I would like to raise a glass for those of us who've never been able to have a bath bomb, cause who even has a bath tub anymore? Not me I too want overpriced overscented bubbles and sparkles! Invite me Dan, I promise I keep my feet on my side of the tub
twotwelveam wrote: Thu May 10, 2018 9:05 pmIt definitely was still their style I think, but I felt like it was just more edited than most dapg videos? More frequent jumpcuts and face-zooms, etc etc. I'm not really averse to the idea of them getting an editor either, especially if they think it'll improve their videos and will make their lives a little easier, this video just stuck out to me a bit. Though the fact that they didn't credit anyone is a very good point, so maybe I'm wrong.
Regardless, I loved the video, so whether it was Dan, Phil, or someone else who edited it, well done lmao
One thing to remember is that the type of game they're playing allows for more editing. When they're playing a computer game, what they're saying has to match up to the game video, so they can't always edit out what they want if something interesting in the game is happening. Which a card game, they have much more freedom to edit out stuff they messed up, moments of silence etc.
This is definitely a good point! Also, most gaming videos have an underlying game soundtrack playing in the background and this one didn't, which I think is making some sound effects stand out a lot more to people and would make long silences be more obvious (and therefore more likely to be edited out).

If it makes you feel any better, they're not that great. (Don't all jump on me for my unpopular opinion!!) Sometimes, the color sticks to your body and the texture can also sometimes be oddly slimy? Also, glitter's fun until you're still finding it like... 10 showers later. Personally, I'm #TeamBubbleBath
That said, if Dan and Phil bath bomb shopping results in bath fics, sign me RIGHT UP!
Apparently a fan won a contest to get a message from them, and had them record this for their friend!
I think I'd grow to hate Dan if I had to wake up to that every morning, but it is objectively a fantastic alarm message.
tbh the thought of having a bath in a hotel is giving me hives especially as someone who used to be a hotel maid.......that being said them choosing bath bombs together is cute as hell
Ooh, throwback to Dan's incredible alarm speech. I hope Phil got more than those few words in, but hearing Dan say "tit-balls" again is brilliant.
I've only used a bath bomb once, still have one it came in a pair with, but I was so surprised by how it immediately fizzed and whizzed around. I'd expected to save half of it since it was so big, but as soon as it hit the water there was no stopping it. Fun things.
I'm too contrary. If my Dan-alarm every morning asked me if I was a wuss, I'd just go "yes, yes I am a wuss," roll over and go back to sleep. Fuck off Dan-alarm, you rude.
Why are bath bombs always so enticing? That display! I own like four right now and I don't even like using them, they're just so beautiful in the store.

Don’t feel bad lol not only has it been some 10 years since I’ve lived anywhere with a usable bathtub, but even if I could bathe I wouldn’t because bubbles and bath bombs and oils and whatever else are yeast central. Showers all the way!
I did quite like Dan’s lower register in the bathroom acoustics though.
Seeing as he is continuing this bath saga, I'm probably going to have the unpopular opinion here but I really don't want another bath selfie. I did not like the last one and I think it was mostly due to how weird a lot of people were about it and how there were SO many people trying to prove that Phil was in the bath with him and he was the one that took the pic. So I hope Dan is enjoying his bath but I really don't need to see any proof of it. Also I hope if he takes a pic of his legs in the bath that he checks all reflective surfaces.
Oh, bless him, yes, maybe it is a metaphor. So what does Dan need to do to reveal his inner colours? Fizz in the bath and see what happens? Good point about the acoustics' effect on his voice, he does sound different.

I'm not going to lie, I'm right there with you (though for different reasons). Given how Dan is these days I was dreading to think what the next instalment would be.
I was right to fear it. Horrfying. Nightmares forever.

I find this to be an interesting combination of scary and adorable. I did not know such a combination was possible.

Wow I really did not need that bath selfie either.
Welp, if I had any dreams of Dan in the bathtub, they’re truly dead (tbh I wasn’t expecting an in-bath photo so I didn’t have any dreams anyway). Those masks are horrible. It’s like if you finally got your teenage son to take a bath and he’s like “here I am, you happy now, mother?” just to have the last word and creep you out.
I feel like I should have put it under a jumpscare cut or something. He looks like a serial killer with that facemask/look on his face.
Though props to him posting it, I'd be way to self-conscious. He's a more confident person than I.

Alright, y’all. Tin hats securely on?
Dan’s latest IG angle screams “I’m avoiding the toes by my head.”
Conversely, I’m bored at work.
My bet is on people saying: "That angle screams that Phil took it! It was taken directly above him, which would be too difficult for him to do one handed over a body of water!!1!!! He'd totally drop the phone if he tried to take it himself!"
We should start a pool, or a bingo board and see which of us wins.

I feel like you just described half of Dan's interactions with his audience. "Giving the people what they want" should rightfully be followed up by "and making them rue the day they wanted it."
I’m creeped out both by the selfie and the sensual narration. I didn’t want any of this. But I am feeling guilt tripped into scrubbing my tub (that we only use for showers) so yay forced productivity?

Hehe, yeah, you might be right. At least ii is the good kind.
For all the tin hatters: honestly the thought of these two giants guys even just ~attempting to fit in a regular sized bathtub together sounds hilarious to me
Like, I'm only 5'2 and I have yet to find a bathtub in which I can sit comfortably without random bits of my body sticking out and freezing to death, so These Two??

My hat is basically glued to my head at this point. I shall go ahead and say "well, Phil loves baths as well and he hasn't posted about his. Coincidence? I think the fuck not
i never managed to fit in the tub with my ex and I am definitely half their size so if they manage I feel like they should share it just to teach us HOW
Will probably never be over the BONCAS and the beauty of Phil Lester.
