They said liveshow tomorrow in Sydney but someone said that they mentioned living Australia right after the show, so maybe the plans have changed. Also I don't want to get my hopes up for Japan an only 4 hour plane ride but it would be cool if they did do some traveling during their nine day break. Also I know dan said video when he gets back but it would be a really good time to film something, just saying.

Am I alone in thinking this is kind of significant - have they admitted to sharing a hotel room on tour before? Maybe I’m late to the party on this one; I haven’t been keeping up as closely as usual here. I know they made a big show of having separate rooms in the Australia DITL last year (?)(time has no meaning anymore that could very well have been 4 years ago) so idk this feels new.

Really not a big deal when they showed said hotel room they were sharing had two twin beds with their respective pillows from home in the gaming video.

Also they said they wanted to go back to Japan *after* tour, but who knows.

It isn't really significant to me. Just shows that they are close friends. They've been living in close quarters for a long time now, have done so in the past too and I bet they've shared rooms on multiple occasions on vacation. Especially in the early days when they weren't millionaires and booking two single rooms just makes the trip more expensive.
When i'm on vacation with friends we still book book rooms where there are 2 - or last time even 6 beds. It would have been a bit more remarkable if they were sharing a double bed but frankly speaking I wouldn't see that as that unusual either given how they lack the standard cultural barriers that would make a lot of straight guys uncomfortable, and have lived and worked so closely for more than a decade now.
We don't really know what their sleeping arrangements were most of the times they stayed at a hotel but from what I can infer from what they say, tweet and gram it seems they've spend most days in seperate bunks, rooms and occasionally probably shared a room.

Same goes for the bathroom situation. It would kind be odd imo if they would feel terribly awkward by the mere possibility that they might *gasp* see each other naked. Cultural sensitivities are different i'm not sure how it is in the uk but here at least when i was a teen you'd just shower naked together at sport clubs. I still see total strangers naked showering in the fitness showers or in the sauna.
Hard to say how prude/comfortable D&P are about all of this but I think they've seen each other naked long ago. And no, not to have sex

Whilst I appreciate Dans Instagram the faq isn’t actually filled with any different information than what they’ve already given. Like others have said they’ve done the show without a set before, not sure what’s so different now. Guess we just need to wait and see what seats people actually get allocated. I didn’t necessarily mean significant that they are sharing, I’m sure they do that all the time - I was just thinking it’s unlike them to so readily offer that info. Maybe I’ve been watching too many old pre-baking universe videos when every tiny detail like that was explained away but they’ve gotten so much more comfortable now I don’t know why it struck me as different. Maybe I’m feeling particularly nostalgic today

Okay, that is pretty great! I was worried for everyone that might end up with a worse seat, but like this I'm confident most people will be satisfied with their new seat. I'm really happy to see this. Hope that people from first rows will still have their first rows and not somewhere in the back.

Oh wow, badass new venue! If the rows of seats are legitimately longer then they did indeed find a way to make sure people had very close to their original seats.

ETA: Oh wait I get what your saying. They may have written down the wrong theater since it still says Kia theater. But people said they checked to see where their new seat is and it told them where so I feel like its accurate.

Unfortunately, this is really what happened. I think the one managing the website put ‘Araneta Coliseum’ instead of ‘Kia Theatre’. The venue tweeted already saying it will still be in Kia Theatre. I think it was just a mistake since most of us Day 1 VIP holders we’re placed on rows 20 beyond, and if it’s going to be in the bigger venue, that’s really impossible.

This whole thing is a mess and I just feel so sorry for the Manilla peeps. Badly worded/confusing/low info news often feel worse than no news at all. But I do believe dnp and their team are doing what they can and I just hope everything works out okay for as many as possible.

Even if sometimes things leak, in this case it's a very serious thing and they should've waited until dan or phil give a confirmation, not make announcements based on rumours.
Also, I get the curiosity and wanting to help, but tbh people outside of Manila need to stop obsessing over this because they end up doing more harm and creating further confusion. At this point the fans have the tools to ask for refunds, find out where they will be seated on the 13th, and vips for both days also have options.
No need to echo the mass anxiety.

What revolutionary heroes our deps are. So set in destroying conventional male friendship that they ask each other about lube preferences, visit the other only to use their bed to have sex, ask to play videogames naked together, and when they go on holiday with a nother couple to an exclusive and very expensive place, they book places with only two bedrooms because fuck the patriarchy. And because they love to be cosy, especially in the summer.

I think the reason why updatedphan posted it is because when we checked our seats (Day 1 ticket holders), it was really stated that it will be already held in Smart Araneta Coliseum so everyone assumed that the new venue will be there. It was only after few hours that Kia Theatre and Ticketnet (the ticket seller website) clarified that there was a mistake and it will still be held in Kia Theatre.

This is a mess and I'm not sure people tweeting out information before Dan and Phil do are doing a good job. Their official tour website only states the Kia Theatre, their tweets mentioned the same theatre, the venue tweeted/made a Facebook post to retaliate the issue.

Given the link provided is a ticketnet url the blame can't even be placed on Dan and Phil but that's what's likely gonna happen.

Did email get send out yet? I'm assuming they will but I sure hope they do it soon cause that's gonna be the only official information people need to trust.

I'm really sorry for the Manila peeps, they waited so long for this and were so excited and if it was me I'd feel more anxious than excited.
