And yes, Dan, I do support unconventional family structures, will definitely retweet. ;)
count me in on Dan's incredibly strong parental sense over this child being the best part of the video. I also noticed him freaking out a liiiittle too much over Dab calling someone on the phone, "who is he talking to?" Dan will totally be the overly concerned dad that constantly needs to protect his children.

(I also strongly agree on the striked part)

I am excited to house restructuring coming next, that domestic shit is why I live. I hope Dab gets a bigger room as well, he's gonna be a teen at some point and his current room is quite small. An upstairs would definitely be nice. (Lots of remodelling requivered for that, sign me the fuck up )
for future references, if they don't progress the dab/evan storyline once they're teens I am definitely suing, that is literally the best thing they could do with the series now after the alien baby

The video was alright, nothing groundbreaking or super interesting but it was cute and satisfying. But I could hardly concentrate because I was for some reason hyper aware of Phil leaning into Dan's side like 90% of that video.

I'm excited for a redecorating episode next time, that's my shit right here. :D

Having watched Anthony's video, I am still left wondering if he filmed a proper collab with Dan (and possibly Phil) after VidCon. In the IG story he posted last week, it definitely looked like Dan was at Anthony's place since the plant behind D seemed to be the same as the plant next to A in the "so...now what?" video.

This is too cute. I have nothing of value to add, but Dan's parental sense for an alien baby that doesn't actually exist should be appreciated.

In the back of my mind I just keep thinking, how are they going to remember to feed and care for four Sims? They were pretty crap when it was just one.

Though actually, that's kind of related to another point - I feel like the game since the kids came along has been them increasingly cutting out large swathes of time where they're actually playing the game in the way that they need to to keep every bar from being red. I wonder how much more time goes into an edited down 20 minute video now as compared to early on when it was just Dil?

I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was something about Phil in this new Sims video that I really loved??? He seemed very relaxed and casual on a level I feel like we see very rarely. Like, moreso than other gaming videos and live shows even.

His commentary was funny and honest, that proximity to Dan basically the whole time, and just generally his whole vibe. IDK. I guess my point is: The video was good, but like..... because of Phil.

I just re-watched the whole thing just to look for that and was not disappointed. It really is 90% of the time! I love seeing them like this, every video just gets better and better with how relaxed and close they are.

I found this video weird... not in a bad way necessarily, just at times like there was less of a fourth wall, and there were more moments that felt mundane and comfortable, as if they'd forgotten they were creating content and were just doing their thing. It felt quite low-energy and relaxed. Then they'd remember where they were and Dan would overcompensate with noise and his go-to zero-shaming comments, bless him. I missed the comment about Tony Stark completely, so thanks to others for pointing it out. I was also distracted by them leaning on each other for pretty much the whole video.

With series like the Sims I get much more couply vibes off them as they don't have to go into great detail explaining how the game works every time or compete for a title or conjure up huge reactions to a storyline, they're just continuing to take us on a journey and have the opportunity to throw in some comfy domestic bants. (It's too bad idgaf about the Sims but I'll still watch it, for these moments.)

Cute video. I loved how Dan made sure to pay extra attention to Dab when they got home from the hospital with Dalien

I get the feeling Phil is really into the SciFi turn that the storyline has taken. It's adorable. I don't really know what you guys mean by "low energy?" It was more relaxed in the way they presented themselves, and a little more fast-paced with the action than the old Sims episodes because there is so much going on but apart from that it seemed pretty normal to me.

Except for the leaning, which is so sweet. Firstly because that level of comfort on camera is still new enough to be surprising and delightful, and secondly because being a tactile person myself I am getting serious warm-fuzzies from the gesture, as simple as it is. I do that with my sister, my closest friends and people I am attracted to, leaning into their space/onto their shoulders, either as a way of expressing that I'm happy, I'm comfortable with you and want to share those feelings, or as a physical expression of comfort if the other person is tense or emotionally compromised.

They are both always lovely but Phil especially looks incredible in this video, I love it when he wears black

I'm rewatching the video with my dinner because I'm trash, and something I had completely missed the first time around is at 1:15, when Phil refers to Dab as his "grandson" while fretting over him not eating breakfast before going to school.

Should I even try to express the feelings inside of me right now? Is it even possible? That coupled with Dan's protectiveness over Dalien has just ruined me for the rest of the day. Goodbye.

Sometimes I can find their Sims games a little stale. But these latest one's have mixed it up enough for it to be fun and entertaining
And I'm always a sucker for decorating on Sims (you can lose me for hours in build mode), so I'm looking forward to the next one.

Phil's Tony Stark comment was gold and Dan's reaction had me in stitches.

The ending though where Dan talked about contacting aliens again had me
If Phil doesn't stop him they're going to have a whole house full of alien kids at this rate.

Also, I really do hope they play some Crash Bandicoot on the gaming channel. Mainly for the nostalgia factor for the fans and because I loved Crash growing up. It isn't two player, but my sisters and I used to take turns on levels, I don't see why couldn't do the same?

Why the frickity frick is the alien baby called the same thing as my dad?! (He's called Dalion pronounced the same as Dalien.) Oh god. How will I ever watch another Sims video the same way?

I enjoyed this Sims more than the previous one, but it was pretty much one huge build up to the end and not much happened except the birth. But the Dab parts were absolutely PRECIOUS and I'm a sucker for the decorating / domestic parts. And the interaction between Deppy was so genuine and lovely I'm all

Pregnant Dil with abs in that outfit was just... I don't know how to process that :wtf:

I just want to clarify that my favorite part of that entire sims video was Phil referring to Dab as his 'grandson'. I just found that ridiculously adorable and had to replay it a few times T_T Their love for these sims is what keeps me attached to this series lol.

The one thing that stuck out to me that no one else has mentioned is Dan's comment that " Netflix in bed will never be the same." It's totally the shipping part of my brain but all I can think of is how deppy watch Netflix together and I always just pictured it in the living room.

That just reminds me of that show early last year that Dam tweeted he watched from Netflix in bed (Making a Murderer?) and then Phil talked about in his next liveshow.

Oh wow! I only started following them on twitter about a year ago. Thanks for the additional info.

It's actually kind of amazing to remember back to when that was like the biggest deal ever - I mean, I think if they acknowledged watching Netflix in bed together (even indirectly) it would still be a massive deal. But Dan tweeting that he was not getting out of bed and making Phil bring him sweet potato fries (from that same day) - ughh. Still cute, but I feel like it would be much more commonplace now.

It sounds like "for now" or "turn around" maybe, but it's really hard to tell! Neither of those really make much sense, so I'm probably wrong. He's definitely mumbling, it sounds more like "turr-er" or something to me haha, so who knows

I have no idea about fashion but can I just say yay for Dan wearing a fitted shirt once in a while? The oversized stuff can be cute and all but this...

Regarding the actual content of the vid: I guess I am not so excited about the Sims anymore ? I usually watch the full gaming videos right away but this one I actually paused half way through and went to do something else.

It's "let's just look at her, spin around" meaning turn the view around so we can see her face.

I have a question for you all while we wait and see if there's a Dan liveshow later.

I've only recently started reading Phan fiction even though I've stanned deppy over a year now, and it got me to wondering whether you all read Phan fiction and when/why you started. Also, what I'm most interested in (since lulls on here usually come back to shipping) do you nonshippers read Phan fiction? I'm curious from both shippers and nonshippers, how does reading Phan fiction or not affect whether you ship it (and by ship it I'm including believing Phan is real).
