I think Phil will suffer more as the heat will trigger his migraine if he does not avoid it.
Our summers range from 90 to 110 (f, obviously - not sure what that translates to in c) and I'm typically in jeans and primarily black - I actually wear more black in the summer because if I'm going out I don't want to end up with sweat stains on my shirt, and black is most forgiving for that.

(I do usually draw the line at sleeves, though. I go for black t-shirts.)

Aaaww his right side is really 10x cuter than his left. I think the heat doesn't bother him anymore since he always wears black. But I want to know how he smells after sweating due to his aesthetic.

Phil, wear the darkest shades you have and a hat. That heat and sunlight are recipes for the worst migraine.

About the whole stopping to meet fans things at conventions, I also think they're not allowed to. You see an innocent small meet up with a group of 10 people, convention organization and security sees potential safety hazard. And rightfully so...

If Dan and Phil stop for a small group of people, others will notice that and join the group in hopes of meeting them. This can get out of hand faster than you'd think, by the time they'll get halfway through the original group, there will be a whole new group of 10 people begging for selfies and autographs. And that just keeps going on, until there's a crowd packed into one small space (like a hallway, where people need to be able to move in case of sudden emergency). The crowd becomes an unorganized mess because people are excited and there are no rules, lines or security like in an official meet up. People can become impatient, push each other around and potentially get trampled (including Dan and Phil themselves). Plus, Dan and Phil wouldn't be able to get away without pissing off even more people than when they had just ignored the original group and creating an unfair situation for all fans involved ('i didnt get my stuff signed while they did, that's so unfair!!111one).

Conventions don't want that happening, which is why bigger YouTubers nowadays always have security with them when in public areas (some even hire their own security) to get through crowds quickly. That's no fun for fans, and I'm sure D&P wish it could be different, but conventions and security people are strict for good reason so both YouTubers and fans need to endure it and not make security people's jobs harder.

So cute. Them taking candid photos of each other is my shit. Still wearing black, but at least he's wearing a t-shirt instead of a jumper. :thumb: I can't talk shit, 99% of my closet is black and the remaining 1% is grey or dark blue.

Also holy shit, and I'm complaining about 26 degrees Celcius over here on Thursday... How the hell does one even do anything in 43 degrees??

dizzy but your weather is dry so you can still walk around and not die (though I learn personally how easily you get sunstroke as you don't realised how hot it is), hot humid just feel like you are a walking puddle

Seconding this. Humidity plus high temp equal to suffocating to me.

Dan is so cute. Phil is so cute taking Dan's cute photo. And the givenchy bag make its appearance again. :D

I think that in summer we are at 36°C but I don't leave my house and inside we are at 30°C. And all I do is lay in the floor and don't move or I would melt. I've never been at 44°C tho and I thought I live in a really hot city. In winter we are at 17°C and I'm cold

Phil takes the best photos of Dan. Good side ... pfft! Phil always sees Dan's best side.

Humidity plus heat equals something insufferable. I could never handle living in the tropics, even though it gets to higher temperatures here.

Thanks to jellyfish and Ticia for the impromptu schooling. I do know what an Oxford comma is, but we rarely/never use it in my country, so I've come to see it as superfluous (though there are situations when it makes sentences clearer). I certainly don't mean to start a punctuation war, though I love the fact that a silly little comment of mine (and something not even related to ) was the catalyst for jellyfish to join IDB. Come for the punctuation; stay for two dorks without a regular upload schedule

I'm becoming like Dan and using 'we' all the time. Who am I referring to, really? I'm not sure.

It actually does get really humid here! The dry heat is around where Dan and Phil are now, I'm in the part of the country where the air feels like soup during the summer, comparatively.

I don't really see the black as a problem though seeing as they're probably not going to be outside much (even the AZ natives I know said they rarely leave their houses in weather like this).

I live in the tropics. The hottest temperature we had last summer (April - May here) was 37.5 degrees Celsius. :( But it's so hot and humid here that even without moving (doing Dan's browsing position) the heat causes us to sweat so much. :| You do not want to be in the tropics during summer. ;)

The picture: Dan looks so handsome and it's just a side profile and I just can't stop staring at it. (this also comes from a girl who's more attracted to Phil usually). Phil does take the best pictures of Dan!

I saw that too! My first thoughts were a blotchy sunburn or just irritated skin from the heat. But foundation makes sense too.

I know weather talk is boring but...
I can't even imagine how hot it's there at this point, I'm literally clawing my face off thinking about Dan in jeans with the heat. Here the highest temperature I've ever experienced was 34-35° and I almost died and could only wear an almost-non-existent dress.
I'm happily enjoying my first official day of winter here, even if we have been reaching the -5° for a week now.
I really hope the venue has good air-conditioning because I'm really worried about them performing a show in this heat and under all those lights and wearing their outfits  .
ps: Dan's face looks as relaxed as someone does when they finally get inside a car with a good air-conditioning after being in the heat outside for anything more than 2 minutes, lol.

Yup I remember that backlash and I also still stand by my feelings on it. Personally, I don't particularly agree with charging to meet anyone. As much as I'm sure the tatinof VIP goodie bag was nice, I'd personally rather not get that to be able to get a free meet and greet. I can totally see why people want to attend these events though as its a safe and routine way of meeting their idols, but I definitely begrudge the money aspect to it. I don't know if D&P make money from it, but I don't think they should charge as much. Like I said, it would be better to give no goodie bag/sweets and offer a free m&g, it could still be ticketed to make it safe and fair but why does it need to cost £100 - the venue is already paid for, as are the staff at the venue and the staff working for them. i mean, we could argue that it's because of the good seats in the venue, but I managed to get 2nd row tickets that weren't m&g and only paid half the price!

it's a cute pic... but... Dan's head/hair looks kinda massive but yeah I'm all for Dan wearing all black in every weather, stick to your branding. I have to deal with my friends nagging how I should wear something lighter coloured every damn summer so I'm siding with him on this one lol.

(Every time I hear about people living in countries that have +30-35c averages during summer I just go like wth y would anyone even decide to build something there, but then I remember I live high up in Northern Europe so I probs shouldn't say anything with our winters in mind. Still amazed how hot it gets somewhere though, 43c?? Wouldn't you just melt?)

I've been where it is 50+'C and I had to stay indoors and only go out in the evenings as I had nosebleeds :?

Remember one of the videos where they scroll down each others photos in their mobile phone and Phil's was a pic of some animal; I call it BS as I'm sure he has tons of Dan's candid photos instead.

I completely agree that M&G should not be as expensive as they are, and I'm really not sure who is in charge of pricing these things for D+P but it'd be interesting to find out why exactly they're so pricey, and where the money from them goes to.

Is there no merch at Phoenix? Juliet is already at Vidcon.

some venues provide their own team and the merch crew gets the day off, I remember (saw on twitter or something like this) it happening a few times during the tour but i'm not 100% sure, can anyone confirm this?

I got really confused by Cornelia's tweet, as I thought she'll be in Phoenix due to this tweet However now she is with Juliet, I think I guess she went early to help set up and then leaves for Vidcon.

I wonder if any of the tatinof merch crew (besides Martynelia) will help out with selling things at vidcon (assuming they're selling merch).

Juliet is there, I think they are renting one of the booth in vidcon; hence the need to go there early and set it up. Similar to playlist but vidcon booth tend to be larger. Hence the need to call the cavalry back to US i.e. Martyn

This pic made me laugh, its like Phil on a remote control pose Also Dan can't help himself 8-)
