Dan is a cynic like me but I still love this kind of stuff for the lols. I often take tests like that when I'm bored just to see how accurate they are, even though I'm pretty sure they are just generic things that apply to almost everyone - just like with zodiac signs and that stuff. If there happen to be actual psychics out there, I'm sure that whole process would be a lot different. But I doubt those things exist.

Anyway, I just loved the video. Especially when Phil trolled Dan. I was so sure the banana thing wasn't actually a thing but then I started to remember that humans are weird and decided to shade Western Australians for their banana fortune telling until it turned out it was a prank after all. Kudos to Phil. I love when he's the one pranking Dan. He made such an effort, Dan was so sceptic but he managed to convince him. I also loved the little banana slapping (wtf am I typing?) and Phil mentioning how that guy probably meant something else with his comment.

Long time no post!! I was just able to catch up on all the deppy videos from this week.
I loved the video just posted today. The banana thing made me laugh so hard I had to cover my mouth so I wouldn't wake my sleeping boyfriend.

I definitely think that "bedroom" is just a set. There's no way someone would downgrade to a room like that after how spacious of a room they had before.

Where's his TV? Where does he keep his clothes? I'm just not buying that that's his room.

How many videos have they prepared?!

The #BahamaDrama and their incredible variance in wardrobe made it seem like a relatively spontaneous decision to stay longer (at least on Dan's part?), but then they have like 5 videos up their sleeve?

I am confused.

It makes sense when you realise that Phil knew he was going away for this long from the start. The gaming videos have to be together, so even if Dan stayed home they had to film the videos in advance. Phil likes to upload an AmazingPhil video every two weeks or so, and as he was going away for two weeks, he knew he had to prepare a video as well in order to stick to his upload schedule. I think Dan planned to film a Danisnotonfire (or should I say DanielHowell) video while he was away and do his liveshows, and those were absent because he was away. But I think Dan knew it wouldn't be a problem because he (happened to) feature in all the DAPGO and an AP video as well.

(BTW was so happy with the new vid I'm on my 3rd rewatch already, they were both so happy and fond; Phil's prediction for domestic bliss was definitely accurate (even though I don't believe in fortune telling at all))

That video was so good! I don't think I've laughed so hard before, I literally cried I laughed so hard! Tarot cards are truly a bit freaky with their accuracy sometimes, and now I'm just gonna sit here waiting for future artistic Daniel to write an erotic fanfic.

I believed Phil for a bit with the banana prank, until he asked Dan to put it on his arm and I knew Phil was messing with him.

Good catch this the reflection on the 8-ball! Some of you I feel could make it as detectives if you wanted. The room definitely looks small, although I can't really tell too much from a rounded reflection.

This video is definitely going on my favorites list for this year! So many good videos this year, 2017 truly is brilliant!

Also that Phil would go so far as to make a joke like that, I'm living for it. Dan's expression of scrunched up confusion afterwards was probably both surprise Phil would say that and also a reaction to what it insinuates.
1.46 Kyle may marry Phil. Dan's reaction is interesting, kind of a forced laugh. Of course that's a matter of interpretation, just could him being awkwardly entertaining and filling the silence, but looks like him trying to fill in something quickly. If anybody wants to write a good phan angst, Phil leaving Dan for fitness trainer Kyle is the way to do it.
2.54 They're really hinting for this dog. I want no more posts from people saying the phandom is forcing them to get one. (Let's be honest, if they actually do, people will find some way to blame the phandom for deppy doing something for themselves and being happy)

9.16 This is kind of stupid, but if anyone has the idea that Dan shares that bed with Phil (lol) I highly doubt it, given the amount of banana slapping and pieces he gets on the bed makes it icky and not something who consciously uses that bed would do.
9.19 "Banana abuse...Babuse..." sounds like something I heard Phil say before, it's weird whenever he references something from an older video of theirs that only he gets. (Like "I'm Sandra Bullock! I'm spinning!")
9.24 Why does Phil look like he's enjoying being hit by a banana, he even let's Dan grab him and shove it down his shirt.
9.37 If best friends shake hands that weakly I wonder what kind of limp stroke they do with strangers.

I'm really starting to think Phil likes bananas too much. Hmmm.

General thoughts: I found while watching the beginning of this, maybe it's the setup, but they're awfully stiff and awkward around each other and where they are sitting, however they became more comfortable nearer to the end. I find they're a lot more relaxed around each other while they are on their gaming channel, either that they are used to making more gaming videos and have a set formula for behaving, or that the way they behave on their is for a different demographic.

Their interactions on AmazingPhil are always a little stiff, innuendos are shocking while normal on the gaming channel. Not a bad thing, but certainly something they are easing themselves into. Phil making the "DO IT" joke is another example of that, slowly making progress and being less PG. I don't think they know how to behave around each other on their own channels (probably why Phil makes so few appearances on Dan's) and why Dan is still so much danisnotonfire on Phil's. Their personas and interactions with each other on each channel just feel so different, I can see them being torn between how they want to behave as they usually do (on the gaming) and how tradition holds them back (on any other).

Also, I know "privacy" and all that, but I hate only seeing tight corners like this set-up Phil has as his beard room. My brain wants to see "whole" complete things, just the full room, some sort of spatial awareness of where I am. My whole mind is ticking, my skin crawling. I need to see whole places, I hate these snippets of spaces. I don't expect an apartment tour, but damn do I want one so badly.
Does anybody actually think that Phil actually sleeps in that room?? I mean phan believer or not, it's such a shitty room I can't imagine it serving any purpose but as a guest room or sex dungeon.

Oh wow, this sure is something They could have just included the business part, that would've been applicable and nice for Dan, but the family...oh boy. Weird how we're getting an influx of 'family' mentions all of a sudden. Maybe Phil really is psychic and everything is coming together at last.

This video came out of nowhere; I wasn't expecting anything until next week. I wonder if this means there'll be a LS on Tuesday? Still, a very good surprise!

I like Phil's predicting the future, though it's not a video on my 'rewatch when sad list', but this one sure is! Like everyone else said, the 'do it with Dan' bit is a++, both due to Phil's deadpan delivery and Dan's reaction. I don't have much to say about the magic 8 ball, but I loved the tarot card reading. Even though I don't really believe in that stuff and most it is just generic fluff, how the last/current year cards played out fit really, really well for Dan. I also think it's interesting that Dan's summary of the 3 years is 'tour, tour recovery, and 'wtf am I doing with my future''.

The banana bit is so so great, Phil Lester is a comedic genius. I was positive it was a joke from the very start, but it was still quite unexpected what he did haha

Phil's room in the reflection does look pretty empty, and I'm in the 'that room is more or less just a place to sleep sometimes/a guest room/set for filming' camp, I think it would make sense for that corner to be empty. Presumably he knew he'd be filming from that angle often, so there's no point in putting anything back there when it'd make it harder to move the camera/lights around, with how small it looks.

Wait, isn't there a big wardrobe behind the camera? If there's not, what exactly am I looking at instead? Also the ceiling does look small but keep in mind the reflection is rounded so it would appear smaller. Also it's not reflecting the whole room so there might be a lot more in it left and right of the bed. I think. I'm just doubting this theory because I feel like if they had wanted to make us believe this was his real room although it wasn't, would they really have used a room the size of a shoe box? I don't know, this whole theory is way too for me, I just don't see the point in lying about the room. But what do I know, maybe you're right!
