Phil (and Dan for that matter) could have people following him who know him from the radio who aren't into YT however that doesn't explain why since leaving the radio his twitter following has continued to grow at like 3 times the speed of his YT subs.
And no offense to Phil but his twitter game ain't that strong. I'm pretty sure he literally only tweeted about breakfast foods for like 3 months at one point. I can't imagine anyone's following him because they just really enjoy his tweets even though they aren't into his YT videos.
Also as I found the stat that 1 in 6 Brits supposedly celebrate thanksgiving very questionable I decided to google for the source and from the Guardian;
Waitrose this week told the Guardian it estimates one in six Britons now celebrate Thanksgiving, a number that just seems to be going up and up. Sales of turkeys in November are up 95% on five years ago at Waitrose
So by the sounds of it literally a number plucked from thin air by a supermarket because turkey sales in November have risen. Basically it is a supermarket suggesting to people they want to start celebrating thanksgiving and better rush over and buy all those turkeys before they run out and for some reason it's been reported like it's news rather than a paid advertisement.

the girl that met them yesterday posted this on tumblr
obviously me being so so smart and not undestanding english i went and searched 'dainty antique'. i cant stop laughing since then. here is what google gave me
i will not continue my research. i can roll with that
http://phanofjack.tumblr.com/post/15342 ... ife-do-youAfter meeting Dan and Phil in real life, do you ship them?
I must say yes I do.. more than before actually. I mean they were just both walking along looking at the dainty antique shops and if that’s not a sweet coupley thing to do idk what is. I’m sure they forced each other to go outside and walk off their Jetlag haha. But still one or the other could’ve gone on their own. Seeing them irl, it’s hard to imagine they’re not together (imo) because they seem so content with each other and even more so in person. I can’t put my finger on why though ! Basically I got some strong couple vibes lmao

Not to spoil you fun danphil333 but I think she was saying the antique shops themselves were dainty not the antiques being sold in them. Cute little antique shops are all over major cities in the UK so I think it was the shops themselves she was referring to as dainty rather then the objects they were selling.

as for the twitter followers. i think its easier for people to follow someone on twitter rather than on youtube. just so they can keep track of them. i follow many youtubers i am not subscribed to. i just watch the videos that sounds interesting when they tweet about it.
i am sure connor franta has more twitter and instagram followers than subscribers for some reason
I follow Phil on twitter but I’m not subscribed to him – don’t murder me – on yt. I started following him a year or so ago after I’d stumbled upon the DITL in Japan. I didn’t become a fan then, I just thought Phil seemed pretty cool (wasn't impressed by Dan back then
), and also he had so many subscribers on twitter that it was intriguing - I thought I should jump on the bandwagon and follow him too. What a stupid reason, I know, but I had a feeling I might start watching him properly at some point, which I later (like 9 months later) did. I’m not subscribed to him on yt because every time he posts a video he writes a tweet with a link, so there’s no way I’ll miss something. Just thought I’d share. Apparently there’s a lot of people like me
P.S. Now I feel bad I don't follow them on yt, such a fake fan. I may subscribe one of these days though

Hi, I'm another one that follows them on Twitter but not on yt, I don't see the point of subscribing. On yt I only follow 3 channels, one is dapg ( but only because they were near 2 millions subs), and my philosophy is that if I remember about you I'll see your videos, if you were only someone that I liked for 2 weeks to later forget about, what's the point? I'll only feel bad when I unsubscribe. Between here and youtube homepage I manage to always know when my fave uploads something.
I'm also another that isn't excited for PINOF, I want my undertale marathon, the game itself is boring but I love how they play it.

I'm watching the DITL Japan vlog and was it ever confirmed if the bed was one double bed or two just closely next to each other. I'm only wondering because the shots of the bed look like it's just one in the room and not two close together.

I think it was confirmed that it was two single beds pushed together into a giant bedMoonPride wrote:I'm watching the DITL Japan vlog and was it ever confirmed if the bed was one double bed or two just closely next to each other. wasn't there a floor plan somewhere?

Not sure about the floor plan though it wouldn't surprise me if there was one. However I thought it was confirmed by a tweet from either Phil or Dan.000dia000 wrote:I think it was confirmed that it was two single beds pushed together into a giant bedMoonPride wrote:I'm watching the DITL Japan vlog and was it ever confirmed if the bed was one double bed or two just closely next to each other. Having been to Tokyo a few times I have never seen two beds that close together In all the hotels I have stayed in.SquishPhan wrote:Not sure about the floor plan though it wouldn't surprise me if there was one. Also it looks like one side of the bed cover is still perfectly tucked under the mattress. Maybe I am just reaching lol

It was just two beds close together. In the floor plan (which is somewhere on the internet) they were already close together but I think it seemed like D&P moved them closer.MoonPride wrote:I'm watching the DITL Japan vlog and was it ever confirmed if the bed was one double bed or two just closely next to each other. What's with the sudden burst of Instagram photos? I feel like the same thing happened last year, where all of a sudden we got an Instagram photo from at least one of them each/every other day for a few days.
Thanks for posting Phil's tweet.Catallena wrote:Phil said this about the bed situation (the comment he replied to is now deleted, probably due to people harassing them about daring to ask such a question)
There just seems to be no room inbetween the beds. When I stayed at the Hilton at Tokyo bay last year I had two beds but there was literally a huge space between them.
Why is everything such a mystery with them?

I remember from research/stalking the website that their hotel had the beds in all their double rooms really close though.MoonPride wrote:Thanks for posting Phil's tweet.Catallena wrote:Phil said this about the bed situation (the comment he replied to is now deleted, probably due to people harassing them about daring to ask such a question)

They certainly splashed some cash on that room though and the see through shower?!Catallena wrote:I remember from research/stalking the website that their hotel had the beds in all their double rooms really close though.MoonPride wrote:Thanks for posting Phil's tweet.Catallena wrote:Phil said this about the bed situation (the comment he replied to is now deleted, probably due to people harassing them about daring to ask such a question)

The Palace Hotel is pretty expensive and luxurious yeah, I'm refreshing my memory by stalking the site again I think they had Deluxe Room With Balcony which would be a about 400 pounds a night (just an ordinary vacay for bros am right?). The website has one picture of the twin bed option and those beds barely have a gap between them just like what we see in the DITL.MoonPride wrote:They certainly splashed some cash on that room though and the see through shower?!Catallena wrote:I remember from research/stalking the website that their hotel had the beds in all their double rooms really close though.MoonPride wrote:Thanks for posting Phil's tweet.Catallena wrote:Phil said this about the bed situation (the comment he replied to is now deleted, probably due to people harassing them about daring to ask such a question)

Dan used the wrong flag for Ireland. Someone I follow on twitter pointed it out.
I mean he was close though. I can see how he messed up on it. Both flags are really similar.
We're here, we're queer, we're filled with existential fear!

As much as I love my best friend I wouldn't spend £400 a night on a room even if she offered to pay halfCatallena wrote:The Palace Hotel is pretty expensive and luxurious yeah, I'm refreshing my memory by stalking the site again I think they had Deluxe Room With Balcony which would be a about 400 pounds a night (just an ordinary vacay for bros am right?).
