The Sims video was rather enjoyable (mostly because the gaming channel was dead lately), though I wouldn't mind if Sims appeared less frequently on DAPG. It's the 30th episode, imagine if there were only 20 and we got a 10-episode series of a different game instead.
Is their idea of honeymoon a picnic in a park, pub crawl, romantic selfies at the balcony/woohoo away from home? I expected some crazy/exciting activities. They aren’t even trying to explore the game, just doing mundane things and trying to make them meaningful to Dil&Tabitha “history” by talking over. It works for them, I guess, because #bants, but that's not the best way to play the game. Can't believe they still haven't twitted the video.

I kinda missed them playing The Sims, we always get some nice domestic moments out of it which is what I'm here for.

As some of you know, I have knowledge of the inner layout of the Dolby Theatre.
When the 360 video was released, I got to get a real look at the inside of their dressing room and thusly could analyze which dressing room they were placed in.

There are approximately 25 dressing rooms in the Dolby, spread between 2 floors. The stage floor has 6 dressing rooms in the immediate vicinity of the stage, all super easy access.

I have drawn an immensely crude diagram of the stage floor and surrounding dressing rooms on a piece of cardboard I found in my room shut up.



The dressing rooms next to the elevator side, just down the ramp, appear to be where Deppy was.
Them in the left, and the room next to them filled with what appeared to be fan gifts.

This is odd.

The room labeled "Big Dressing Room" near where they were is literally about 20 ft from them, so it's not a "they chose it for distance" thing.
The room they are in is literally one of the smallest rooms in the entire venue. I literally had to move a table that was in there at one point during my show because the room was so small, a person in a wheelchair could not get clear access to the bathroom.
The big dressing room 20 ft from them is so big, it's got 2 mirrors, 3 couches, a piano, and like 8 chairs.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why they would choose to station in one of the smallest rooms there, with a spacious and comfortable room so close.
My only guess is that the room we're seeing is mearly a prepping room and they're using the big room for hanging out with friends and family before and/or after the show.

that was a weird selection of activities for a honeymoon. but i love that it ended with them literally sneaking into someone's giant house and having sex in someone's bed. now that's what i call marriage!

That was fun and a nice surprise, though it took me a few minutes to get into it, it did feel a bit flat at first. I loved the Friends reference from Phil, that's so old now it's funny when someone remembers it. My sims never end up that dirty, I don't know if I make them wash sooner or if it's cos I don't have any expansions yet.

I was shocked how rude they were to everyone sitting near either of them. The game is programmed for sims to do things like take chairs when there's a lot of people and not enough chairs, though not clever enough to use the chairs at the tables behind them. If that's how they really feel when they're out and about sometimes... hopefully not just for saying hi, they've always said they're okay with that. Also very on the "so married" comment when they were in sync. Yes, Phil.

Those jokes were all terrible, we're really humouring Phil to actually laugh at them, but he was cute. It was sweet how excited he was by the boarded-up cave too. Getting to level 10 in a skill can take ages, good luck with that.

So funny they just walked into another Sim family's house to woohoo. The Landgraabs have been the rich family since Sims 1, though I think they were just mentioned in a few job option dialogues and not playable until a Sims 2 expansion so I guess Phil wouldn't know much about them. I bet if they'd just gone down to the kitchen and helped themselves to hamburgers in the morning, they'd have been fine, but funny they got caught instead.

Interesting Dolby floor plan and theories about using a tiny dressing room instead of the big lavish one. Sounds plausible.

I wouldn't say I was shocked, but it was interesting to see how they interpreted the behaviour of other sims when they took their sims out together. Very suspicious and defensive lol and I couldn't help comparing it to seeing Deppy in other vlogger's vlogs; sitting in the corner together, generally just socialising with themselves and not wanting to mix with others very much.

The times I've met Dan (not m&g situations) he has definitely not been the loud shouty confident person he is on a video or in a controlled m&g environment but I've discussed that many times before so won't bore you all to death with it again.

I feel so self-conscious right now asking you that as I'm a new member, but could you please repeat something of what you've said on real life Dan? Are you saying he's more of a quiet person? Maybe I'm not the only one who's interested in that (somebody please join me so I don't feel so bad) Or maybe you can tell where I can find what I'm looking for. Any help would be so much appreciated!

I've got an impression that Dan, just like Phil, lives in two different universes simultaneously, so most of the time his thoughts are somewhere else. I feel he's extremely hard to get to know, like a clam

Off to watch the new sims video now. I felt so deppy deprived lately, and also I kinda miss all that tatinof buzz. I know a lot of you guys are sick of it, but I'm just sad it seems to be over

I'm not Emma, but we've been together most times we've met Deppy and have come to the same independent conclusion about Dan. I always find him so different in rl, he's very shy imo. Lovely, but very shy. And Phil always seems a lot more outgoing to me in rl than he is in videos, where he tends to speak quieter than Dan and often gets talked over lol. It's weird to me how in rl they seem the complete opposite to they do in videos.

so much Cora, i love hearing inside stuff like this, even if it doesnt mean anything, its still fun getting clues! Also I think either theory is believable but they also could have 'personal' items that they dont want shown by the camera (and so picked apart by phangirls us) so maybe they just decided to use that room for the video instead, like most of us think happened with the DITL Australia vid.

They kept getting SO MAD at any point where someone came within two feet of their sims. I wonder if this is how they feel about themselves and people trying to come up to them at various social events. The real reason why they're always hidden in a corner by themselves. The parallels are always amazing.

