live. That makes sense though, as II and WAD both had matinees due to demand and with the exception of the WAD matinee (which was added much later) all shows sold out quickly.

I'm so excited for the tour! My only issue is I'll be laying awake at night worrying I won't be able to get m&g tickets. Anyone has some perspective on how quickly they tend to sell out? I haven't attempted to get one for previous shows. (I'm going in Oslo)

If you have the ability to go to the first one… I would do it. That sounds funnn.

Tragically, I’m supposed to be teaching (an undergrad course that people paid like thousands of dollars to take) at the same time as the show near me.

Maybe I’ll have a “family emergency” or my grandma will “die” so I can’t teach that day.

MAYBE cancelling class is the responsible and courteous thing to do, to allow all the phannies in my class to see it!!

Just kiddingggg- I’m a responsible employee- I will show up to work.
… so I might travel to see it too. :ourmoney:

I'm such a faker. I was whining about how I want it to be something other than tour and now I'm going to spend my workday trying to figure out how to get to Warsaw :garbage: It's happening on my sister's birthday (and mine name's day, not that that's a holiday celebrated anywhere else) so it feels like fate to go. But if it wasn't for my sister, I'd write it off as too crazy because we probably need to go by plane from a different country. Europe suddenly doesn't seem so small anymore.
The Warsaw venue seems to be more of a club with no seating, which has me slightly worried. I need to investigate it further though.
edit: seems to be the same place where WAD was so at least that should make my research easier
