About that scratch and sniff episode on the radio, I was always convinced that Dan and Phil faked the difficulty of it and Dan faked the fact he didn't recognize Phil and made a mistake to make it more interesting for the radio and to downplay the shipping element.
I mean I could believe they didn't recognize each other instantly if the choices presented had been harder but there were 2 women who were very clearly easy to eliminate and then Aled who has like no hair. Cmon now.

love radio show reminiscing. if they went back to doing weekly shows in Sept, or even some other project on radio, i would honestly be the happiest. they're just so good at live stuff now. i feel it's when they're at their most skilled, and when they're the most enjoyable to watch.

It's already 2am here AEST, on a Sunday night, other state timezones only a few hours behind.
I agree I always assume they move around night time plans to accommodate for company in the flat, or movie/dinner plans.

Bonus: that time Deppy won their radio award and were asleep on Grimmy's couch together the morning after~

Meh, nice to see him, but pretty boring overall. Best part was him being guilty about telling Dan not to bother with a doctor . I want to know if Dan just texted him 'lol i have pneumonia' or if he told him in person and how Phil reacted. Also liked hearing more about the tatinof doc and the editing process. And sigh, they haven't even filmed an Undertale yet, but that'll be the next gaming vid. smh. I guess those other things ('a game we've never played before') are indeed banked for when they're in Aus then. k.

Well that live show was just way too short. I enjoyed it though, even though it was a bit of a mess.
-Phil just promoting his boyfriend. Hoping the next dinof vid will be a good one, though Phil seems to think it is.
- Of course he ate two magnums today, lowkey jealous of that.
- I wanted a long live show, not a short one. I don’t care about your stupid BBQ Phil.
- Lots of ice cream talk, which he is apparently very passionate about.
- Some more knee/leg action.
- Frozen Phil, not a great face to freeze on.

LS was cute and appreciated...he was so very hyper...guess it was those two Magnums. I dunno, I almost wish he'd just canceled or re-scheduled it and gone on to his BBQ? But then we wouldn't have gotten this breezy, distracted Phil who let his guard down enough to ramble on about koala bears giving people chlamydia for five minutes before realizing where he was and show a bit of his critical eye when it comes to film. So while topic-wise it was a bit boring, his energy and relative candor made it worth the watch.

He didn't say much about it but it's about 116mins into this episode. Phil also references the pretty girl comment mermaid blood saying that was also Dev in that conversation but that bit doesn't seem to be clipped up anywhere. Although Dev did say he'd been talking about it on his own show before that so he might have made that comment then.

Such a disappointing liveshow

I'm sorry, but if you're in a hurry and don't feel like doing a liveshow, why even bother Phil? We got 30 minutes of a terribly distracted Phil, late because "he forgot his password" (right), awful internet connection, and the longest talk was about ice creams.

In case anyone missed it, these were the main ideas (so don't bother to spend thirty minutes of your life watching it):

1) He was going to a bbq. No mention of Dan, of course, because Phil now is the King of "I" (I do, I watched, I was, I visited, I played).

2) He told Dan his coughing was pretty normal, so he felt bad when Dan found out he had pneumonia. He doesn't like going to the doctor because he feels there are sicker people than him.

3) He had two magnums (aka expensive brand of ice creams), so past him would be excited because his mum never bought magnums.

4) There are tickets left for TATINOF Aus.

5) Started watching the Avatar anime. He also beat some random guy at Mario Kart.

6) He cringes when he thinks of that time when he met Snoop Dogg / Lion.

7) He doesn't like mushrooms, they taste like dirt. And he really is bad at pranking.
