I thought the video was at an average level of funny, and then that picture of Yuuma kicking the robber came up and Dan said "Eat my ass, robber!" and honestly I had to pause I was laughing so hard.

As for the video, I loved My Horse Prince! The game is super cringey and I really love that self-aware sense of humor. It reminds me of Kung Pow: Enter the Fist and Cry Baby, two of the most cringey films of all time, and I love them dearly. I feel like people really didn't understand that appeal and they made Dan feel like he had to over-explain that his interest in the game was ironic. That makes me a bit sad. But as a whole I really enjoyed the series. Happy with how it ended.

I didn't know this was a reoccuring thing, but I saw something like that a few days ago on Phil's last video. The account was impersonating Phil and it said to type something into Google, so I did and only one link showed up and it went to something that was clearly some sort of scam. Even weirder, it had 50+ likes.

They're spam bots, definitely. For some reason, pretty much every popular YouTuber has them in the comments section as of late. Not sure when that happened, really. They might be upvoted by bots as well, or perhaps people who didn't check if it was their verified channel.

I actually laughed quite a bit at this video, despite Horse Prince not being quite my jam. The game is absurd enough to be funny sometimes (I quite like the way the fourth wall is treated) and their reactions were pretty great. I don't think I'll rewatch this though, since when you know what's coming, it's not nearly as entertaining. I also felt the video was pretty rushed, but actually worked out better than the previous two that were more drawn out. I think it's just 'cause I read so much faster than they were speaking in the first two, so the gameplay got tedious fast.

Has anyone actually actually downloaded the game out of morbid curiosity and know how much those golden carrots cost? I'm interested in just how much money they threw at this thing heh

Those are just spam accounts with names that look similar, and I assume the upvotes are from other fake accounts. They aren't an inside joke or anything, that type of spam is all over the popular YTers' vids.

I'm curious enough that I went and downloaded this abomination (the Google reviews are a+++ if anyone wants a laugh, by the way). For me (US dollars I think? Although I'm in Canada, so I'm not really sure) double points is $2.89 and delete ads and carrots x5 are both $1.39. I think they had to use more than one carrot per mini-game, so...overall about 20 pounds? Not too bad haha

v true. i mean, they probably made that back within an hour of it being uploaded tbh, so it was worth it so they didn't have the inconvenience. i know a friend who used to play it (before the first episode) and she told me race day took ages, bc if you don't have the boosts you basically just have to wait half an hour in between - i'm pretty certain they'd rather film. the whole vid and pay for the extras than wait and waste time (besides, it's not like they can't afford it)

Well I thought that was hilarious, Phil was slaying me the entire time and I had to pause a bunch to compose myself from laughing. I love whenever they deadpan "it's a HORSE Susan", it reminds me about how absurd the concept of the game is and then I lose it all over again.

After someone on here said this was a romantic way to look at it, I googled the phrase "throngs of passion" and found out it's actually "throes of passion". Throngs are multitudes of people.
