Dan's instagram pic is so lovely! Definitely agree though that it was probably taken a day or so ago since he's wearing the same t-shirt that he's wearing in Cornelia's instagram - I feel like he's probably been back in London for at least a day now. It's cute though that he spent a few days with Phil + the Lester fam before returning home
re: misogyny - As far as I'm concerned, Dan and Phil are both men so are definitely going to slip up at times and do/say things that could be considered sexist/misogynistic. I don't personally find their treatment of Tabitha troublesome - they created Dil from scratch so probably feel more attached to him than Tabitha, and Dab is a child so I presume they would focus on him regardless of gender. But I do think that as fans, people are entitled to critique Dan and Phil when they do/say something that could be perceived as sexist/racist etc, and it's good to open up discussions about these kind of things.

I wouldn't worry about it tbh - those spam accounts pop up in the comment section of most popular youtubers and, aside from being mildly annoying, they don't really cause any harm. I think it's best to just ignore them, as far as I'm aware most people recognise that they're spam accounts and the likes on those comments are probably from other spam bots as well, so I don't think it's really worth it to bother reporting themthrowaway wrote:[offtopic]Going back to that spam account situation: could we all try to report those spam accounts please?[/offtopic]
Hi guys! Long time lurker... I was debating posting but I had this idea in my mind that I couldn't shake... so here we go
I might have an idea of why Dan went to the Bahamas...
I see from the picture he tweeted that he entered the country with a visa class P-1 that was valid until May 10
I understand that if you want to stay in the country for other pourposes (vacation) after the deadline (May 10), you'd have to exit the country and re enter to change that status. If citizens from your country require a visa then you'll have to re enter with a B2 class visa (which I think is for tourism), if your country doesn't require a visa (I think citizens from the UK don't but I might be wrong) then you just need to re enter and get a new admission stamp with a different class.
Maybe that's why he got a flight to the nearest or most convenient location, stayed for two hours and then flew back. That doesn't explain why Phil stayed, maybe Dan wasn't planning on staying and that's why he got the visa until May 10 but then changed his mind and Phil planned ahead and got the visa to expire at a later date.
I don't know... why do you think?
Sorry if I got the quote or links wrong... I'm old

The P1 visa is applicable to aliens entering the United States to perform as a member of a foreign based entertainment group that has been recognized internationally as outstanding in the discipline for a sustained and substantial duration of time.

from dan's instagram it's clear that he's leaving/left miami but not necessarily florida. i know people have mentioned that he might have gone home earlier in the week but that doesn't make sense to me. i could see dan being vague/ambiguous about his plans after playlist/whether or not he was going to stay with phil's family after playlist for the vacation, i could see him maybe not posting anything at all that would indicate he was there with them, and at this point in 2017 i can see him posting about being in florida, knowing that we all know he's with the lester's, but i really can't see him going home and posting things that would make people think he's still there, on holiday with phil and his family. if he's left florida and gone back to london i think it would be yesterday at the earliest. plus, his instagram post today was posted pretty late if he's home.

Brilliant Asky160! That makes a lot of sense! Fingers crossed that we get some more Florida posts from Dan this weekend to confirm. Goodness that boy is so extra. Flying to the Bahamas and back because he was fickle about his plans. Bless him.

The sleuthing on this forum omg. Well done Asky160!
I totally buy Dan being iffy about whether he was going to stay in America with the Lesters, or go back home to have some introvert recharge time, so this theory makes total sense to me. You may have just solved the Bahamas mystery, though there's no proof I totally believe it because it fits so well.
I suppose if this theory is true, he could still go back to London before the Lesters, it just means that he wanted to stay past the 10th of May. Though leaving the country and coming back in would be pretty excessive for the sake of a couple days. Then again it is Dan.

I'd rather believe that its all misdirection and Dan and the Lesters went on a cruise to the Bahamas, leaving from Miami. I might even go so far as to wish that the cheeky little trip was somehow involved ( wedding prep?)

also i love that all the others filmed themselves pretty much while phil filmed dan standing in the shower. what.

