I also had a look at upcoming animated TV series, and Trollhunters by Guillermo del Toro is due for release on Netflix by December 2016. It fits the bill for a series aimed at adults, non-human characters, plus the timeline seems right. It sounds like the sort of show that would easily allow for cameos.
It would be insanely cool if they did get a voice acting part for this.

I'm loving the talk of Phil's videos, but I don't have much to add.
When I discovered them in 2013, I liked the happy and upbeat tone of his videos, but when I discovered his old videos I loved him even more. His creepier and more "creative" ones are some of my favorites, but it would be weird for him to ever go back to that style.

Can someone with better knowledge of their handwriting take a stab at guessing who wrote which prompts? I know Phil's handwriting is rounder and neater than Dan's but I don't have a clue about Bryony or Wirrow

Off the current top, since we don't know when is tatinof gonna released on youtube red, i'm thinking it will be close to the time of the Dapgo's release, otherwise they are gonna lose the hype for dapgo. So end of oct or early nov is very likely. But that makes me wonder what's that "storm is coming in three weeks" gonna be.
Maybe the EU tour? Europe is a small place so they can easily tour 7 to 8 cities in 2-3 weeks, ending tatinof once and for all before November.

A bit late but all the discussion of Phil's content (thanks for that by the way, I can appreciate his new video a lot more now with your analysis ) made me go back and finally watch some more of his 2008/2009 AP videos, and I actually love them! I always avoided them because I find Dan's old stuff cringy af and supposed Phil's would be the same, but honestly? It's great.
I like how these vids don't seem outdated at all and are still fun to watch. And while you can clearly see how far Phil has come and changed in terms of his content, he still seems to be pretty much the same guy from back then. The way his humour works, the editing, the little comments, the creative ways of interacting with his fans, all that in essence is still there.
