6:04 - You can tell the moment Dan realizes what story Phil is about to tell. Phil does have "speak before thinking syndrome" though - reminds me of the confession roulette story where he gushes about the great holiday he took to the friend who couldn't go.
6:24 - I try to do timestamps before I read the forum so I'm not influenced by everyone else's opinion, but this time I didn't watch the video until later so I'd seen the responses. I actually expected to be annoyed by Dan's comments about it being easier to be a man, but it feels more like he's just acknowledging that men can't comprehend childbirth rather than it bein an insult.

6:49 - Dan makes a face when talking about male insemination. I have a lot of thoughts about this.

Thoughts on the party shade: I loved Dan saying that because you can tell that he was bothered by it more than Phil. Like maybe Phil is being polite and lovely but he didn't actually seem as bothered as Dan was. The fact that Dan got mad enough to speak about it on his behalf and call the people out really spoke to me in how he regards Phil and his privacy. He understood that to some extent, Phil was taken advantage of and exposed when he wasn't aware of being filmed. He was so annoyed that he was filmed without him knowing it and felt the need to express that and Phil's giggle was also telling because it showed that he was really pleased by Dan's protectiveness. Something interesting I always notice about their dynamic is that Dan is very protective over Phil, to a point where he will speak up for him in several occasions. It's like he understands Phil fully to know: when he's bothered by something, but less inclined to say something and will do it for him. (think i love you and your bird nose.

Yes! This! Dan is extremely protective of Phil. I also like that when Dan praises/encourages Phil, he really means it. You can see he cares a lot for Phil and is not afraid to maybe offend some people for Phil's sake . I think that to Dan, it's like only he can 'bully' Phil.

I think this is all best demonstrated by the golden "can Phil express an opinion?" moment at vidcon

I love that episode. The reason why I start watching DAPG is actually Dilmas (wasn't really into it before), so their sims video always will be my favourite. I love fondness aww when Dil is bottle feeding the baby and the 'thumbs up if you cry' comment. Haha. I find the Dab name to be predictable considering how many people suggested it on the comment of the previous sims video.

I live for fringeless Phil. He looks super hot and very attractive I wish Dan can share this side of Phil more often with us than keeping it all to himself. I really envy him. Love Dan shamelessly explaining him wearing his own merch to Flipside party

I was soooo rooting for Phil to win and feel devastated when he didn't. I don't have much to comment about the video except Dan throwing javelin and Phil doesn't know how to volleyball is so funny.

In the ls when Dan was talking about wondering why they were asked to go up the stage when they were not in the campaign that has youtubers' faces on buses and stations, do you sense he was salty about it? In the sense that "you want us to dance for you for free infront of this brand execs but you do not give us exposure like you did others".

That was salty!Dan in a nutshell. One thing I like about him is that in certain topics he does NOT mince his words. The YT wanted them to parade around like circus animals and hells yes Dan called their asses out for not giving them exposure like the others.

Same with Phil being blogged. I have to wonder if Dan figured Phil was "taken advantage of" because Dan wasn't there to put a stop to it/monitor the vlogging? I think the entire world knows how protective Dan is of Phil and that type of behavior Dan is definitely not a fan of.

I took that to mean he won't be back on younow until the 5th of January, not that he won't be back in London until then. I think he'll just take a break from younow for a few weeks, but I'm sure he'll be back in London by NYE as usual.

Yep Phil said he'd be back January 5th, which seems late given they usually spend NYE together In London. Ngl this gives me a little bit of hope that maybe they're both going to one of their parents for New Years this year? Generally loved the liveshow and the gaming video, and excited to hear that the pinof 8 bloopers will be soon! I'm totally swamped with life stuff and exam revision, so having a video to watch every night is a real treat even if I can barely keep up, thanks boys

Agreed, he was for sure talking about his next younow date as January fifth is a Thursday. The whole context of that part of the live show was that this was his last younow of the year and that he wouldn't be returning (to younow) till the new year. With the actual context given, I'm not really sure how it can be misinterpreted as anything but about younow?

I hope so because he has every right to be mad about it. They're two of the top UK Creators but they didn't get anything in return for their appearance, yet YouTube is cashing in on their name by parading them around brands. Stay shady YouTube, never stop burning your own website to the ground.

Totally agree The 'Can Phil express an opinion' moment has already been mentioned but Id also like to bring attention to something in What not to do at the Cinema as well. Dan says ~his friend Phil~ (oh 2012) doesn't like public conflict so he was gonna sit somewhere else when the seats they had booked were taken, while Dan had no problem kicking people out of their seats.

IDK, I think whatever happened to the recommendation function is probably for the good of the platform. I mean, the big/established YouTubers had an advantage over the newcomers trying to break into the medium by having their videos promoted / featured more prominently over lesser known creators. Now it appears that the newbies have a slightly better chance of being seen. TBH, I think some creators / YouTube Royalty (tbc I'm not including D&P in this shade) have revealed who they really are - businessmen who want to have an advantage over their competitors. As for as "ding the bell," I've always have enabled notifications (mainly because I organize *everything* using email) so I know when my favorites posts something new.

I can see how whoever made the calls to invite the boys to the event was so far down the food chain that they didn't even know what all was going to happen at the event. And the person was probably rushing about (everybody is always rushing in the entertainment business) and left out some critical details. But to feature D&P in event and not give equal exposure in the promotion of said event was a blatant oversight, and YouTube should apologize for the transgression.

The sims video was alright, but I do think it was kinda boring until the baby actually came. But I watched it at 11 o' clock at night while doing history homework, it was good background noise.

I finally got around to watching the kinect sports video, I really liked it! It was cute and very enjoyable, I watched it twice! Their christmas headgear I LIVE for...but I agree that Phil should have won, lmao.
