Totally agree with you here. When the first bour got announced I was part of the WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS crew, but when I saw tatinof for the first time I was blown away (& went on to see it a further 6 times oops). I loved the book too, they always put maximum effort into it and I appreciate that. I for one am excited to see this next book because I love pictures and photos and am hella nosey. At least this time they're not just dropping a video and keeping silent for 24 hours. Guess the phandom are more clued up than they were in 2014 as we found the web address yesterday, so it's not as much as a shock

I saw Dan tweet about some pages being filled with food. Haha it made me think of all the stuff I baked for tatinof, I'd laugh so hard if they featured any of them. I'll put them behind a spoiler in case you haven't seen them before Im looking forwards to the book coming out but I really don't like the cover!

That cover is just hideous but i love it somehow? idk it's very much like them i think

danisnotonphil firstly hi welcome to idb, but i have to ask why on earth did you register if you had been lurking and knew how idb rolled, codependency jokes, respectfully stalking and everything else, and you didn't like it? it just seems like a waste of both your time and ours

re: book that cover is ugly as heck, it's not even the collage idea that is bad, it's the execution, the small & and go personally offended me, and the lack of structure, like the o in go bring an emoji did too, if it was a collage like the first pages of tabinof but in the shape of the letters (i can even imagine it being a full collage and the white part being the dust jacket with the words cut out) and the go and & didn't look so out of place i think it could look good and on brand

and about the book itself i don't really have an opinion, wasn't gonna buy it originally, still not gonna buy it now that I know what it is

i kind of wish they would have worked out a special one book deal instead of two like every other youtuber, i'm down for seeing deppy trying to sell me stuff (and failing lmao) but in this case this book seems so unnecessary? the documentaries really sound like something any fan could enjoy, but this book from hell should be titled 'all the pictures we should have tweeted to keep fans in the knowing while we were on tour but we didn't because money', and like businessmen deppy is one of my favorite deppys but i like it more when they are selling something good

I was honestly hoping for IDB to ＥＮＨＡＮＣＥ on all the small details in the cover, but all I see is people complaining about how ugly it is instead. Can't win 'em all, I guess. I personally like it, but the P and the G touching corners is making me break out in hives.

About the book, is strangely enough just what i needed, because a) they're never bringing tatinof to my country, b) internet here is awful, even if i got the YT Red free trial i couldn't watch the show/documentary, c) same if i buy it from regular yt, with this internet connection i don't dare pay for smth i might not be able to stream/download, and d) because of the YTR release, there won't be a dvd of tatinof. This book seems like the only physical release of Tatinof, wich i won't have access to in any other way at this point. Plus if they hoarded all those pictures for months i def wanna see them. And of course i'm happy to support them however/whenever i can, so i don't mind.

My thoughts from the Live Show:
-34k viewers... I'm not sure if that's a new record, but it's definitely more than usual. Are most of them from tumblr?
-Dan is such a fidget and it makes me laugh he's like "I need to stop with this" (pen)
-"I would (paint my nails) but I would have to stop biting them" I CALLED IT I KNEW HE BITES HIS NAILS but that also seemed like an excuse

Well, it was an alright liveshow. I love that he threw shade at other youtubers though.

I can't remember when but I think around the 10-11 minute mark he stated that although they likely wouldn't do book signings for DAPGO as it's not a book, there would be something else they would do to involve the audience....any ideas?
