on the topic of dan and phil being kind of dull nowadays, what was their "peak" (so to say) of interest for you? my favorite was probably on the whole drama of the isle of man visit for fathers day or so, i found the drama with the liveshow slip up the week before and the twitter fandom trying to hide airport photos or whatever with the eventual speculation/theories of what the fuck they were doing so fun. but beyond that, i agree. i'm trying to place why i feel this way without scapegoating my own falling interest i guess, but ah well. maybe it's the lack of drama? am i just sadistically waiting for a slip? do i even care anymore? i'll let myself out

That was a good time of being in the Phandom. A lot of videos were happening around the time. The liveshows were good and long. There was a lot to talk about back then and the Phandom seemed to be in a happy place. They should go back please.
I don't find D & P dull now but you know what I mean.

When danisnotonfire channel stop uploading once dan hit the age of 50(tots gonna cry ), I want the very last video to be AmazingDan. Not necessarily the same format, but they answers unanswered faq all this time and it will all be soppy. He will say 'bye', the screen changed to the danisnotofire special effect, with danisnotonfire word written at the background with small amazingphil beneath it, then slowly fade out.

But his last video will be GOODBYE INTERNET. right

That was a good time of being in the Phandom. A lot of videos were happening around the time. The liveshows were good and long. There was a lot to talk about back then and the Phandom seemed to be in a happy place. They should go back please.

Japan was definitely a great time to be a fan I think it was especially nice after all the high emotions surrounding the book/tour being announced so suddenly. they used instagram so much more during that time rip

Hello, hello. Longtime gg lurker and occasional poster, back again.

Sorry about the lack of avatar! I swear I'll remember once I get on my computer. Lovely to see all these familiar faces at a shiny fast forum (oqua, jhamba and missemma, you are my heroes ). And I'm glad that so many avatars are the same as before; it helps me distinguish everyone from the crowd.

I've been madly busy, combined with sucky internet (not to mention gg acting up like always), so mostly missed the jhamba drama happening live. Thanks to Delta for the lovely pm; it might have taken me longer to remember this place existed otherwise.

DST is on in the UK? Noo! Guess I will watch Dan's shows afterwards now, like I do Phil's (being alert enough at 7 on a Wednesday morning is too much for me). And once DST goes on here next week, it will be even worse.

In other news, I loved the gaming video. I'm kind of looking forwards to the US tour, though I'm on the wrong side of the world to experience it; if the UK tour is anything to go by, they'll post even more videos than usual ... let's hope ...

edit: i may or may not have muddled the daylight savings thing ... ignore my whinging ...

I only found dnp in november 2015, so i wasn't there for any of this drama, or Japhan adventures, or lubegate, etc. In that sense i can see how someone could find recent months of -domestic- routine kinda dull. Not much drama happening in dnp world nowadays.

Only thing that comes in mind is when Phil posted than picture from cafe with "his friend Rosie" and phandom freaked out for a second. To this day i personally can't decide if he was trolling or genuinely didn't see what reaction it would cause.
