alright i hate to be That Guy who starts another hickeygate but....is there not blatently a hickey on phil's neck?

i can see no other explanation. i looked through tons of pictures/gifs of that side of phil's neck to see if it's something like the red patch that dan gets on his cheek from exertion/embarrassment but...nothing. it's not some shadow that's always there. here are some random pics/gifs of that side of his neck. and it's so clear! i'm surprised no one else has pointed it out.

actually, in this pic you linked it looks like he has the same or similar "bruise" on that side of his neck. here, i circled it
it might be only visible in a particular lighting, could be breakout/shaving trauma/breakout+shaving trauma. i mean, how desperately "look, i'm not single" do you have to be to not cover up a hickey before filming??

The "mark" in the picture you linked looks like a shadow to me. It's shadow-coloured (which the mark in the video isn't), and in a place that makes sense for a shadow to be with the lighting and the shape of human necks.

While I doubt that Phil would actually film a video with a hickey visible on his neck, we know that the redness isn't a permanent mark because it isn't there in the other images chloek88 linked. I think it's most likely to be irritation from shaving, but it does look suspiciously mouth-shaped, so who knows

The mark is probably just a skin irritation or else he would have covered it up. I don't think he would film with a giant hickey on his neck. I don't know what exactly the rebrand is going to be like but I doubt it will involve a 180 degree turn from Innocent Phil to openly displaying hickeys like this.

I found it interesting that Phil had to clear up Dan wasn't going to the wedding with him. I don't really follow this stuff on Twitter, did people bother him with questions about it there? But yeah, if it's a family wedding, of course Dan won't go. I guess that means it's just going to be the couple plus some close relatives.

I've heard a lot of "Why did he have to mention it?" but no one told me it was because of the chat. Being a casual fan can be hard sometimes. He also said it extremely casually, there was no emphasis to it. He just said that Dan wasn't going, that he was going with his family, then moved onto saying how awkward it would be talking to people he hasn't seen in years.

I noticed that as well and found it quite funny! There's something about seeing the "behind the scenes" aspect of it vs the performing aspect of it that's just so intriguing. We've seen several times accidental glimpses where they slipped out of performing mode and into casual-chilling mode, and the dynamic between jumping from low-key to high-key is just so INTERESTING.

I came here for my regular once-in-a-blue-moon appearance to post about this part in the video actually, thinking I was being sneaky and eagle-eyed, but nah.

I get the concern but, that somewhere is massive, the odds of someone walking around there just to find them are still pretty slim. That problem that happened didn't give away something big like say a landmark or a local shop, Just that area name. He should always check to make sure that's off but still, accidents happen. People are tweeting him to take the tweet down or something but he went offline, unfortunately. Hopefully he'll see what happened soon and take care of it.
