They can't seat where they were supposed to as it was too open to the public so they missed a few early songs as they need to be escorted elsewhere. They were then seated near the 1D family which made the crowd further notice they were there. I can't remember whether they had trouble leaving due to the fans (saw too many gleamers vlogs at that time and I can't be sure whether this is the concert the gleam team had difficulty leaving the venue).

From the vlogs I've seen, they were escorted in and out the venue. They left when the stadium was almost empty. It was funny because the fans seated near them cannot decided whether to watch 1D or them.
I'm pretty sure Phil did mention in one of his ls that he wouldn't watch a 1D concert. Unfortunately for Phil, Dan doesn't seem to have any other friend who can accompany him to Kanye's concert. Their tour for almost a year definitely alienated them. If they were still in Radio1, Dan can possibly go with some of the DJs.

BTW, how did the Radio 1's Teen Awards go? Will they be part of the show? Will they win? (If they were fired by R1, I hope they win.) So many things to watch out this October.

Is it just me or is Dan's tumblr queue kinda angsty (and edgy?! getting some Hitler in there)

Also I haven't watched either of the trailers either. I'm not sure how i feel about the concept of TATINOF overall. Basically I care about their youtube channels only.
And then the bts I haven't watched b/c it sounds cheesy with teen movie music in the background and whatever else .

[offtopic]not sure if this has been talked about before, but have d&p ever talked about getting tattoos? and also, if they were to get any, what do you think would suit them? sorry, massively off topic, just wondering in general (i have 4, and was looking at some and was curious if they'd thought about it/what they'd look like, not counting the punk edit video but i did enjoy that )[/offtopic]

It's so much stuff going on I'm stressed I'll forget something important.

I'm even thinking about making a calendar for deppy stuff just so I won't miss anything but I'm too lazy for it I'll rely here on idb for news I've forgotten to check.

I know way back Dan mentioned really liking/thinking about getting those angle-wing back tattoos, but I feel like he later said he would never get them

. I know in a vyou Dan also said he liked them on other people but I don't remember what he said about himself (I'll try and find the vyou later). Not sure if Phil's ever mentioned them though.

Yeah I remember him talking about how he likes how those angel wings look but something about how he wouldn't get them for himself...not sure why. I guess they just aren't tattoo people or haven't thought about a design they really want yet.

Dan getting the wings would make me happy, and for this reason and this reason only: you need to slather Aquafor all over your tattoo a few times a day after you get it while it's healing, so of course, Phil would be rubbing Aquafor all over Dan's back for a little while.

Yeah that 'all your questions answered' was boring. I'm kinda over Dan doing all the sensible talking with Phil throwing in a very weird/funny one liner which Dan just then gives him a look for. I hope they drop that soon it's kinda annoying.

Also Phil says that they only filmed the show once? Well that's not true seeing as they filmed the London shows and both the Hollywood ones. No idea why they want to seem to pretend they didn't film London.

I think it's great that they posted information because when I looked in the comments under the trailers, a lot of people were pretty confused. Yes, it wasn't very new for most of us, but it's still smart that they actually tell people how to buy it

I hope they don't just upload all of the little stuff they've planned on Dan's channel. But I could imagine that tomorrow Phil will upload something and they just take it in turns. Even though I'm not sure if all of it actually will be on their channels, I expected them to share some actual clips but on twitter when Dan mentioned the "gifts". An interview thingy on YouTube wasn't what I expected at all.

Maybe that was for the documentary? I could imagine that they actually filmed one show for the movie and clips from several shows for the documentary. It doesn't make sense that they would lie, especially because it'll be obvious when we see the show and it suddenly shows different theaters.

Looks like we're pretty much going to get the same type of video tomorrow as well. I mean I didn't think it would be actual bonus stuff anyways it's just basic promotion they have to do for it.

Was it "gifts" he said? Lol I thought he said gifs. Oh well. I somehow forgot that he mentioned going to the YT space to film some promo stuff. So maybe YT had to approve their video after all since it has YT Red in the thumbnail.

I agree that it was pretty boring, and it didn't answer any important questions. Yes it helped more casual fans who were more out of the loop about how to buy it without YTR, but being on IDB has made me realize there are a lot more questions than that. People are asking if paypal will work, if they can buy to own even with YTR in their country, someone mentioned that google play wasn't in their country and they weren't even sure if they could buy it at all, I'd like to know if there are any fees or if it's just a fixed price, they didn't mention that you need a credit card to get a free trial of YTR, so I can imagine a lot of people under 18 going to sign up 30 seconds after it's dropped on YT only to run down the stairs begging their parents for their credit card.

In other words, I feel like they didn't really answer many questions, but this was probably filmed way in advance so they wouldn't have known how confusing it really is, haha.

Ah yes, the contractually obligated "gifts" full of half truths. I almost went into advertising and this is why I didn't. As several people have pointed out to me, at least they are honest about this stuff in their live shows/twitter. That's where they say "youtube offered to pay for the things we wanted to do, so we have to scratch their back and do spon videos"

If you look closely and are familiar with theater layouts you can tell there are two different theaters in the tatinof trailer, the dolby and the palladium. The palladium footage is much lower quality. I was at the daytime show for the dolby, and they definitely have at least 4 cameras I saw (Balcony-one swinging arm on the left, one news camera type on the right, and a stationary center, and floor level - one handheld underchin closeups right in front of the people who paid for vip lol. there could have been others I couldn't see.) - any info on the night show?

It would be good for them to answer questions about ytr more so than talk about what tatinof/documentary is about - we already know. I think they should make it clear that if you do have ytr then as soon as your subscription finishes then you won't be able to watch it again. I'm pretty grateful we don't have ytr here in England as yet because I don't want to have to pay a monthly subscription to be able to watch it. This is why it is a shame they didn't put out a physical copy, that way you pay a one off and can watch it as many times as you like, ytr just seems wrong in my opinion as its forcing you to continue your subscription.

That answers the question for me. They had deemed the London footage unusable because they set their standards higher and decided to shoot it in better quality. so they had once chance to get the show in that good quality. I guess they technically could use the lower quality footage but they probably didn't really consider that option.

It answers why they filmed twice but doesn't explain why they said they filmed it once. That's not true as it was filmed elsewhere. From the clips in the tatinof trailer (not the doc one) you can see there are both venues used as they look totally different.
