i find it very offensive even for shane. i expect him to come up with celeb conspiracies but not ones from fellow youtubers. he clearly searched through 'proof' and got the lightest ones to stay on their good side as Philena said. there's more convincing proof closer to the surface if you go looking for it, he dove deep and chose carefully. exposing 2009 tweets/formsprings to a large audience was so low and disrespectful.
and to top it off he ended with him saying he believes they're fucking with us aka queerbaiting. nice one
I'm not even surprised about this, but it still annoyed me he did this. Also feel that if he is going there, then actually go there and put out proof and support for your theory, and don't half-arse it.

Yes, but even that could have been achieved in a better way! Know what I mean? It was all put together so carefully, yet the end result was so stupid.
For those who cannot be bothered to watch: Shane said there is a conspiracy that Dan and Phil are danandphil, provided a couple of old tweets (Uma Thurman and Interrupted by Fireworks), then showed a yt vid of someone showing deppy looking like they might possibly have been kissing during the Five Nights at Freddy's vid. Shane's conclusion: they're fucking with us. My conclusion: Shane is fucking with us.

wow, that's gonna spread around pretty quickly. another 'theory'. im hoping that if d&p know about it or hear about it, they don't watch it because that's really gross. definitely done for the views, he knows that the phandom will be all over a mention of them. makes me feel so uncomfortable.

I just wanted to say that: Shane didn't even researched anything, everything was taken from Michelle Platti's video. I thought her video was such a mess, honestly that edit of them "kissing" cracks me up every time... but hearing everything again coming from Shane's mouth made everything 10 times worse. I know he isn't the most politically correct person on the Internet, but I thought he would be a bit more respectful to his peers.
But then again, he didn't make his research he doesn't know why showing a screeshot from a 2009 tweet may be wrong/disrespectful.

That Shane thing is so disrespectful, but I am not even surprised. From what I've heard, he's disgusting like that. Thanks for transcribing it though! I am glad I didn't watch the video, but it probably doesn't make a difference because the Phandom will be all over it. I think Shane will only benefit from it. Unless he ever wants to be friends with Dan and Phil, I think he blew that chance for good. Not that he would have had much of a chance before.
On a more positive (well, not really) note: Phil's video. Damn, I was laughing so hard and felt so sorry for him at the same time. Jeez, I would have died I already imagined it would have something to do with vomiting when he mentioned that it would be gross, but him swallowing his own vomit - wow. And that was still the best thing he could have done. Well, actually the best thing would have been to never even lift the tire and just explain what he was there for from the beginning, but that's not how awkward people react to those things, I know that from experience.
I am so glad I am not very sensitive when it comes to those things. Unless you present actual vomit to me, I am fine.
