Hey this is out of topic but i have a friend going to vidcon this june and they really need to give something they made to dnp- would you think that theres a way for the lottery to work in their favor? they came all the way from malaysia and i just want to know if that's possible at all :/ since the lottery system doesnt seem to work for many people- :?

I really wish the username said Daniel Howell. This pic is definitely a Daniel pic. Hurry up Instagram!

Another thing I think makes this pic so appealing to me is that because it's candid and he possibly thinks he is alone or only with Phil, his body and attitude are so much more at ease than when we usually see him in the presence of others. What a blessing that Phil captured this beautiful moment and that they decided to share it with all of us. I unironically feel #blessed.
All of this perfectly sums up all my thoughts on the insta. I'm just imagining Phil admiring Dan from the other side of the pool, taking candid photos like he always does I just love that they're sharing all these moments with us now. It makes me very happy I can't believe true love is out there existing

Something I like about Dan being with the Lesters is that when they travel to conventions, etc as Dan and Phil, assuming they're together, they have to keep their couple-y behaviour in check and just in their bedrooms they can be themselves. On the hand, Phil mentions that in Florida they rent a house so chances to be seen by fans or outsiders are quite small. I mean, yes they can encounter fans in restaurants and when they visit Gatorland or places like that but they have a bigger place to enjoy some privacy. I can't imagine them relaxing by the pool in a club or in a hotel and getting the pic we got of Dan.

It is strictly a lottery system and Vidcon stick to the rules. I don't recommend stalking them, but really, all they can do is hope the lottery system works for them.

I love this. I always imagine that Dan and Phil can let go around the Lesters and be touchy and cute, and the Lesters "aww"ing at them i know that's what I would do

Hi! Long time lurker, first time poster. I found this site a few months ago as my casual interest in Dan and Phil was transforming into something more serious. I've really enjoyed reading all of your posts and discussions, and now I think I'm ready to start chiming in.

I've really enjoyed all of the pics they've shared of their Florida vacation and am hoping for (though not expecting) a joint liveshow today.

Yes this was what I meant but better articulated. I think Dan's body is great right now and he looks so much more attractive/healthier imo but I know if I were in his shoes I'd be pretty upset at a bunch of 14 year olds commenting "TUMMY !!" when I didn't even mean to show my stomach.
My opinion is Dan got self-conscious about his torso when puberty finally hit him and he reached his full height and his shoulders grew broader. His torso is what took the hit in his growth spurt, not his legs (you can compare from the vids when they were on that island and always had their shirts off) but even so, Dan's waistline seems to appear right at the bottom of his ribcage.

I am too lazy to call up videos, but it's out there on the YT.

That being said, we are long past the days when Dan's pants were always hanging off his ass. He's matured into his body and he is a big man, and I don't mean fat, but you can tell he has some unease with himself from the waist up. It's a shame he is so self conscious but I am the same way so I get it. I would prefer to bury myself in long, wide sweaters any day.
I remember watching some older younows (2012/2013-ish?) and Dan lightly mentions his discomfort with his body image. If I can later, I'll try to find them but idk if I'll be able to - I know one was on his sofa but a fair few of them were back then so it's not shocking.

As is typical with Dan, he covers up his insecurities through jokes - and then instantly tells people not to over analyse what he says. I wouldn't be surprised if he has self-image issues.

:welcome: I'd love a liveshow as well, but I think it's more likely to be a video. I have my doubts as to if they'll do anything at all actually, since I don't think they've had as much time to prep a backlog of videos as they did pre-Australia, what's with the moving and everything else. I also subscribe to the 'Dan didn't initially plan to stay past May 10th as seen on his passport, so he had to go to the Bahamas and go back into the US to get another visa' theory. That means he was probably planning on having a LS today, so no video prepped. I don't recall any instances of them doing LSs on vacation, but let's see if they surprise us.

If there ends up being a liveshow today would they do Florida time or UK time? They've been uploading on Florida time, according to their "schedule" that they've created but I'm not sure if that would apply to liveshows.

Selfishly I would really like a liveshow at 9pm EST, but if they want bang for their buck (or rather, buck for their bang lbr) they'd do a LS between 4pm and 6pm EST.

Also, had a chat with an amigo today and realized it would be so nice to get a video filmed in Florida. Whether that be something really reaching like family monopoly on the gaming channel or as small as a LAP where Phil gets a tan for the first time (try new things!). Something cute from the sunshine state would be so satisfying.

Have I just given everyone unnecessarily high expectations? Potentially. Sorry not sorry.

Oh yes, a LAP video would be amazing (haha). Even if it is just a tiny filmed bit of the pool. Both have shown the pool on their instas and twitter so a video involving it would be very nice! my expectations are so high too

I'm really happy we got another vid of them playing Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, because I really enjoyed the first one and luckily really liked this one as well. I just enjoy seeing them play together and even if they didn't do so well this time around I was still impressed by how well they understood together.
Also they were already being cute in the first 20 seconds.

cute video! those kind of games always stress me out though even though i'm not the one playing it they had such domestic vibes in the beginning when they were cutesy arguing over the explanation of the game. it was a good video overall, just stresses me out though but that's fine lol, worth it to see deppy play it again.

Yes, same! I love games where they work together, even though sometimes the drama is a bit too manufactured. Also, Dan's screaming breaks too many glasses man, I can't keep buying them, they're expensive. I can't watch it until I get home, but I'm looking forward to it.

I'd love to see them play a board game of some kind, especially if it's a family night thing. Never going to happen, but I can dream right?

Wtf, these two! Phil described that one shape in such a weird way and Dan immediately got it -
how?! And why am I still surprised? It's incredible. I haven't seen anyone else play this but I am pretty sure that most people aren't nearly as good. Phil being flustered was really cute and relatable I love them working together on something, their dynamic is so entertaining. Couldn't have asked for a better video tbh
