I really really enjoy seeing how everyone on the crew is enjoying the tour. They're always tweeting about how they're having a nice time/don't want it to end and it warms my heart.

There are 900 seats left. 900!!! Why did they add so many...or just release them now...I'm so confused what could the benefit be?

makes it sound like the "new seats" could also sell out quickly due to a high demand. means that people on the fence about it will buy quickly rather than hesitating about it
but that's a lot to sell in a short space of time :? is it a large venue, or just a massive miscalculation on someone's part?

They're selling them as new seats as they don't want to admit that the 1000 seats they did have left are now being sold at better than half price. The same thing happened when they added Basingstoke, Kent and the last London show during the UK leg of the tour, the tickets in London were being given away for £10 in the end!

I don't know how well the newly added Hollywood date is selling but I just looked and you can still get 3rd row tickets in the orchestra. Cora they're really good seats, I know you were looking ;)

If you think having 900 tickets left is bad, have a look at the Hollywood show that they've just announced....they've barely sold any tickets

wow that's a lot of seats
i tried to go into the buy option in the venue
to see if they had a map like the hollywood one and it's giving me an error
i hope they can sell a few more, it'll be kinda sad if the show dedicated to dan's bday is half empty

i liked the new video! good bants and overall ok
i think they don't have any other vids left unless they filmed a sims or undertale on the same day they filmed phil's

I went to the show in Houston Wednesday night and Cornelia's tweet really hits home.
I sat there looking around at all the (predominately 13-20 year old female crowd - did I feel old or what?!) and throughout the whole show, it just felt like "love". You could feel the adoration the audience had for , but you could also feel the had for their fans. I think maybe attract a certain "type" of person -- kind and sweet but with their own off-beat sense of style (hair dyed bright colors, wearing funky clothes). People were so friendly talking with people they had never met who were sitting around them. Even extremely introverted me found myself talking with a lovely young lady (hi Brantley if you decided to join us!) who was going to multiple shows in different cities.

Gotta say though, the boys definitely know what buttons to push and buzzwords to use. And the audience responded by shrieking to every single one like well-trained lab rats. But the minute would start speaking again, the audience would immediately be quiet and respectful. The shrieking wasn't obnoxious or bothersome at all (I may have done some myself).

Too many phan references/innuendos to remember. They are very self-aware. Nothing they said or did was an accident. If it turns out they're just platonic biffles, and have been toying with the "pheels" of thousands (if not millions) of young people's hearts who love them and look up to them, I'll lose respect for them as people, (not to mention the LGBT aspect of it). Yes, they are "just entertainers", "how we interpret it is our responsibility", "they're just giving the audience what they want", yada yada; but they KNOW what they are doing.

I saw the "existential crisis" mat. The area was actually quite large and on the second floor. The exits were actually down a level. The glass doors you see open on to a balcony, so no one was in any danger. And they certainly weren't making fun of people who might literally be in crisis. They were simply paying homage to someone they adore.

The most frustrating and unpleasant thing for me was the whole "no spoilers" thing. Literally from the time you entered the building ALL of the ticket-takers and ushers reminded every single person that NO VIDEO OR RECORDING OF ANY KIND WAS ALLOWED AND THAT YOUR EQUIPMENT WOULD BE CONFISCATED. There were people actually walking up and down the aisles with signs about it and looking for anyone who could be misconstrued as breaking the rule. You couldn't even have your phone out. We were there 30 minutes early and weren't allowed to text. I would not do well in a dictatorial society.

If my count is correct, there are approx. 2800 seats still available for the Hollywood show.

Slight show spoilers.
That's weird to me because at my show, which was Boston, we were allowed to text right up to the show and no one reminded us once about the no photography etc until the show actually started. I was able to take a picture of the stage before the show started. I even asked the people next to me if the no spoilers thing was still in place since no one had mentioned it. Weird.

I've just has a look at the website for the Vegas show and unless it just hasn't updated yet/it's an error only the balcony is appearing to be reduced to $29 the rest of the available seats are still listed as full price so I don't see them shifting the majority of the empty seats.

It's also not very likely they'll get anywhere near to selling out the Hollywood matinee with it only being added weeks in advance (well maybe with serious discounting).
I think they must have known this though so I don't if maybe it was essential they add an extra show for filming purposes or they have some other unknown reason for it because I doubt it's been added because they thought it would be highly profitable.

