I like the weed jumper too, certainly more than the potato sack - he just wears it too much, and in inappropriate weather conditions.

I don't like the potato sack when Dan first wear it but it really looks nice watching him moving in it (in caspar's vlog). It makes him look soft and cuddly. Like a teddy bear. Sweater paw is a plus.

I want little vlog clips so badly ;_; If we ain't getting a full DITL, at least give us that you bastards. You can upload a shitty unedited iPhone clip even with the shittiest hotel or café internet. If they more consistently uploaded clips of them being cute in their daily life in general, LAP would've reached 1M a year ago.

I like the jumper, but the problem with Dan is that when he finds an outfit he likes he's gonna wear it all the fucking time. He did it with that the white circle t shirt, that outfit with the grey shirt and black jacket he wore all the time last year, and now with this damn jumper. As if I'm not bored enough by this tour already.

Those videos are some of the least watched on the channel, the third episode still hasn't even reached 900k yet and is dead last in popularity (not counting the new Agar.io) so I doubt they'll invest more time into that. Shame tbh, I really enjoyed watching that. I enjoyed Dan's Pokémon video as well, so I'd like more solo content in general (despite mostly being into it for the bantz). But it would keep the gaming channel alive when one of them is busy doing something else.

And I go through my "are they or aren't they" phases, so I feel you. When I'm feeling a bit down about it, I remind myself that they are 25 year-old and 30 year-old men with healthy libidos who have not been seen on a date with another man or woman and who've chosen to live together exclusively, for 6 years. I can't come up with another plausible explanation.

Petition to stop saying the phrase 'healthy libidos'. First of all we know nothing about their libidos beyond innuendos that they make, and anyone can make innuendos. Second of all wanting to have sex is not the same as wanting to have a relationship. 3rd of all this is totally exclusionary to ace and aro people who regardless of their libido maybe don't want to have sex and in some cases don't want a relationship. anyway

if d+p didnt want to be caught on a date, theyd manage.
people use fan taken photos or tweets about the pair of them being found in a shop as proof theyd be caught on a date with someone else, but theyre not trying to not be seen when theyre with each other. they can hide things if they try. if massive celebrities have journalists and paparazzi dedicated to just catching them and still manage to date secretly until they need a front page to hype their album, dan and phil could see other people without being caught by people on twitter if they wanted to.

besides, some people just dont want to date, even if they feel attraction. they have nice lives, theyre experiencing things that may only last a few years, they could postpone any kind of settling to enjoy it if they wanted. they have other priorities. dating isnt a goal that everyone finds immediately necessary, they only have so much time as it is.
especially backs up the 'but phil says hed rather have sex than alcohol!!!' thing, people change as their situations change. plus, hes all 'eww alcohol and clubs more like pokemon haha am i right??' so that isnt really saying much.

My guess is that Phil had thrown Dan a private party and they invited the tour/merch crews and a few close friends such as Cat. They can book a large enough suite for it.

It's a old photo, she now has blue hair.
But I think the theory of a chill party with the crew is the most probable one, esp bc they must be relatively tired after the show to go out and do crazy things. Drinks with friends sounds much more plausible.

I have a question that i've always wanted to ask and it kind of fits into the current conversation (not really, but it never does):

Am i the only one who would embrace a #phandivorce? I mean if they privately and creatively go their seperate ways?
I know it's a big ship, but is there nobody else who prefers them on their own?

I personally would love to see what they would do on their own, just expressing themselves, not their chemistry. (And without couple projects like the bour eating their creativity)
I know they still have seperate channels, but we know they have a lot of influence on each other's channels and in Phil's case, he's having Dan in more of his videos than not. I'm also talking about their private lives. How they would live on their own.

i want their own channels to be their own channels, i dont want a collab every second video. dinof should be dinof and ap should be ap. i really do not care if they make innuendos or touch each others shoulder. i didnt subscribe to their solo channels for 2 people acting like normal friends and being praised for forcing the #bants
gaming channel is fine, if the usual radio format came back thats fine, but i want them to have something alone. and more solo jobs. i dont hate their joint stuff, but it feels like its holding them back, more from the way they do joint stuff than just because its happening. its more constricting than a solo brand.

