I loved this video and laughed aloud almost throughout the whole thing. It was hilarious hearing them repeatedly call each other 'baby/child' or 'dad/daddy' to stay in character (especially Phil, Dan has never really held himself back )

It warms my heart to see them make no attempts in justifying what 'we' or 'us' means anymore. I agree with the liking babies =/= wanting babies convo, I certainly feel the same way. But dogs, babies and moving being even a part of the discussion they share with us is a huge step away from a no-homo direction so

Dan's tweet about the upcoming dinof also makes me excited, so glad for all the consistent and happy content so far this year

Edit: I wanted to add one of my bigger concerns I have when watching them, I think Phil is going to go deaf at a very early age as a result of the screaming mess he is perpetually in close quarters to.

I think this is the most accurate description of Dan I have ever come across. I also laughed until tears came.

There never was a video, I believe because there apparently weren't enough bloopers.

It says in tabinof that Phil accidentally destroyed like 20 minutes of pinof5 blooper footage by dropping the sd card in a glass of milk. I'm writing this from memory so please excuse minor inaccuracies.

The first month of 2017 has been fan-tas-tic. All this domesticity and baby talk and cheeriness. They’re off to the races, really truly. What I’m looking forward to in the rest of the year (and/or beyond):

- Phil’s creative project(s). What is he cooking up in that museum of mastermind oddities?

- Byronic pianist Daniel rising, heck yes. Boy, we’re not cheering because we think you’re Tori Amos all of a sudden, we’re cheering because we like you and you’re returning to something that you love after a long time and we’re happy for you about that. And rain down on those curls, Mother Nature, you’re doing a fabulous job

- Should more rumors like p**ngate emerge, them letting them roll off their backs in their own creative and hilarious ways (especially you, Philly).

- Baby Dab growing up. The teen years are bound to bring some hilarity our ways. Will he get that "evil" trait and rebel? Will he take after Tabs (ahemandhispoppopphilahem) and be playful and sweet? Will he bring home a special editing pal of his own?

- The results of the gaming vid survey. I wonder if they got anything usable from it? At the very least, there will probably be at least one “I can’t believe they actually friggin’ went there” vid

I also had a thought this morning (mainly in light of the new gaming vid) about the whole phan is real versus #justbrothings. A lot of us joke sometimes about their behavior and how it’s the complete opposite of "bro." But what if it weren’t? What if part of 2017 Deps is embracing a bit more bro-y ness BUT in their own way, a way that doesn’t counter phan but actually makes it more prominent (hence the more relaxed approach that they seem to have these days in their vids and in talking about one another). It's the difference between having a conversation with bro-ness/admitting to it to some degree and considering it so far removed from the majority of their own behavior that it's imply ridiculous to attribute it to themselves. Because if they want to be a bit more bro-y and pull in more of a different demographic alongside their current one (not to denigrate the current majority but to welcome some new members into the fold) and at the same time, be more natural in their interactions with one another that don’t quite fit squarely in either “friendship” or “romance”…more power to ‘em. I could be way off base here…but it’s a thought I’ll be entertaining more from now on.

This isn't meant to sound like criticism of you, vincentian, because you're totally entitled to style preferences when it comes to their videos, just as everyone else is. But I want to point out that this comment shows how they can never win.

If they do the kind of video where neither of them super into the gameplay so they just act like kids who had sugar rush and force it, some people complain that they want Dan and Phil playing games they enjoy and being authentic.

If they play a game they seem genuinely amused by but don't over-exaggerate anything, just react naturally as they play - it comes off as 'meh' and 'not making effort'.

It probably comes down to the difference in people who want to watch a gaming video and expect them to act like youtuber gamers, and people who want to watch Dan and Phil be Dan and Phil. Personally I could watch them interact on this less bant-y/more natural conversation level endlessly, so I definitely hope they do more games like this. It felt like there was so much stuff to enjoy and unpack between them and so many remarks they make that I'm still distracted thinking about, but that comes from me liking them as people/their dynamic over the content they make.

I agree, dizzy, that there is this duality because of which it looks that they can't win. I prefer genuine Dan and Phil just as most people, but also expect some improvised comedy stuff (which I see as effort), so if they are just sitting there reacting, the video seems a bit lazy, regardless of the number of cute moments in it. Which is probably specific and unjustified expectation.

Late to the party because I'm still sick and didn't feel like posting but I loved the Who's Your Daddy video. I laughed out loud plenty of times, both at them and and how completely ridiculous the game was. Plenty of daady king fanservice, but at the same time they felt very relaxed. My eardrums weren't though, @ Dan ma boy you're gonna wreck your fucking vocal cords one of these days.

The one side of Dan's hair (the one of Phil's side) looks kinda terrible though.. I adore the curly hair but I still don't think this particular haircut suits it. That side in particular looked flat as if he just woke up from a nap where he slept on it and couldn't be bothered fixing it after he woke up :') /shallow

I'm almost emotional over this. Without concern, Dan and Phil confirmed Dan would be with the Lesters for Phil's birthday week(?) and now they've essentially admitted to an adorable little family triple date along the sea. My heart is bursting.
