i think the talk of felix ties into that a lot, because while he has a huge audience, the fandom around him isn't nearly as big chunk of the number as dan and phil's is. he does too much stuff, the audience is too large & it's hard to feel connected to him, which is also why he's been doing a lot of interactive stuff with the fans lately - and i think that might be a part of the reason he includes d&p in his videos a lot. i also think he likes them & wants to expose them to his big audience, so it can be mutually beneficial.

I don't have that many thoughts except I consistently marvel at how self-aware he is. It must get tiring to always be analyzing yourself and your social interactions and your creative output. I don't know why he views danisnotonfire as this precious, holy thing that he's afraid of sullying by soppiness or trashy/fun content. I wish he would get over that. It's interesting how he feels such a need to justify himself. All the time. Everything he tweets, everything he does...if it's in any way out of character or received any attention in the phandom, he'll talk about it in a liveshow and explain himself / give excuses.