If it is the one being filmed I wonder if they've filmed the audience at other shows so if they need any audience reaction/cheering shots they can insert those in rather then showing a load of empty seats on camera.

aww this is lovely, thank you fer telling us all of this
and idk, maybe they have been steadily making that security higher in the new shows because they had a few problems in the past with videos leaking and all?

Wow I thought that video was adorable! Also, they had like no personas. I agree that is wasn't the 'best video ever' just bc of the actual game content, but idk, it felt very genuine to me. Lol at Dan making innuendos with the comic sans.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a popular flower shop AU fanfic where Phil says that his favorite flower is a lily? Is this is a coincidence, or is is Phil aware of the fic and is trying to troll everyone?

Guys that video was a revelation to me I feel like my enthusiasm about Dan and Phil and Phan in general has increased like 10000% I freaking loved it. I will come back tomorrow when my thoughts are more organized and make a better post. And I'll also probably post like a million pictures in the body parts thread. I feel like I've never truly appreciated how attractive Dan and Phil are. Ahhh. Sorry for such an incoherent post; I'm just so excited in general. I had to go back and purposely replace all the exclamation points I used in this post the first time around with periods so as not to seem too crazy haha. :D

Woo, what a video to wake up to and so soon after the last one. They were both adorable and everything else everyone's already said, it's great to see them like this.

So many fanvids for Dan's birthday, a few of them are really lovely.

DvP Agar.io: Late (getitcauseI’mdead) and most of it’s been said but thought I’d throw in some favorite moments:
- When Phil was like “give us a warning” to Dan during rock paper scissors, that expression sounds very casual and comfortable (and, to my American ears, very British) and it's adorable.
- Dan’s reaction to that DanHowell1975. Like, that five seconds or so of silence and then him shouting had me
- A bunch of folks already mentioned loud/almost cussing Phil and let’s just say that’s one of many reasons why DvPs are my favorite joint content of theirs 8-)
- Esp. Phil at 4:53-5:01
- “TheRealDanHowel” (I know it was the character limit but it was still funny)
- “That is such a satisfying shade o- [screamscreamscream]”
- “Oh my Phil I’m very large right now…I’m just putting that out there"- just handing it to the out-of-context editors there daniel
- Also, as already mentioned, they both look fantastic but is anyone else especially for Phil’s profile from 10:07-39ish (shoutouttomyfellowmiddleagednoseandmessyfringepervs )?
- Finally, a little mushy moment in watching this. For some reason, it made me acutely aware of the fact that these guys have basically grown up together and just how special their relationship is. Like, look at how much Dan still adores Phil's mannerisms…and look how comfortable and confident Phil is beside Dan. It’s all just so
Overall, I enjoyed it and appreciate their effort to start getting back into putting out semi-regular (ish) content…it *almost* made up for Phil’s tweet of terror last night that, thankfully, did not give me nightmares. I hope none of you were too scarred by it why Philip why I missed idb all day but when that business went up...ohhh, the bants that could've been.

Less than two weeks of TATINOF left now...I'm lighting a candle for a little farewell US ls within the next week or so before they do the last few shows in CA and head on back home. America is missing them already :sobs: but there's no place like London

Unpopular(?) opinion time:
The new (prerecorded) video just made me think of how we on IDB have been criticising them for their lack of content / how little they freaking upload as compared to other Youtubers, but the release of this pre-recorded video when we were so sure they had nothing, and that Phil actually had the idea behind the $5 Internet Challenge over a year ago, reminded me that there's a lot of things that they're doing that we have no idea about, and a lot of considerations they're probably making that we are not aware of in the slightest because we are not Youtubers with at least 6 million pairs of eyes on us. I don't want to sound like I'm making excuses for them, but it's just a possibility I'd like to keep in mind from time to time. Imagine people complexly etc yeah?
I am enjoying their new relaxed vibe in videos, really got me wondering where they're heading in future, but guess we'll just have to wait and see.......

All the talk about an Asia tour actually happening is making me excited but I do hope it won't happen until next year. (Thanks IDB for remembering Singapore as an English speaking Asian country) Idk why you guys seem to think they'd have a show in China?????? where Youtube is banned??????? There was a China idb member though so times might have changed, and nigahiga just created a weibo (Chinese equivalent of Twitter) account, but as far as I know D&P is still largely unheard of in China. (oh, the 1.3 billion potential subscribers that they are missing out on.)
