Really? I actually got the impression that most people, if not everybody, had interpreted it the first way. At least, I did idk. The fact that he's talking not only to Phil but also everyone in the phandom/all his twitter followers would definitely indicate that "our" means 'Dan and all Phil's subscribers', not just 'Dan and Phil'.

Everyone's tweets to Phil were so lovely, it really does seem that he's very well loved by his family and the youtube community, warms my heart

Someone earlier mentioned how young Dan looked when he had his wide-ass butt (and I mean wide-ass butt in the most complementary way possible) stuck in the NASA rocket ride. I have to disagree - he totally looks his age / 25. I needed some background noise while working, and ran across Dan's LS from Jan 18 2014. There he looks young, but also more or less appropriate for 22. He still had the skinny adolescent face and body thing going, which is noticeably different from today's chubby squishy cheeks and, ummm, "fuller" physique. Anyway, what somewhat surprised me was he seemed more excited / cheerful? than he does today? IDK... And definitely still in the *nohomo* phase judging by his reactions to Dressage and someone's brother's comment that he looked "hot (or something to that effect.")
I think people think Dan looks so young in that picture because it is so easy to forget he's only 25. He does look pretty much his age (although he does have a baby face) but it's easy to forget he's that young with his successful career, constantly being associated and compared to Phil who is 30 (not a huge age gap but the difference between 25 and 30 is a lot maturity wise), and his growth as a person makes him come across as mature. Sure he has his moments of immaturity, but Dan holds himself together to the public EXTREMELY well for someone who got big in their early 20's. He doesn't get enough credit for that. He seemed to have trouble dealing with it at first, and still does, but he's doing a great job and staying humble that young is a huge accomplishment.

Regarding the possible collab between Phil and PJ... it has never occurred to me but I absolutely LOVE that idea and I think together they have the capacity to make an extremely high quality show that could even appeal to mainstream media. I NEED that to happen. Phil and PJ both have a lot of actual knowledge in production so I think it would be so cool for them to make an awesome mature project that shows how talented youtubers can be. I would LOVE to see what they would create. I'm imagining an almost Twin Peaks-y show and I LOVE IT.

I really enjoy PJ's work as well, so the idea of him and Phil working together for some sort of larger project is really exciting. I'm not sure that's in the works, though, since PJ already seems to have something big on the go. He's mentioned it in his most recent video(s?), and I got the impression it might involve other Revelmode creators, so would he have time to work on anything with Phil?

Of course, I could be misunderstanding, and if not, we can certainly dream. :D

Huh. I actually thought he was referring to friends and family (a.k.a. the group of people who actually know Phil personally) but now it seems to make more sense for him to be referring to their group of followers since his tweet is public and pretty much for their followers.

I think that could definitely be right too! 'Our' probably just means everybody who knows Phil in some way, as in Phil has that effect on everybody maybe? So that would definitely include the people who actually know Phil personally - after all Dan was including himself in that 'our' and he definitely knows Phil personally. But yeah, I also think it was definitely meant to include Phil's subscribers/followers as well. I have no idea why I'm analysing a tweet so deeply haha

Yeah I was just hopelessly fantasizing about that collab, there was no basis unfortunately. Although I'd love to see Phil do a TV or movie project like I described solo too. I'd be really stressed if it flopped like every other YouTubers mainstream media endeavor because I really like Phil as a person, but I'd also be confident in his abilities. I'd be really sad for him if it didn't turn out because a lot of stuff that can go wrong is out of the creator's hands in a lot of ways, but if anyone could do it, it'd be him!!

Puberty is coming in stages for Dan. He filled out and got taller, but it stopped there. Even he's still waiting for facial hair. Yes, he has his baby face (the dimples don't help) but his hands are huge. I don't think he's fat, it's like his bones had one more growth spurt to fill him out. I look at pictures of twink!Dan and compare them to current pictures and sometimes it's hard to tell they are the same person.

It's oqua's birthday!

And here is a celebratory gif that starts out with Dan's nose profile and ends with him judging you for being one step further into your twenties, and one step closer to actual middle aged nose pervert:

A belated very to Phil and Poe and a to Oqua!