Same, i laughed when i saw them getting possessive of their sim couple, insert Dan saying 'Get away from my boyfriend' video. Also philip I know two other people that are in sync that are def married.

It's a bit OT and on-topic at the same time so I'm not really sure whether to put it under a spoiler or not.

But sometimes I find that a lot of anti-phans (those that vehemently deny against even the possibility of phan being real) are more condescending than the shippers, and it's a major reason why I tend to stray away from them and go to the shipping posts. Sure there are "demon phannies", but a majority of the shippers are actually quite respectful towards the shipping (i.e, they talk about it in their little corner of the internet and not direct it towards dan and phil). So I really hate it when antis go on a rampage and call the shippers names and degrade their intelligence. Honestly, a lot of people do flip flop (me included) about whether phan is real or not, but I truly think that the major reason I'm more shipper than agnostic is because of the lovely people I see (not meet cause I'm not good at making friends even within the community) that ship them and the absolute toxicity I see in the anti-blogs. There's only one anti-blog I liked so far that was fairly objective and not condescending.

I just don't get the way they're approaching the shipping. If they really want people to stop believing in phan, shouldn't they go about it in a way that's constructive (i.e. give proof, make objective discussions that doesn't talk down on others and instead explains their side), because their toxicity is actually off-putting and pushing others away who would have listened to them. Honestly I like seeing anti-proof as much as phan proof because it keeps me grounded, but recently I've been avoiding all the anti-proof because the people that spout it have "I'm-better-than-you" attitudes and they humiliate the shippers and call them names and that just rubs me the wrong way because one can disagree without being disagreeable and they are being very disagreeable. Same reason why I avoid phan blogs that do this too (those that don't do it in a jokey and ironic way).

Fyi, one of the anti-blogs that's quite popular actually talked bad about IDB, and it irritated me a lot. I try to avoid them but I can't when they're on the tags. I honestly think that IDB is one of the most respectful communities because even when we don't agree with each other over a lot of things we do try to not disrespect each other. The internet will be a whole lot nicer if this will spread over Tumblr and Twitter though.

P.s. To the antis: I know that you do lurk here. So please do take this into consideration. I get what you're trying to do, but it's actually not working and instead, it drives people away. I'm also not saying that we're better than you because at the end of the day, being better is just a societal construct anyway. What I'm saying is, please reassess how you do your "convincing" because your methods apparently do not help you reach your intended end and just brings about toxicity and becomes an avenue for humiliating and shaming others for their own beliefs. :/

I'm always surprised when people say that other YTers (especially ones D&P have spent relatively more time with than others) don't know if 'phan is real' or not. Whether they're together or not, it really makes no sense that most people wouldn't know. Whatever the situation, PJ knows. PJ is friends with Felix, with Dean Dobbs, Tomska. The entire UK crew is connected to each other by groups of friends and have been for years, they have shared histories before varied successes and goals split their trajectories. If there was something to know, word would have gotten around by 2016 my god. There's been an ongoing game of Telephone circulating since 2010 ("YTers gossip more than you do behind closed doors" and all). And if they don't KNOW (as in D&P are fully open with them about it in person), then they have an idea based on what they've heard from other people who may or may not know, or have a good idea based on better info and sources, and so on. Louise fucking knows whatever there is to know; how does it possibly make sense that she could not? If they're together, she knows that. If they're not together and/or dating others, she knows that.

So why would she call Dan an eligible bachelor?

1. Because that's what she knows him to be. A single guy.
2. Because she knows he's keeping his relationship (with whoever) private and is therefore assumed single by the countless fans that will read this article, she feels fine going along with that narrative (maybe even helpful for doing so)
3. Because Louise dgaf and is flirty as heck and has consistently over the years called Dan cute and therefore when asked essentially 'who do you like on YT', he's the first one that comes to mind.

People act like it's scandalous to crush on 'taken' people or say flirty things like we're living in the 50s and anybody gives a shit about propriety. oh hey guys don't forget to raise up your pinkies while drinking your tea and repressing all sexual thoughts because never forget they're immoral and untoward: #protip

Nobody talks about D&P's relationship status(es). So if it's hard to believe nobody has outed them as being together, it should also be hard to believe that nobody has outed them as being with other people. Or discuss setting them up because they're so lovely and ooh I've got just the friend for him... Why is it off the table? Because these people know they're together and that they don't want it out there. Oh, or "because it will upset the phangirls". There's also the fun conspiracy that YTers are afraid to tell the truth about D&P being single because it will bring the wrath of the overly invested phannies down upon them and how scary, ooh terrifying powerful teenagers on the internet can force every YT personality to censor themselves on one specific subject. Finally a domestic, funny and simply pleasant video I live for the Sims videos because we get to see a glimpse of how they might actually perceive certain situations irl. And I am aware that it's edited and not every reaction is genuine, but your personality will always influence how you react in a certain situation. For example, them being concerned about a stranger sitting next to Dil indicates jealousy (which we know is something Dan is suffering from). It's interesting.
Anyway, I just needed bad jokes from Phil (I'm always laughing my ass off, I'm so lame), domesticity and a lack of no homo

well, you weren't asking me, but when i met deppy at playlist dan used a verrrry soft voice with everyone! it could have been because most of the people looked on the brink of a fallout but it was still very different from his internet persona. something i said to him was (dont judge this i was panicking), when i asked if we could do the hand holding pose, "sorry my hands are kind of sweaty" and he sort of stuttered and said "it's alright mine are too" in like ? a really light tone. after i left i thought about it for a while necause i'm so used to him being loud or whatever. just my experience!

May I ask where you met them? Did you happen to meet them randomly on the street or something? Just curious
