I agree that they probably wouldn't announce something super big on a liveshow, I honestly think he's just gonna talk about instagram stories. perhaps a partnership with instagram or a sponsorship of some kind.

I also hope this isn't a one-time thing. It doesn't necessarily seem like their type of schtick, and I get that, but even if it's a thing where they post the equivalent of a single snap every three days, I would still be 120% on board.

I also don't think the liveshow will be about the book, but I won't be disappointed if I'm wrong. A liveshow seems a bit too casual/not a wide enough audience for something so official. I also get the idea that they may be down-playing it this time around, but that still sits a bit weird with me.

To preface, I don't see a problem with fanservice.
However, in my view posting about skyping with Phil, and having to buy more cereal because Phil ate his cereal, and asking Phil why he is not with him and then posting that online, is fanservice - because he knows they eat the domestic stuff up. It's 'kawaii', and phan related.
I'm not saying these things aren't a natural part of their life and routine, or that there is anything wrong with them doing fanservice.
I'm just wondering if they are partly doing it to promote the book?

Yup I agree with everything you said. He just posted stuff he knows the fandom will be interested in seeing, therefore downloading the app and making Instagram money, I mean lbr that's what he's been paid to do. Nothing wrong with it though, it's his job.

I think a lot of the things they do is to promote stuff they've got coming up. They know what they're doing, they're very smart and clever people (again this isn't meant in a bad way at all).

It was a couple of weeks ago, someone (I belive it was alittledizzy, but I may be wrong) casually found that they are releasing a new book on November 2016, named "Go Outside", which apparently would be the second part of TABINOF but focused only on the Tour. This would explain why Dan took group pictures on every Meet and Greet. To this day there is not much information besides the one that comes up on Google when you search the title, and it seems many links have disappeared (but you may still find some links).

Also, I would not be surprised at all if the snapchatting thing is to regain hype after the tour drought before this book is announced. Annoyed about the ls move though, I didn't have anything planned tonight and am at a friends tomorrow not entirely sure what he'll be talking about that had to wait 24 hours but Phil being back then could be a solid reason. Definitely don't think they'd drop something as huge as a book or tour in just a ls, so imo we'll either have an announcement video before then or it's something lower key.

I'm on the 'dan will probably do a solo liveshow tomorrow' team. Imo the wording of the tweet didn't imply at all that it was going to be a joint one, and they usually hype them up a bit/at least announce that they will do one together. Therefore I'm not convinced it will be about the book (maybe it's something way less exciting ).

However, I'm genuinely curious to see how they will handle the second book announcement. It’s going to be a delicate process. I can’t see them going the ‘this is our legacy’ route twice successfully, not even the most dedicated fans would buy it. But still, a YouTube video would make sense, only announcing it to 25k people on Younow or just tweeting when they have millions of subscribers doesn’t make much sense.

Also, I’m kinda sad to know they were not together up North, but they have spent literally like three months together 24/7, it can’t do them any harm to be apart for a few days.

Don't know how likely this is, but do you think there's any chance the announcement tomorrow could be in relation to the younow subscription? It would make sense as to why he'd announce it in a live show, and if him and Phil have managed to get a 'joint subscription' that could explain why he would wait until Phil's back? Idk

For them announcing the second book, I can only really saying something about it being a journey lots of the fans took together with them and something about how this is for "the fans more than it is for us" type deal. Because since the book is more than likely about the tour and adventures went on, it wouldn't actually be a this is our legacy thing. More along the lines of yeah we did this thing and many fans joined us on it every night. It's gonna be a cheesy video for sure when it comes out.
Also looks like Dan is making another internet support group.

Anywho, I wish the instagram stories would show up on their regular instagram so people without accounts can see them anytime without having to download the app, but I guess that's the point. Apparently someone said they remain up for 24 hrs? How long do snapchats stay up for?

I really think that tomorrow will be the European tour announcement, from Dan's 'finally' in his tweet. A ls would be an awful format to make that announcement so I do think the new dates will go up on the website, with an official announcement, at some point before the show tomorrow, but I still definitely think it'll be that.

Really enjoying the snapchat/instagram thing, I adore that they've seemingly been apart for like 4 days and are skyping through it also, the #dick with a heart (obvs actually about the ship but): yes Dan, we know.

Late and lost my first version of this post (it had so many timestamps *sobs*), but I really loved the Undertale video! Despite the kind of late upload time and dodgy editing, which was a shame. It seemed like they rushed the upload? The scattered bad/slow jumpcuts were one thing, but I can't believe they didn't catch the lift/elevator rephrase spider mentioned. Phil looked gorgeous in the whole video, I loved how into the puzzles he got, and definitely thought from the tone of his voice that the Papyrus/biceps thing was an attraction mention! I'm really excited and interested to be seeing more of that from Phil Also I got possibly overexcited when Dan referred to Toto as 'they' at 5:47 (the only timestamp I remember close enough to look up again, sorry but I do want to post within 24hrs of the vid!), so glad D&P are reading them as nb!

Laughed so hard at the game saying they're 'really into hot animals' too, they are never going to escape that. The tea conversation was cute, I loved Phil mocking Dan's inability to drink super hot tea, and I was amused by Phil looking kinda judgmental when Dan called him a loser and he was just like 'that was uncalled for'. (apparently this vid was all about Phil for me, idk!)

I'm sorry but I find the "corporations tweeting about phan" thing really cringey and unprofessional. Not only do they probably not actually give a shit and are just trying to appeal to the kidz with it, but … these are massive companies? they're on twitter for business reasons?