Party on IDB~*

I'm still going full , because Dan and Phil both noted pre-filming a bunch of videos, none of which are out yet. So, unless otherwise proven, I'm waiting for them to take off for Japan (or some other unknown vacation location) very soon.

I know this is like way off-topic but i was just looking through Instagram and I decided to do a cheeky search of dan's brother and I found a bunch of fan accounts dedicated to him with loads of pictures of him . Is this just a thing that has been happening for a while or really recent? I just find it really confusing how there are really up to date fan accounts for him. Don't even know how they got half of the pictures. Sorry if I seem really out of the loop.

Cheeky gaming video. Gamingmas spoiled me, every gaming video I expect another 23 to follow it :(

Great video though, loving Dan's curly hair

Yeah, the Phandom's obsession with his brother seems to have received a resurgence lately. I saw aa lot of drama on Twitter about it lately. I wish people would just stop, but I don't expect it to anytime soon :sideeye:

Well the new vid was an interesting one. I enjoyed it yet I am also slightly disturbed by it.
This time the end bubbles are: dadisnotonfire and amazingbaby.

Wasn't expecting to get another gaming vid so soon. It seems like we might get regular content and I'm all for it. :D

I had a dream last night (and I have never dreamed about D&P before in my life!) that Dan completely Beyonced a secret pregnant girlfriend and put out a video without warning one day called 'dadisnotonfire' to announce it HOW WEIRD.

I'm fascinated by this look/smile/laugh Phil gives Dan at 13:56. It almost seems like he's just checking in to see Dan's reaction to what he just said, but not in that way like he does when he's expecting Dan to laugh, exactly.

That was simply hilarious  Didn't expect I'd ever see a video in which Dan and Phil call each other "daddy" and "baby". This video reminded me of how annoying children are. I know it's not a realistic simulator but having a child must be hell on earth. At least for me

I really hope we are getting regular content, it seems like it!

I caught that moment too- it was almost a "knowing" look- like they had an understanding about the topic or like they both had this conversation before

Their anti-child sentiments felt very strange, considering that they, Dan in particular, have melted under the gaze of children before, and in the last video they've done, no less, oo-ed and ahhed at a virtual toddler.

This may be the just the horrific demon-baby subject matter, but it feels in tow with rather nohomo tones and comments they used to do in the past, except now it's less alienating considering they're both saying this while giving each other the gooey eyes that suggest quite the opposite.

When they say "let's never have kids" it feels more like a question, that is suggested and then hangs in the air between them as they give each other knowing looks.

The togetherness of the statement definitely hits me harder than the content of it. It's just like them constantly wanting a dog but then clarifying (individually) why they aren't ready for a dog right now.

All I can think is how far Phil specifically has come from the days of vague 'my future wife' comments to now where the only dancing around the topic he does at all involves killing fake wife rumors with a shocking gusto and in flirty cute video moments with Dan.

I kind of didn't take it as no homo? I LOVE kids and when I'm babysitting or in general I'll coo at babies and talk about wanting kids all the time. Then when I logically think of how hard raising a kid is/see actual demon children at the grocery store it makes me say things like "oh my God I'm never having kids." And stuff like that. I love babies but I definitely have frequent reality checks that make me say stuff like Deppy did. Also they could've just been saying it for entertainment. They were giving each other weird looks I couldn't read too. I think "LET'S never have kids" isn't very no homo because "let us" suggests they'll not be or be having kids together as a unit, not necessarily but that's the vibe I got. Then again I got phan-laser eye surgery from Phil's 30th birthday celebration so I'm probably unreliable lol

Oops alittledizzy beat me to it

For clarification, I didn't mean my post as a sort of anti-phan, but rather how certain statements they made could have BEEN anti-phan, only if they didn't act how they did in the video.

not the most entertaining video, but all the anti-children sentiment in the video was music to my ears. :yippee: now let's age dab up to a teenager too and we're good.

[offtopic]liking babies and actually wanting babies are different things. you might like being around babies, but the older you get and the more you understand what parenting is about, the less you might feel like having one yourself, it happens![/offtopic]