Re: The Horse Prince finale
I was definitely one of the people who was dreading this video, but I ended up loving it! Tbh, while I enjoyed the bants in the previous MHP episodes, the green onion thing borderline freaked me the fuck out. (That said, Dan's, uh, interesting pantomime this time made it all worth it for me.) I was laughing so hard the neighbors probably thought I was nuts (and they'd be correct). I enjoyed reading everyone's comments over here and I wanted to share some of my favorite bits below.

Sounds like good ol Daniel is purposefully trying to sound vague with that caption. Just 'goodbye Miami" not necessarily a goodbye to Florida, so he could still be with the Lesters. I'm betting he is home now though. He is wearing that same shirt from Cornelia's photo so it's safe to say that it's a couple days old.
This theory actually would make a lot of sense! Dan originally didn't plan to stay as long as he has and I could see him changing his mind and wanting to spend more time with his family in Florida. The Bahamas would definitely be the closest, quickest place to go! If he is still with them, I could still see him coming home before Phil.Asky160 wrote:I understand that if you want to stay in the country for other pourposes (vacation) after the deadline (May 10), you'd have to exit the country and re enter to change that status. I'm pretty sure I had some dreams last night, but now I don't remember them.
If the Lesters were on a cruise (which I'm not necessarily sold on) I doubt we would find out about it until it was over. What with the sleuthing of the phans and the confined nature of a ship (though I suppose that would mean no one could reach them, unless they were already on the cruise...) I really can't blame them, it's a good tactic for non-public events.

sorry but i don't think this is entirely accurate, particularly the bit about needing to exit and re-enter in order to change the status of the visa. as far as i know, the p-1b visa that dnp travel on is actually quite a flexible one, and while dan may have only gained entry until may 10 initially, it's relatively easy to apply for an extension of stay. moreover, dan is a UK citizen and the UK is part of the visa waiver programme in the US which means that, by virtue of having a UK passport, he can remain in the country for up to 90 days for purposes of tourism, business, and pretty much anything else, without getting a specific visa. while i'm not certain how these visa categories interact after he has already gained entry for a certain amount of time (given that i'm not an immigration lawyer lmao), it seems like a huge stretch to me to suggest that a uk national would need to exit the US and re-enter in order to change his nonimmigrant status or to gain an extension of stay (when relatively easy mechanisms exist to do both of those things under his current visa, and when he qualifies for the VWP due to his nationality). if you have more info or sourcing on why you think he needs to exit/re-enter in order to change status, i'd be really interested to read it though!Asky160 wrote:Hi guys! Oh you and your logic, ruining my daydreams of Dan getting of the plane and Phil telling him he's ridiculous, but he's glad Dan decided to stay. No, very good points, but I'm going to play devils advocate for a moment. What if both are true? Sure, there is probably a simpler or less extravagant way to extend your visa, but that doesn't mean Dan wouldn't make the decision to go to the Bahamas instead, because one- he freaking can and two- he's a troll and it would keep everyone guessing. Or you know he could have had a mini project. Shrug.nihilist-toothpaste wrote:

Cheers! You folks should definitely be working for your respective country's national intelligence agencies. My only question is: why no king size beds in your penthouse Hilton? Dan and Phil probably had to play rock, paper, scissor again and Dan ended up sleeping on the sofa, poor guy.
No, but seriously, this makes me so happy. Yay, double date mini-vacations! They certainly deserve it. *drools over bathroom* I bet Dan just hogged all the hot water leaving Phil with an icy peach bum. Seriously I think he uses the peach emoji for his butt.

http://www.babson.edu/admission/interna ... tatus.aspxPlease be aware that if you have both a student and a tourist visa in your passport, you are not automatically able to transfer from one status to another. You need to formally apply to change your status with USCIS before your current status ends.
That's my opinion based on personal experience but I could be wrong
