i wasn't exactly exited to see it was just them taking a quiz, but phil saved this video, he was in a great mood that made the video easy and uplifting to follow.

Hmm. I didn't realize there was a part 2 until I saw all the edits on Tumblr (which I thought perhaps were based on something I missed from the first one) then I got the Tumblr notification for AmazingPhil. Thanks YouTube app for completely failing me. I was lost on here reading threads from a year ago, while watching old liveshows that sometimes coordinated. Oops.

Sigh. My opinion has definitely been affected by the politics. There's no doubt that I didn't enjoy these two as much as the first unbiased watch. That said, really nothing great content wise. I like Phil's demeanor a bit better on her channel. Though his persona was only strong at the beginning of his, he was still more relaxed when he wasn't "hosting"/in control.

I'm having a hard time deciding which of those answers describes Dan best. They all kinda fit, but I'm going to trust Phil/assume that I don't know Daniel Howell at all.

I wasn't familiar with the ships mentioned. The last one was broad, are there gay ships in Free? (Stupid question, of course there are). I found it interesting that Shawna took pride in getting Dan to laugh. Not sure about the sat on the floor business and I'm not rewatching. (Everybody lies, not just boys)

I think the fact that her channel is gonna grow and she's gonna profit off of this is the most annoying thing. People are just gonna subscribe to her and watch her and give her views without knowing her views. [offtopic]So I was casually re-watching one of Dan's liveshows (August 3rd 2016) and whilst I was hesitant to believe that George thing (I honestly thought it was just coincidence that there was a George in the chat again) at 8:32 in the livestream Dan goes "Someone said... George, said 'How much writing is there'" I honestly can't. Does Dan just randomly use the name to substitute when he can't find the persons name, or does he use it so he can bring up topics himself?

Dislike. Really poor content and preparations - two tabs open, why does that deserve praise? Still, Phil gave me a giggle or two, so nothing has changed.

It kind of irks me to see Phil smiling very freely between each other, he's a very bubbly person. Collabs go to show how what he is really like IRL and how heavily moderated his behaviour is around Dan. I'm not complaining, he's made HUGE progress in the last year, he used to eye ball the camera and barely look at Dan for the majority of the time. I like the comfort he is showing, but I get irked by him being overwhelmingly bubbly for someone he only knows off the internet. It's just a snap back for me to how far they've progressed, and probably still to go, to an extent. That's just my opinion.

I liked Phil in the vids and loved that he mentioned he looks like Haru. And the pikachu made me laugh a lot. Also Phil seemed a bit flustered when the quiz asked to describe the best friend, it was kind of cute.

I did notice there's a weird jump cut after he talks about free so that just left me thinking that she cut something more bold that Phil might have said about it. And I decided that I can't stand her so probably I won't rewatch the vids.

I do love that Phil's pinned tweet is still the collab with Dan.

I skip-watched the vid on Shawna's channel. It was exceedingly boring. I watched the vid on Phil's channel...also rather boring.

Maybe it's the subject matter, but even though Phil was quite happy and comfortable (which I enjoy), I couldn't get into the videos at all. Not one I'll rewatch, for sure.

The filming angle is slightly too low as well, which made for a rather unflattering angle for both of them and gave me an uneasy feeling--it's like they're looking down on me. That's just my anxious reaction though, nothing to do with their behaviour haha

It felt as though she was trying to brag to the viewers on Phil's channel that she was really tight with both of them (so they should think she's cool and go subscribe to her channel, obviously!!!).

I don't know, I know when you don't like someone everything about them annoys you, but something about that rubbed me the wrong way. It didn't feel genuine at all.

Overall, wasn't a huge fan of the video. Short and to the point I guess, nothing special.

I found it quite strange too. Why would it be so hard for her to make Dan laugh? It's not like he's grumpy and never laughs at anything. Interesting.

I felt exactly the same way. (I was slightly surprised that Phil didn't edit that bit out.)

Yeah, especially because of Phil's kind of weirded-out, laugh-it-off reaction.

That comment did seem odd, similar to her replies to youtube comments implying that Dan might have been there during filming. It does feel like she's trying to make it seem as if she's closer to Dan than she really is.

I found her whole demeanour a bit abrasive in both of the videos, but I don't know if I'm finding her annoying because I now know her views on marriage equality or if she really is annoying.

She's probably just trying to keep the phan shippers calm by showing she is friends with both of them (which she is) and implying she wasn't alone with phil. And Phil left that in for the same reason.

i havent seen either of the collabs on phil's or the other girls channel but that's because like..her views have severely affected me wanting to watch them sadly. i wish they didn't, but i take her views very personally.

also i might watch dan's liveshow from tuesday later, not sure yet though..

I didn't watch the video on Nanalew's channel, but I did watch Phil's video.
And I liked it. Not my favourite, by any means, but it did make me smile, particularly when he got his quiz result. I usually find it interesting to see deppy collab with other youtubers, even when it's awkward, just because it's a change of pace, and aside from a few moments that've already been discuss I thought it was nice that Phil seemed laid back around her.
I actually like Shawna's personality (from what I've seen) it's a real shame that she believes the way she does. I don't blame anyone for not liking her or not wanting to watch.

Pretty much, yeah. Though his shit-post ratio has been rather high the last few rounds. Usually it's like 70% meme-y lolzor random shit-posts; 10% nature/architect aesthetic; 10% feel-good cuddly/cute; 5% angsty/edgy; 5% pretty/gay

He needs to throw in a Dane DeHaan or young Leo once in a while to bring things back in balance.

I noticed that too and was wondering the same. I've been keeping an eye out for it as was interested to see whether their landlord had refurbished it before re-letting (which he hasn't, substantially). The piano is still there!

Tbh I personally wouldn't see why it should be discussed here. For the sake of the poor landlord, the less it's spread in the phandom, the better. I don't wanna know how many people pretend interest to get a showing, only to whisper "Omg they lived here.. wow look it's the green acrylic paint that they splattered on the floor". Idk, it creeps me out a bit to think that people will likely do that

That's why I haven't posted a link. The idea of fans, quite possibly with their parents posing as potential renters, creeping around touching stuff is very weird. It may be that the agents are aware of the potential for this and will be looking out for 'suspicious' viewers!

Something else that comes to mind is the person who moves in will probably not want to have their apartment building be a pilgrimage site for phannies. So, yeah, the less it's spread, the better, I stick with that.
Besides, I don't see what actual benefits would come from discussing it.

That's a very good point that I hadn't considered. I thought it would be interesting for a quick discussion (after all, it's been a big feature of their videos for 5 years) and then be replaced by something else but I'm not of the same mindset as some of these fans. I often forget that this is a public forum and that there are lots of lurkers

the photos on the listing are old, from before dan and phil lived there, so i'm guessing the landlord didn't fix it up much lol. but anyway i agree there's no need to discuss it. i already feel bad for the person who lives there next and has to deal with 12 year olds showing up randomly.

i didn't watch phil's video. just can't stomach shawna. but i'm not interested in anime anyway so no big loss i guess. phil's eyes look so pretty though.

I watched the video because it was on Phil's channel and I really liked him in the video. But Shawna definitely made it less enjoyable. It would have been a very pleasant video if he did it alone or with someone else. Not groundbreaking, but nice. I realised that while I can hang out with people with views that contradict mine, I can't ignore the views of a person when I watch them online. Every time I was smiling or laughing and then Shawna said something, I got annoyed. And it's not like the only things she said were stupid. I hope they don't collab again.
