That was a very enjoyable live show. He seemed really happy, which was nice.
Lots of Phil mentions, like seriously those two are almost joined at the hip.

I have no doubt he has stumble across yaoi related anime or manga, and the boy is sure enjoying it!

Didn't listen all of it as the one on tumblr didn't work for me. So eu is not an impossible thing? I won't hold my breath but

I love his ls, the majority of times I forget about his reccommendations but I like when he waffles.
I saw some small bits of the ls lately, but now it seems that in all dan's ls people request phil, does it happen also in phil's ones(for dan)? how does phil answer?
Hope they release some of the bts that they cut, come on we would have taken all of it

I like how he wants people to still ask them about tatinof,yes it's good to make people buy it but when we know how much they worked for it you see how much it means.
Also how he insisted that if you wanna buy any of their things then buy the song.

EDIT:yes, I felt bad when he wanted good questions regarding the tour and there were so few of them.

I think he meant it in a joking way regarding the show, not in general. Like he said two things he'd heard about the show and then talked about his own perception.

I felt like he reaaally wanted to answer interesting questions about Tatinof/the making-of though and there weren't any. He mentioned it a few times and in the end even said we could ask him about it in the following weeks, too.

Just coming in again to say that I don't think Dan has perfect pitch.

I think he means that he has good intonation (or relative pitch), which is similar but not the same. If I were to sing a random note, someone with perfect pitch would immediately know what note it was without having to look it up. A person is born with it. Someone with good intonation would be able to make a very good guess, but wouldn't intrinsically know. It's a skill that some naturally have more than others, but can be developed in everyone; although I think Dan has an unusual and impressive aptitude for it.

The main example I can think of is a Sims video where Dil is playing the violin and Dan says "nice C major scale" but it was a D major scale. A person with perfect would know that it was a D major scale, they wouldn't even have to think about it. The information would be in their brain in the same way that if I were to ask you what number comes after 2, you would know without thinking that the answer is 3.

Also I totally used to do the thing he did of writing notes above the music! It's bad practice but it works. I find that point interesting; this is anecdotal but all the people I know who have perfect pitch found reading sheet music very easy, because they could just be like 'this blob is this sound' in their heads.

I could be wrong and he might well have perfect pitch, but I think he's confused the terms. Also he's right, you should all go and listen to Chopin's Ballad No.1 in G minor because it's pretty.

No Dan we asked about you not Phil. Can't wait to see how many times he mentioned Phil in this LS.

I am not holding my breath for Eu Tatinof. They haven't mentioned it in ages and for Dan to randomly say, if we start talking about it there is a chance it is happening.
Does that mean it is happening or is it if they talk about it again then it Is happening?

So glad he finally answered a question about eurotatinof. He wasn't particularly clear on it but he didn't outrightly say no it wasn't happening. The hope is slightly revived

As an avid watcher of phil's ls, it doesnt happen as much as it does with dan, we rarely get the #getdan thing, sometimes the #scaredan is popular but it depends on the liveshow, i think it has a lot to do with the fact that dan cant stop talking about phil in his ls. like every 5 min we hear "phil this, phil that" its hard not to want phil to be in the show too, you start missing him.

Edit: also when there is a trend on #getdan phil most of the time doesnt acknowledge it (like phil does in anything he doesnt feel like talking about). I think dan secretly likes telling is that phil doesnt have time for us losers. what a stingy brat, not fair share some of that love!

That was a cute liveshow, coloured by the fluffy Totoro onesie and how flushed pink he was. The Hufflepuff sock reminded me of the socks he left at PJ's house, I think those were Gryffindor and Slytherin. Loved the way he pinged it across the room.

Sweet of him to still be accepting Tatinof questions. Tbh I couldn't think of anything to ask, but happy there'll be a few more clips coming, they clearly did a lot more in the US than they had time for in the doc. Loved hearing about the song lyrics, his demands paid off.

This was such a lovely liveshow, he was all over the place and he said 'we' and 'Phil' so many times, he sounds/feels happy too, it's nice. Had an amazing hour watching it all.
The flat was so dark behind him with the lights turned off I thought Phil wasn't home at first but then 5-10 minutes in I could hear noises coming from the other room. Doubted again about Phil being there when it was nearing 10 and I couldn't hear kitchen noises but then the whole pizza thing happened and I only have trash reactions to this.
The sock, such an amazing moment

I'm happy, even if we didn't get the joint liveshow (will we ever get another one? It's been so long, I miss them so much

)
I'm feeling slightly more hopeful for EU TATINOF, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys!
Can't relate with people saying that they're tired of TATINOF talk I'm proud of them and there are so many things I want answered, it's such a big thing for them to have accomplished I wanna hear every little detail about it.
edit: the thing he said about how we can calm down because there's no more big surprises coming this year(?): who does he think we are?

Fellow music nerd here. The term he keeps searching for is "playing by ear," not perfect pitch. Those with perfect pitch can sing or name the note on cue (and certainly would not have said B# ). I have relative pitch, and can name a note within a half step or step most of the time. My partner is much better, and is typically correct about 95% of the time. One of our favorite games to play is to think of a popular song and try to sing it by ear in its original key. That's why I was so stoked when I heard Dan sing All Star in the correct key not long ago!

As far as singing, I agree with most of your analysis, dezzawintz, but I tend to think he put Phil on the higher harmony at the end because he has a greater range in his chest voice (which is all they used on tiih) than Dan. Oh, and I really enjoyed your cover of Creep!

I thought Dan mentioning TATINOF Europe meant that there will be one, right?!?! i.e., they couldn't mention it before, but can now?!

Cute ls, though. Loved hearing the doorbell and Phil getting their dinner.

I've not caught up AT ALL but I have to go out so I just wanted to say quickly from the liveshow... we have more hashtagmovinggate fodder. From this liveshow we gleaned:

- he is for sure careful what he says about it, which was clearest to me in this liveshow compared to any other. He just kind of sits there giggling about it, clearly doesn't want to say too much.

- when someone suggested moving we got a (deserved) sarcastic 'THANKS' as in 'you think I haven't thought of that?' as in THEY'RE FUCKIN THINKING ABOUT IT ITS A REAL THING

- one of his only 2 requirements is air con. But Phil's the one with the air con unit in his room and Dan (with his moth phobia) supposedly what, sleeps with the windows open in stuffy London summer?
