They are precious! Adorable photo of both of them, though I think Phil wears his denim jacket better. Very wholesome boy next door look. I don't care for the blue denim with the black ripped jeans look. Trying to be edgy and failing. Anywho. Beautiful boys.

I was out for most of the day. We saw My Neighbor Totoro in cinemas and the concession stand had Maltesers! So of course the kiddo chose them. The dream is alive. (Next Miyazaki screening we are getting Pocky instead. The Maltesers in the packet seemed to have a slightly different consistency than the ones in the tub, like the chocolate coating was thinner, less creamy, more sugary and didn't melt as well in the mouth. Though scraping the chocolate off with your teeth was easier, but I digress.)

Good gaming video! I enjoyed your review Stakhanov. I was hoping someone might do timestamps, because I feel like there were a lot of lovely natural open banter and innuendos at the beginning. I didn't catch Dan calling Phil 'Lester' (ah there it is "suck those points Lester". I was distracted by the mutual sucking, sorry!) but I heard Phil call Dan 'Howell' ("don't you mess me up Howell") which gave me warm fuzzies. I'll probably rewatch tomorrow. (I lie, I'm rewatching the beginning right now. Oh goodness Dan does seem high.)

The first thing I noticed about this video was that the lighting/visual quality was off. Do you suppose they just didn't have on the strong light because of the heat? It made for some dull gifs on Tumblr. I assumed the "extra" bit was for comments like "fight me bitch", "right in the tits", "it's just a giant penis", but are those really out of the ordinary? I think dizzy hit the nail on the head (plus *maybe* being high). I find it adorable that he at replied Phil apologizing. Are they sat closer to the camera as well? Much leaning, joyful touching. "I'm absolutely porked." (I really should go to bed.)

Seattle trees, my god Phil! I suppose he thought they were aspens (which apparently are found in many northern climates) when they are actually birches, pretty easy mistake, gotta love those white barked trees. "A Mexican language", apologize for yourself Dan, not Phil. Well they have been to Portugal, but I'm not surprised they didn't know which languages were spoken in which South American countries. I'm iffy on that as well. (I would complain about the Ohio flag being a unique swallow tail pennant shape, but Dan was only teasing about misdirecting Phil, and what Brit would know that?) However they both definitely have their strengths. I love when they got close. Cooperative play would be great. Goodnight!

C'mon guys, they're not stupid enough to do that and risk the potential audience/media backlash - pretty certain it was because they were exhausted as a result of the heat and attempted to add some enthusiasm into the video, but seriously couldn't be bothered to do more than allow their minds to take tangents.

Also, about the kmh, I've seen literally every comment shaming dnp for it, but I didn't realise either. Tbh I don't know or particularly care about what systems America uses for measurement (just that they don't use the metric system... why tf not?!) so I'm not surprised if dnp don't know, despite the fact that they do travel there alot and did an entire road tour there - but I doubt they were looking at the roads for a majority of the tour.

I watched one of their videos the morning after having one too many brownies and woke up still high after no sleep due to hallucinations... it was incredibly weird. I just thought they looked soft. Although one thing I did notice was Dan's voice grated me more than usual and Phils made me incredibly sleepy.

Have they ever mentioned weed before? I'm intrigued now, I know they mentioned they haven't smoked but nearly did when they were younger in vids but never heard them mention weed before. (Apart from the weed jumper thing of last year lol)

While I am in my mid-20s I have to admit I've never had contact with the stuff or have been around people who were high so forgive me the silly question: Don't high people have red eyes? Or is that a stereotype?

I personally don't think they were high in the video, or any other video because as Saffarina said, they aren't that stupid and even though Dan does ISG with the whole taking shots bit, it's still illegal and it would tarnish their (somewhat) squeaky clean image That being said I highly doubt they've never smoked it in the past in their teenage years, perhaps it's just where I'm from but I know only few people that haven't ever tried it...besides something had to have made them the way they are today

Re: weed. Just want to clarify, that it was not my original thought when I watched the game. But after reading several comments and rewatching (very tired) I could see where Dan's behavior might line up (not Phil's). Mind you I've only tried the stuff on three occasions and it had no effect except to make me sadder once. So I don't usually jump to that assumption. And yes professionalism. He was probably just tired/hot/cranky.

Re: the jumper. This is the very loose knit brown bamboo leaf sweater which left Dan feeling chilly on a windy lookout in Australia. So if he is wearing nothing underneath he might actually get more airflow than a tee. Maybe. However his fashion choices continue to confund me. In general, sweaters/sweatshirts in the summer? No.

I'm pretty interested now in the whole history of Dan and Phil, conventions and how they are handling their passes (and bags too). If they just get one pass, that's pretty damn of the organizers and of themselves. Just a few obvious alternative explanations: Phil might just be the one wearing it on a visible place - Dan's pass might just be in his pocket, we might just have to small a sample of photo's which make us reach premature conclusions or there might be any other (un)known combination of reasons that make this logical.
Maybe we need to compare to famous youtube couples and the sets of passes they get, and how visible those are ?
I find the idea that they were high while making this vid pretty hilarious (and no i'm not even high while typing this). I don't think any of them give the impression of being high while shooting this video also i don't really think their tone or behavior was somehow 'off'? If anything, i feel like the heat (and yes i do think they might have opted not to put on the normal halogen lights because those lights give A LOT of heat) or whatevs else was at play just gave us a bit more of natural acting Deppy. As in I suspect they are usually more subdued and laid back (and not so damn hyper) in 'real life' when the camera isn't rolling. I'm always surprised when people say Dan or Phil looked 'sad' of 'down' when they just are a bit more calm in a live show.

yeah, sometimes your eyes get red (though not always!) but you can get rid of it with eye drops or using some strains that are low in THC (can i...say this on IDB?)

also like, at this point their career i highly doubt they'd film high (lol) if only because it could potentially result in more time editing out giggles/side conversations/shit that's hilarious when you're stoned and not when you're sober. but i also wouldn't be surprised if they'd done so earlier in their career.

also, to the person way earlier who asked the question about watching their vids while high, i was stoned the first time i watched the Monster Pops video and I don't think the human body is meant to sustain those levels of sheer delight, it was tops.
