Potential devil's advocate nonsense I'm sure one of you is thinking:

Martyn and Cornelia got the penthouse and separate rooms, because they're loaded. So, naturally, Dan and Phil stayed in a lesser room with 2 beds.

Dan and Phil each had their own room in the penthouse and invited Martyn and Cornelia to the pool.
I think it's fair to say they shared a beautiful penthouse suite for a short couples' trip to Miami.

Oh, 2017. What a year.

This is honestly the cutest thing ever oh my god Its so extravagant but they deserve it! The Lesters sure do know how to treat their significant others

Based on her other instagram pics, the girl who spotted Phil, Martyn, and their mother in Publix yesterday is from the Kissimmee/Orlando area, so I think at this point them no longer being in Miami is a safe conclusion to draw. (She specifies who she saw in the comments.)

(Plus, Martyn's latest tweet. I don't think he's catching bugs under glasses in his $840/night penthouse suite, lmfao. If he was, I hope he asks for something comped.)

More devil's advocate nonsense (kinda but not really):
Do we know if Phil's parents went? I thought they usually do, hence why it's the "Lester family" vacation. In which case, where are they in this scenario?

It's obviously possible the parents got a separate suite and their sons plus their SOs stayed in that suite (or the parents are not even there OR they stuck Phil on the sofa bed because he's the youngest...jk). I'm not arguing against the logic as it is presented. Just wondering if anyone actually knows about the parents because I'm nosy but not really inclined to sleuthing.

Phil and Martyn were spotted with their mother on the 11th (I said yesterday earlier, but I was remembering wrong) but the Lester parents were not mentioned or seen in context with the Miami trip at all so that's an unknown quantity.

It's a valid point, but just being realistic... Do we really think Dan and Phil wouldn't be at least one half of the people staying in that penthouse? It's $840/night. They're paying half if not the majority of that cost. Even if Mr. and Mrs. Lester were there, they'd be sharing the space with D&P imho.

..so dan probably left on the 10th? i don't think miami was the lester vacation, it looks like deppy, cornelia and martyn stayed there for 3 days after playlist and the parents joined in after that (and are on their traditional lester vacation now (on the same location where the shop picture was taken?)) and dan went home. damn, they really have been sneaky this time, so much this week! (but nice for them. travelling and only spotted once (after playlist ofc)?)

also if dan left on the 10th, does the bahamas trip remain a mystery? or did he left on the 11th and needed the new visa/stamp/what was it for that one day? (i might be wrong about the days tho, time zones) would that be even more daniel-y than the previous guess? is baby miles still with him? is their new apartment actually in florida and they are just never gonna mention it to avoid stalkers? what is going on?

The theory, that I find most likely, is that the trip to Miami was directly after Playlist Live and just the four of them. Miami is quite a young city, so I can totally see that. Then they met Phil's parents back in the Orlando area to kick off the official Lester family vacation.

Ah I see you beat me to it. I also don't see any proof that Dan has gone back to London, only that he left Miami, like everyone else. (Though he or others are welcome to prove me wrong.) Unless of course he went home specifically to watch Eurovision (surely you can stream it in the US though). See his most recent Tumblr post.

Yeah...I can see Danny jetting off at this point back home... I think they both like to give eachother a few days a year for quality time with their families—not to mention a little time apart for themselves, which can only be healthy.

this makes sense because a) it sounds like a hella fun trip and b) the lester family trip was probably not planned exactly around playlist, so it make sense that there was some time lag between both of them

Where in the world is dan still continues, because do we know where the videos for that Thomas sander video was filmed? Because someone on twitter said if you look closely in the reflection of Phil's glasses, you can see dan filming him and an obivoused pool next to him that seems to be in an inclosed glass patio. Photo under spoiler for reference

Many Florida homes have that set up for pools. It is still possible that dan is still in Florida with the lesters. This is the mystery that keeps building.

I'm really happy Deppy had a holiday in Miami (and I agree it seems probable that it was a couples holiday with Martyn and Cornelia). Miami is a lovely place and I enjoy visiting good friends there when I can. The only drawback is that it's so hot and humid that that it feels as though you are breathing through a steaming wet washcloth whenever you step outside, but Deppy seem to like visiting tropical places.

Dan noted the art deco, and the old architecture and abundant color make the city really pretty. But of course the best part is the miles of beach, from which you can walk into the warm Atlantic Ocean, where you can float forever. I hope Deppy did that .

I will restake my claim that the beach/moon pictures were taken at sunset, not sunrise, because Miami is on the east coast of Florida.

Nope - that's why everyone was on the edge of their seats wondering. He did last year, but last year it was at the start of TATINOF US so Dan would have been going to the US anyway. This year he really had no actual reason to stay, besides just joining the Lesters.

Why am I so invested in them? A few tweets shouldn't make me smile so hard but here I am, spazzing out about a Eurovision watch party with all of Phil's family and Dan posting pictures that lets us know he's with the Lesters without coming out and saying it.
