This is something I've been mulling over - apart from a more casual vibe - a lot of their touchiness lately seems really deliberate, as if they put a few of these moments into every video on purspose, after years of being careful with their interactions.
I just can't wrap my head around WHY they'd do this now and so heavily all of a sudden. Baiting to keep people invested/attract new viewers (or whatever shipbaiting is for idk) doesn't make any sense at this moment, with all the big projects and risks out of the way. I mean why would they try and start stirring the shipping pot now, after they basically achieved everything a youtuber can achieve and more and have the most loyal fanbase already?

The only other explanation I can think of is that they actually want to be seen this way now and made a conscious decision to. Sorry I can't lose the anymore. If in some way they turn out to be not together it will seriously break my brain.

I would guess that this was someone who is not a native English speaker, and what they probably meant was "why do you love doing peace signs?" or "why do you do peace signs so much?" and they didn't know how better to say it.

Maybe Dan thought they were a person with good English who was too excited/lazy to construct a proper sentence? I'd like to think he wouldn't want to openly mock someone who is honestly trying to make themselves understood in a second or third language.

I think his response drew my attention less because I believed him to be mocking them, and more because the overall meaning of their tweet, indecipherable by accident, includes 'peace' and 'love' and we've been seeing an awful lot of that (albeit with for the most part) this gamingmas. It's a stretch, but what I was getting at was maybe that Dan, being aware (I mean, it's extremely likely he is) of the positive reception to the increased intimacy in gayming-mas, was hinting that 'yes' = 'peace' and 'love' are themes atm in his life. (It's a reach admittedly; it just seems hard for me to accept that he randomly answered 'yes' as a joke without really thinking, given how much this boy seems to over-think).

I loved that video, totally agree with what people are saying about Phil, he's been great and he was wonderful in this one, I loved the vehement, anti-cynical Santa and reindeer defence.

I remembered I watched AP since late 2009/early 2010 and did not even bothered to check out DINOF, as I thought Dan will just be on AP's as guest cause he was his bf (did not understand the concept of collab then).
