They've been rehearsing more in the US so they haven't even been properly enjoying their vacation. Here I thought they were just hanging around taking pictures of alligators. I'm exhausted on their behalf and the tour isn't even started.

i was just complaining yesterday about the participation video, i guess late is better than never

my bus ride to orlando leaves thursday morning so i only have tonight and the rest of wednesday to throw together something last minute but i also have two research papers and a final due before then as well, oh well, it's gonna be an exciting challenge

It sounds like he just sent them one copy to share.

Tyler probably sent it to both of them. Deppy share most things they buy and send joint gifts but other Youtubers might feel it's impolite to only send them 1 copy of the book. They're both established individual YTers and it'd be insulting to make them share the book.

Phil: I’ve recycled the massive box because I’m good to the environment. But, in the box there was a million sweets which I’ve ingested.
Dan: The entire box was filled with these sweets, there must have been like hundreds.
Phil: And then—
Dan: There was a book.
Phil: Obviously he wants to appeal to me because he gave me socks.
Dan: And he sent us some notes; a Dan note and a Phil note.
Phil: And a binge mug as well.

They sound like they're talking about all of this stuff from the same one box, and the book had notes for the two of them in it. It makes sense since it seems like overkill to send two copies of the same book to one household. Although he could've sprung for 2 pairs of socks and 2 mugs lol, that's just being cheap. But most likely he just wrote out the cards and (an assistant/employee probably) added them to the pre-made promo boxes (I remember seeing Grace/Shane open them as well and they were all identical).

A bit off topic but: Do you guys think the success of the US tour may dictate how many places they choose to go to afterwards? Or do you think they already have mostly everything already planned?

From the looks of it, they're doing ok with sales with the exception of a few places. I'm wondering if they're going to go to multiple cities within different countries (not just the capital city/most populated city). If they're planning to, they'll probably need to get a tour van/bus for each country as it may be expensive to fly to different cities within one country. But I guess if they have a significant number of fans in a country, those are the only ones where they will go to multiple cities.

Also, since the last US show is in California, will they fly back home or continue touring by going to another country straight away? I'm guessing they'll go home for a bit to plan the rest of the world tours. But then again they only had two Canadian dates...

Damn Phil getting that Ebury Press swag. He also has Jessie Cave's book (Lavender Brown from the Harry Potter movies) and I think I remember him mentioning seeing her once because they're publisher mates..? Now that she has started a vlog I'd looooove to see her strange strange brain working with Phil in some kind of collab even if her vlog is mostly focused on her second pregnancy, heyy! maybe phil will get all broody again like that time in 2014

Why didn't they film it when they were doing all those videos for venues? Maybe they did forget about it and realised they haven't put up the participation video 3 days before the first show.

Ugh makes me really want to go watch it again now. I wonder how much they have changed. Also there is new tour merch. I wonder how different . I hope they put it on the shop like they did with the UK one.

ugh this makes me really wanna see the show now, especially knowing all the little bits and pieces we're gonna hear about the show once the tour properly kicks off. i really hope they come to europe soon, the suspense is killing me! yes, i've managed to actually stay spoiler-free until now

also, have you noticed dan looking over to the right after he winks at 2:54? it seems like he makes eye contact with someone.

Looks like the vid was filmed in a backstage dressing room (not a toilet, jeez you guys!) If they'd cared about lighting they'd have sat in front of the mirror (though tbf they're not flattering, (harsh light not soft light - you see eeeeeeeeeverything...! *war flashbacks*) My guess is there's something they didn't want in the background behind the camera?
