Phil wasn't at home for sure when this was taken. If you up the brightness on your screen and look at the bottom of the screen, you can see a reflection of two tables and the one on the left has chopsticks on it, which makes me think the photo was taken a few days ago at a restaurant or something.
i have way too much free time on my hands if I had time to notice all of that.

the body pillow reaction is not overwhelmingly surprising to me. There's a best buy (i think?) ad airing on TV right now, I don't know it word for word but this is the premise: the characters are two men, one shorter with worse hair and one taller and buffer. The taller one is like "don't you wanna get girls at school, you need these cool new gadgets" and he points out an anime body pillow the shorter guy owns and calls it "creepy" and the only line the shorter guy gets is that "it's anime" and the taller guy goes "and ana may never talk to you again if she sees it" so that just goes to show you that the popular opinion is that anime is weird or even "creepy" sad to see ads like this so intolerant of different opinions, likes, and cultures but whatever. Bottom line is I'm not surprised people don't like the body pillow.

Actually, after reading your comment LurkingTrash I went and found a photo of the TV setup in Phils room (honestly, thank God for Caspar and Hazel filming the other side of phil's room this year. That made the room set up easy to find.) and it looks like you're right! It is the angle that the photo is taken. What threw me off was that and the two sides that looked like two white tables, but that's really it's just the lighting from the room in back of the tv.
Oh well, it was fun to actually try and debunk something even though it was nothing!

It is fun, I'm very impressed with the idea of brightening the image to look at it, I would never have thought about it. Honestly, the only thing that didn't make me 100% convinced of your theory was the size of the chopsticks, they looked a bit thin, it was only after googling for his room that I thought it might be the one there.

That would be great! I've only seen a few episodes online but it's a super cute show. I would love to work on the set for the sole purpose of eating leftovers.
That said, I'm not British so I can't say for sure, but I know its such a massive thing there, so I don't know if they'd be considered right/mainstream enough to host it. I think they'd be funny though, and they are a duo who enjoy baking and a good innuendo and obviously have hosting experience.

OT: This video is hilarious, why do I love him so much these days? I really like when he talks about his beginnings as a youtuber (like the one reacting to his old videos he did for 45mil subs). You can see that he's proud of what he's achieved but at the same time he manages to be really humble and non arrogant without resenting to self-depreciation humor like so many others

Anywaay, this is exactly what I've been thinking... These people's lives revolves around youtube and video making, why would it be strange to use it for private purposes as well. When you do something professionally that you love, you'll work on "stupid" things in your free time or use it to have fun with your friends/family (guess everybody working in creative areas as well will agree).
