It made me laugh, and also Dan's bit, this fedora and Gatorland cap, omg, why they even buy things like those. And Dan's shirt was hella ugly, imho.

I really liked the video, thought he seemed chipper. For some reason I never expect much from Phil's vids, so I'm usually pleasantly surprised that I like them as much as I do.
The only thing kinda though, is that he'd think it was a burglar. Surely if he hears something in the middle of the night he should assume that it's Dan. except maybe if dan was right next to him

the new video i'm so happy to finally see a sit-down phil vlog, didn't realise how much i'd missed these

after all these years it still amazes me how many strange things happen to the guy though. he's just a magnet for ridiculous situations or he's making it all up
the roleplaying in bed made me giggle and i'm glad he actually gave us a run-down of each houseplant as it broke up the bedroomy format a bit (rip)

also so nice to see their flat again! i thought it was so cute how on the radiator and around the big houseplant there was deppy merch and the adorable photo of dan and the dog in the corner.
they're so bloody domestic it hurts.

Enjoyed the new video! Bit confused that Poe the cactus has apparently been rechristened as Loki (unless I'm just being an idiot?), but loved Phil's expression as Dan was surprising him with the fedora! I'm impressed if Dan really did keep that secret, but Phil's reaction(/not seeming sure how to react) seemed genuine enough to me? along with Dan's overloud awkward laugh to end the situation. The 4am bird story made me laugh, I can imagine it so clearly and the in bed fighting himself shot with bizarre thoughts are absolutely something I've done. Edit: I also expected him to think it was Dan, shezza, totally on board with the only reason he didn't being that Dan was next to him, good thought! (but seriously, surely that would be your first assumption without other proof?)

Also possible new addition to the house - not sure I've seen the 'memes' thing in shot in the lounge from 3:07 before? And the Brits board on the radiator, as sweetmm and ostril already mentioned, that's cute!

and i love that they have that framed picture of dan and his parents' dog in the living room

Wow, talk about a wild ride, I was from start to finish. His energy, expressions and enthusiasm are so off the wall sometimes they could be bottled. Very AmazingPhil, but by gods is he funny when he gets into his stride. I'm glad none of the plants are actually dead, even the ones that are yellow, sparse or wilting look recoverable. Better plant-waterer required in future.

Loved the bit with Dan so much. He looks fabbydabbydoodah (idk, this video just made my day) in that tshirt as well as the hat. Olive green suits him. Lightup fedora looks amazing on Phil, I don't care if it's meant to be a tacky joke, the style suits him.

from the very first second of the video and him missing his bed(and spreading his legs, arms and ass all over it ), the bird story, i especially loved his little song about soil on the bed, the dead plants and phil blaming Martyn

I loved this! It had the feeling of the good ol AP anecdote vids that I love but included a mini haul and then a guest appearance by that other guy. The night time reenactment was hilarious, I could only imagine Dan filming it while reading Phil's "thoughts" out loud so he could react to them

I laughed out loud at his "soil on the bed" song and "YOU WILL BURN SOON, MY SWEET"

GOD THOSE HATS ARE AWFUL, like even worse under the bright lights. Dan's shirt. God it's so horrendusly amazing. Sorry, I mean "swaggy."

Random and I guess semi off-topic but on their bookshelf is this cute framed pic of Dan and Colin, from that IG pic. I don't know if it's old but I'd never seen it before. Cute.

This vid was damn refreshing after a good 3 weeks of minimal content. Phil's editing is a bit zanier in this one, what with all the sound effects and cuts. It definitely gives a quicker energy, which I like!

Some thoughts:
-Interesting that Phil made British jokes about coming back home without a smidgeon of mention of Brexit. This guy is damn set on avoiding any sort of political talk.
-Dan dragging Phil into the same shitty "ironic" as him is great. The thing about Phil is that he doesn't wear anything ironically; the man bought a pancake shirt simply out of his love of pancakes. Also Dan's backwards hat + Gatorland shirt made him look like the kind of douchebags I went to high school with. Good shit.
-Ooh, got some sweet footage of them biceps. Is Phil also team shirtless-in-bed like Dan?

I loved the new vid. Just a fun lil catch up with Philly. Made me smile the whole way through. I loved the little soil on the bed song. And the mini haul. I liked Dan in it too. They just seem so happy it is ridiculous. I liked Dan's shirt contrary to popular opinion. It is supposed to be tacky and gross. Embrace it Dan! I love that color on him. He needs to wear more dark green. I love Phil in red too. And Phil's reaction to his hat. He looked up at Dan's when he said he got him one too. I LOVED this video Yeah. I think I may have even enjoyed it more than Dil's proposal. Further comments below the cut.

Before I get into anything else though...do these two live in a freakin' menagerie or something? I mean, moths landing on their mouths, dogs busting in whenever they please, and now birds chilling in their kitchen at 4 am and shitting at them through the window? I glad the little guy turned out to be OK though.

I love you Phil but I got to admit the first half of your video is meh. It could have helped if you recreated your kitchen experience. But after watching the video for the fifth time, it grew on me.

I'm so happy with the new video! I'm still smiling even if I watched it half an hour ago.
I know I complained a lot about the drought but just now I realized just how much I missed this

I loved every little bit of it, I missed his bedroom and their house.
He had a very good energy in it too, the editing is helping also.
Also, I'm curious about the emoji pillow 'blinking' that he answered in the tweet. I don't think I've seen that before

Recently Phil has had two rainbow related things on his channel, the first being on the thumbnail of the $5 Internet Experiment, and the second being the cycling rainbow subscribe button at the end of the newest video. It's kind of interesting and I just wanted to put this on the table if it ever turns out to be all part of a huge plan.

I was smiling through this whole video! I really loved it! I agree that Phil was high energy and seemed happy to be filming. Also loved the cameos from Dan because I'm phan trash. Y'know, it doesn't take much with me.

The little skit in bed between the two Phils, as cute as Phil looked, just seemed a little off to me idk a little off brand for AP anyone feel me? It's not really that I didn't enjoy it it just felt different somehow.

I think Phil really hadn't seen the hat because he seemed confused by what Dan was saying, I don't think they acted it out! I also loved when Dan zoomed in at Phil hehe.

I really liked the video!!! I was expecting to go in and hate it after I saw screenshots on twitter but it was cute and had me smiling. The bit where he's on his bed (and was shirtless ) under the covers was hilarious. There's not much to say besides that. He doesn't give us deep meaningful content, just lighthearted fun and he always delivers on that part. Do I want to see more variability in his content for 2016, fuck yeah, but for now ill just keep on smiling
