The venue for Poland only has 670 seats. Very tiny! Are the venues where you're at bigger, or small too?

My local venue in Plymouth is 2,500 - I'm jealous of anyone able to go to a small venue!

So does ~2.5 months in U.S mean another tour bus? And possibly busgate 2.0? This will be interesting...

Also please please could they do tour vlogging? Or weekly vlogs? Or multiple ditl? :pls:

So I was thinking, if it will be interactive and thus changing every show..and if from what it seems, it will be a bit panely/q&a/comedy show.. I kinda of feel some FOMO? Like with tatinof, yes some spoilers surfaced but at least when the movies got out we all knew the show didn't change that much between one place and the other. I'm kinda sad if I think about it.

I also wish they'd livestream at least one show ;_;

@drearyquery I was also thinking about the return of busgates actually! I think one way to avoid it would be to just not talk about sleeping situations at all, but I think speculations will arise no matter what lol

So now that this cat is deifnitely out of the bag..anyone else think there might still be something else to go? Still related to Dan's weird wording that made it sound like there would be more than one revelation? just me?

The venue in ours is 2,385 seater according to the website. But then it's for 2 dates so technically they'll have to fill those seats 2x over.

Is it bad that I'm kinda worried that they have a 2 dates-show in my country? I know the Phandom used to be huge in the Philippines around 2012-2014 (before I knew of them), but I actually know of less than 10 active Filipino Phandom members now. We're only 3 in this site. And only 200+ people took the survey. I'm just hoping the Phandom is still really huge here. I'd hate for us to be the country where they flopped after years of everyone screaming at them to come to Manila. Ignore me. I'm just a worrier. :?

Holy crap. The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles seats 7,100. This is going to be massive.

Also uhhh I'm a little hypocrite. I'm really looking forward to this. The hubby even offered to buy me VIP tickets as a Christmas gift as I was running around the house blabbing about how excited I was for deppy :love2: (Dunno if I'll do it, I'd probably be way too nervous to meet them, eek)

I'd also like threads to meet up with other Los Angeles IDB tour-goers. :)

In Finland the vanue has almost 1500 seats in total, which is kind of... making me even more anxious. I have no idea how big they are here and just, wow. Then what if I don't get the tickets? I've never been this excited and this anxious about anything, geez.

The place they are coming in Columbus, Ohio has like 19,000 seats! Definitely not the place I thought they would come in the city. I've been to concerts there where they will close off the upper section, but that still is a huge venue.

Hopefully they will have based it on their youtube viewer stats/ maybe who buys merch, so will have a fair idea of people likely to buy tickets in each place! But like you I am a bit of a worrier too (understatement) and I dont want any part of this to fail!

Still amazed they are going to so many cities and will be travelling for like 5 months!! thats insane

I'm strangely hyped? for the first time in the 4 years i've been watching them, i'm actually considering attending something they do irl. i've never been interested in conventions or meetups let alone tours but now i'm thinking of how i could make this work (@ dip and pip why not come to the mediterranean it's warm here you like it). i guess the overall vibe of this one is a tad more mature and composed than tatinof? the graphics, the website, the way they have been talking about it, idk it seems more chill and it intrigues me, and i'm hoping it will attract a similar audience too. as someone who gets second hand embarrassment from the stupidest things, all the screaming and yelling combined with tatinof-like references and sketches really put me off

i will definitely not buy any tickets unless i get all the info first though. if the trailer and liveshow happen after tickets go live i'll be kinda annoyed too. are they trying to sell tickets just bc their names are in there? we should know what the show is before paying 20€+ to attend. (also VIP prices seem outrageous to me but then again i have no experience with such events so i never bothered to look at the price for comparison)

i'm excited, my expectations are high and i don't fully understand why but i guess we shall see

so i think it's only fair that he comes up here and shares this with me

The London venue has 3,632 seated. They cant do a show the day after because it already has Bill Bailey booked in. Ahhh. They filled the Palladium 3 or 4 times last time didn't they with 2,286 seats?

No wait it's 5,039 (Open seating)
3,632 (Reserved seating)

Just been discussing and I think we'll give Plymouth a miss (venue isn't great, show is on a weekday, children in school etc) and instead try and make a weekend out of it and go for Brighton tickets...the first night of the tour!!

The Fox Theatre in Detroit seats 5,174. The tour sounds fun, though I doubt I will go. I'd have to go alone and I'm just not brave enough for that. Plus 5,000 people wondering why I don't have a child with me? No thanks...full body hives at the thought of it.

The venue in Minneapolis, Minnesota has 2,600 seats. I saw Wicket there earlier this year and didn't think it was that big! I'm sure they'll fill it just fine.

However I'm really happy that they are making this. But we will probably have less content again. Damn. Also, following LtrllySusan with the unpopular opinions (?) I feel like it's too soon so make another tour. Idk.
FUUUUUCK i was thinking the same thing but is in JUNE are you kidding me?! (i am going to be drowning in exams)

I feel you on a lot of this. I've also never gone to any conventions/meetups/shows or even bought any merch. I wasn't really around during tatinof (just a very casual fan at the time), so I never even knew it was going on until it ended. But I probably wouldn't have gone anyway if I had known about it. Like you, I get intense second-hand embarrassment (like so bad that I sometimes need to pause videos that I'm watching by myself in my house), so I would've struggled going to Tatinof live.

I am definitely more into the idea of this tour, because I find the staged acted-out stuff a little cringey (don't get me wrong, I think they did great in tatinof, but like I said I get bad second-hand embarrassment). I definitely do want to hear more about what they have planned though. I think no matter what there are going to be lots of screaming fans with whiskers on their faces, but hey, I can't judge them for having fun; it's just not my thing. But I do kind of want to just suck it up and go, hopefully maybe find some similar-aged people to share in the fun/embarrassment with.

I’m excited too I was worried it might have been too danisnotonfire and amazingphil branded like the last one. I like this time it looks a lot more mature and I like the whole vibe of stand up, stories telling and “giving the people what they want” whatever that means :? You can see a massive difference in how different the two shows will be from just looking at the two promo pictures compared!

Also I hope the whole vibe from the audience will be different aswel. I’m such a antisocial person that doesn’t do well this big groups but I’m going because I like the vibe that seems more chill. I really hope it will attract more of the older viewers. And the show won’t have a lot of shouting at the boys while they are on stage, just thinking about it now it’s stressing me.

Yay! Happy it might work out for you! I was also worrying about traveling home in the middle of the night, missing all the trains and sleeping on a bench, but 14.00 is so much better. I am really curious about how fast the tickets will sell. Have no idea if they are big here or not. I am free on Tuesday so will be behind my computer the whole day, but I'm still kind of nervous about it.

The capacities of some of these theatres... 7000, 19,000  wowza. I hadn’t thought they might do a matinee show in some places too, that’s good.

They always surprise us with their creativity, I would urge anyone who’s not sure to go for it if they can cos I bet it’ll be great.
