that, but also he mentioned that the bed was smaller. he's not a small man, and moving to a flat with more space and having a room so small that he has to downsize his bed and even the smaller bed hardly fits in the room seems....odd, at best.LtrllySusan wrote:I'm also still new and confused about formulating thoughts.
The reason people started discussing the "beardroom" in the first place was because of the drawer placement looking incredibly impractical for everyday use. The fact that the room is also small was just adding on top of that. Of course, what you are saying makes a lot of sense. So if the major argument was that it can't be his room because it's small, it would be invalid after your reasoning. But the major argument is that it looks impractical and unrealistic. Even if you only sleep in there and get your clothes - with that drawer/bed placement, it seems like quite the hassle.
we haven't seen "dan's" room but the way he's described it for some reason i find it hard to believe his is as small as phil's. and if they dont share a room it doesn't make sense that phils would be that much smaller than dan's. whatever the rooming situation is i just don't believe phil sleeps in the one he films in.
as far as not needing to spend time in the room because they've made a home, i see that in some ways. but also, if dan has his own space he's taken pride in decorating (moon room) i can see phil wanting that as well, either in his own space or sharing that experience with dan in the moon room. most people i know who have nice homes extend that to the bedroom which is often large and well decorated. maybe phil isn't as big on interior design as dan is but i still think he'd want a bigger space. my mom spends lots of time in her room even though she has the rest of the house.