I am not bothered either way as I don't watch DINOF; I am ok with AP having Dan or any other yotubers in his channel as long as its entertaining. If Phil can find someone else that will have better chemistry with him I'm ok with Dan not being in his channel, but as of now they have the best and it makes good video, so Dan can stick around until the next person comes around (if any).

While I personally would love more separate content on their own individual channel and their future career I would stop watching them if they went separate in their lives. I don't care if they are a couple but their bond is something that should be cherished, so to lose that in real life or not be able to see it in their joint channel

Same, i will be extremely sad if they finally choose their own ways. I will be still watching them and i will follow their career, but i will be just sad, and do not have a good explanation why. Just because.

I really do love their chemistry. I don't care about innuendos. But I agree that I would love a lot more solo content from them (Dan). I feel like I've seen so little of Dan's actual creativity and humor expressed through DINOF. I don't know what it would take for him to utilize his channel, but I want him to do that.

I personally like it the most when they work together, I agree with SquishPhan that they work better together than on their own. I don't know about everyone else but when I'm watching them together, they just seem so extremely happy. A kind of happiness radiates from them when they're together, and that's what I really enjoy watching. Couple or not no one can deny that they make each other extremely happy and it's contagious. That's what I really like about them.

If something happened and they split I would be sad for them because I would imagine they would both be sad about it as well.

I wouldn't unsubscribe from either Dan or Phil if #phandivorced (well not for that reason alone) but I don't think I would hold the same level of interest and affection for them if I knew I was never going to get to see them interact with one another again.
I'm in it for the whole package they are selling which is them as individuals and them as a duo, if they eliminate one half of that equation then my interest will likely wane.

I'd still class myself as a fan and be a regular watcher of both without the other but probably just in the same way I am with all the youtubers I'm subscribed to who I don't follow on social media or join message boards to discuss.

Of course I would probably only lose interest in discussing them after I'd driven myself mad with the endless discussions that would be taking place on here about what could possibly have went down between that they couldn't be around one another any more. Can you even imagine what this place would be like if Dan and Phil returned from tour and proceeded to cut the other from their lives?

I've been bored with DINOF and AP solo content since 2014, a #phandivorce would basically mean that while totez heartbroken I'd finally be free lmao.

It's very rare that they make a solo video that I genuinely love and enjoy these days... Although I'd like to see less other people on AP because he's basically a collab channel at this point, his solo content doesn't entertain me as much as it used to. And I just don't like the direction DINOF went in, if I could sacrifice study advice giving awkward rolemodel Dan for sarcastic bastard Dan, I would've done it already.

It's not all bad, Dan's anime video was nice and I liked Phil's second Sleepless Night video. Plus it's also not as if I like everything they do together, the Face Swap video wasn't my thing at all. I need a balance basically. With more consistent uploading and without 37 jobs on the side they're doing and putting all their creativity in leaving nothing for YouTube.

I am so jaded that I know that even the closest best friends grow apart so I am just here waiting for #phandivorce. I even wish for it sometimes because I feel like they've become too comfortable with their joint brands that they've limited themselves with what they can do in their channels. But I agree with sweetmm. Until Phil meets/finds a person who has a better chemistry with him, Dan can stay.

Am I the only one who is absolutely thrilled that they didn't tweet or instagram a single pixel about yesterday? Don't get me wrong, I'm immensely curious about what they got up to in Vegas even just from a "oh, I didn't know you could do that there" perspective. But I'm also relieved that, for a change of pace, they (presumably) got to spend some quality time just with each other and maybe some friends, no cameras, no performing, no capturing for anyone else, just living and experiencing...whatever it is they chose to do. I know, insert "this generation doesn't know blah blah blah"/live-in-the-moment platitude here, but I mean it. In a way, nothing is the most way this could've gone. OK, maybe I'm letting my imagination run away with me a bit but will be

Weed shirt: I like it too. It looks comfortable as all out and comfortable Dan makes me as well. I don't get wearing it in strong sun and 90+ degree heat either but maybe it's made from some sort of protective space age fiber that actually keeps you cool? Who knows.

I've highlighted the bit I really agree with. I really enjoyed it when Dan did the supergamers documentary and would enjoy them doing a few more things seperately. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the videos where they collab, the punk edits & face swap challenge video are two of my favourite all time videos but I would also like to see more seperate stuff too. I dont think after they've finished conquering the world with tatinof that they'll completely go their seperate ways but I do hope they'll take on some solo projects because I'd like to see that side of them.
