Re: the LIMO - I wouldn't read too much into that. A car / sedan service (that assigns you a car and driver for a period of time) typically has nice cars, compared to traditional taxis or Ubers (that are usually a single ride.)

It's lovely to hear things like that, it does feel a tiny bit like validation.

I'm hoping for a joint live show, maybe not today but it's the perfect opportunity to announce Europe tour (come on guys, everyone is holding their breaths).

Those tweets are very interesting to hear more of what happened and how someone objectively perceived them. The way little is kept secret like this, though, I feel for the gift shop lady since she probably wouldn't have realised what she said is likely to be reported back and seen by so many people including possibly deps themselves. I guess if the staff had been asked not to let on about anything, that's another thing, also one of the girls said on twitter she was having doubts now she'd said it all. I'm still as interested as the next person to hear about it, though

Hope Phil's only got a mild thing, whatever it is, not surprising after all the work, flying and different timezones and weather they've been dealing with. Have a hot ribena and an early night, Phil oh gods, the teamug's codename... ;)

I'm starting to think Europe is not going to happen but at the same time, it has to happen right? I mean, I imagine when they perform tatinof for the last time they're going to say something about it, idk a tweet or something so, surely, Australia wasn't the last tour. I wonder wich cities they're going to go to in Europe

If EU TATINOF is happening, I sincerely hope it starts mid October - November, because if not air fares are going to be as high as my disappointment levels. "Europe" and "Worldwide" were tags on the #TATINOF USA Trailer in DINOF channel:

There are definitely some countries that they have a large following, so they should be able too, but I can't see them doing more then one, maybe two stops per country. So I guess it would depend on the cost of getting their set and people to the location. If it's too expensive they might not. That's why they ended up nixing New Zealand right?

In one liveshow Dan said something about never wanting to hear TATINOF in 2017, so maybe like Oct/Nov. Then it would be a year of touring and then over.

Europe won't be any more difficult than humping the set/kit all over N.America. ;)
I'm thinking major cities only for the EU though. Same as most touring productions over there. :)

I haven't actually thought about it that way, you're right it would be a little weird not making a fuss about The Last Show Ever™

At this point I personally already burried all hopes of TATINOF: Europe Edition (because of how close to the DAPGO release it'd get and what vortexofphan said about not wanting to drag TATINOF into 2017), but that makes me wonder again

would they be able to sell out venues in Europe? I know they're popular but could they sell out 2 or 3k venues? With the potential language divide and the niche aspect of the tour is it financially viable for them for them to do it?

With a little over two months till the documentary and TATINOF itself hit youtube red (and Dan making it sound like TATINOF live would be done before then) I suspect we'll know one way or the other if TATINOF Europe is happening fairly soon.

I mean unless they do end up touring after and Dan just didn't know what he was talking about in that ls where he made the comments about them not being a spoiler for anyone then the latest they could be hitting the road is like the very last week of October and if that's the case how much longer can the wait to announce it? It's only 8 weeks away now. They can't give much less notice then that can they? I think they announced the AUS tour around 8 weeks beforehand (although it was already leaked and a surprise to no one).

I think if they only did like one show per country they could sell out places like that. Travelling in europe is easy, fans from smaller countries would probably even travel to another country. Let's say they have a show in Cologne, people would probably come from the Netherlands/Belgium. It's not that far and there is so many bigger cities around. And afaik they have a huge following especially in northern europe.

I think the time crunch is the biggest issue. November is when DAPGO is coming out and Dan said that YoutubeRed stuff would be out a couple of weeks- a month before that. I'm guessing with their stance on spoilers if we don't hear something within the week, TATINOF Europe is not happening.

EDIT: (Although I kinda feel as though we've passed a reasonable timeframe, I'm allowing for Deppy's at times questionable organization).

In regards to Europe, I've said it before:
They'll need to do Europe before the documentary comes out which is before November because of #spoilers. We already know they're going to do the live show for stand up to cancer (17th October) and presenting the Teen Awards which is in September and will need some rehearsing for. To me this either means that Europe will be a very short tour, like a week or so or will be spaced out so they pop back and forwards. I was always convinced they'd do Europe but they are literally leaving it so last minute now I might be becoming a bit skeptical about it happening. I really hope they are though.

In regards to Phil not saying as much anymore:
I noticed this back when the USA tour happened. Dan always introduced them before the m&gs whilst Phil just stood and nodded and waved. Dan was also the instigator of conversations at the m&gs 'shall I take the photo/do you want us to sign that/do you want a selfie' whilst Phil just nodded (my friend did a m&gs in Australia and was disappointed that Phil was so quiet), and again at the end when they had finished the m&g, Dan always did the talking. Now I'm not saying this is because of Dan at all, maybe Phil likes taking a back seat during all of that. When I met them I was lucky enough that Phil was much chattier and instigated a lot more of the conversation than Dan but all of these times were before the tour. I'd like to meet them again and see if that's changed at all. It fascinates me a little how the dynamics work, and I've definitely noticed Phil seems quieter.

My stance on TATINOF Europe is that its gonna happen, but its gonna be a whistle-stop affair and those with beady eyes will see that it is rushed.

Reasoning for this being three-fold:

1) If it weren't happening, I'm sure they'd know by now and would have made that clear in liveshows pre-Aus to manage european expectations.

2) If it weren't happening, I feel you could be damn sure we'd be hearing about OMG LAST TATINOF EVER or WE'RE DONE or something... something (even a joint vid reflecting on it which would also intro the YTR thing and DAPGO?)

3) How late they're leaving it (see point 1) actually makes me think it is happening but they're having trouble ironing out the finer details. Surely not surprising given this will be the first and only leg of the tour which involves regularly moving to new countries (their brief stint in Canada notwithstanding) with all the complexities inherent in that

Do I want it to happen? Not really. Sorry europeans, I'm just so done with the bour. Make it stop.

Make. It. Stop.

I want and don't want EU tour, wan because I want all of you EU people to enjoy it, adn don't want because I'm tired of tatinof tours. We will see.

My suspicion is that Phil is better socially when caught off guard, because he actually is someone who enjoys speaking to people and having conversations but seems to lose his confidence when he's got too much time to overthink or its a slightly more detached situation. Dan is the opposite; he doesn't seem fond of the smaller scale encounters but he has a performance mode he can slip into more easily when he has time to prepare to do so and maybe psych himself up for it. Dan's also an overtalker when he's nervous, too, and Phil tends to just go quiet - another of the many ways they balance each other out nicely and make a good team.

Good point! I just wonder if they didn't make a big fuss about the end of the physical tour because they're going to make a fuss for the release of it on YT red and that's their conclusion for it

Also as a side note, I just wanna thank whoever (Trashqueen?) posted the noodlerella sexuality video since I may not have seen it otherwise and she really hit the nail on the head. I so appreciate what she said about expectations and how she said it, I really personally related to it, and tbh I think it couldn't apply more to present-day Dan and the way he's often perceived.

One of the times I met them was at a book signing, I was one of the last people to go through and Phil was much more engaged and chatty than Dan (who was robotic imo). In fact I would have said Phil had more confidence than Dan back then, with Dan being the less confident person just wanting to get the job done so to speak. That's why I find watching them fascinating, I can personally see a shift in the dynamics from the times I've met them and watching m&g videos. I would be interested to meet them again in a controlled environment to see if I get that impression irl.

That's interesting that you had such a different experience from other people. Do you have any idea/theories as to what might have caused the shift in their dynamics?
