The bit about Phil in the bed: I also got the feeling that that's a bit different from usual but I liked it. idk, I got a lot of feelings. also I ate a lot of chocolate so maybe I'm too hyper, too. ignore me.

When I saw Dan, I closed the video because I thought he will promote the tour. Thank goodness he did not. I don't want to hear any tour news any time soon. But I guess they don't need to promote it because it's already sold out. I think Dan was hinting in his ls that they'll add a show date.

They really don't know how to space out their content. It's either they really miss filming videos or they're doing damage control. They should upload more content to attract those who lost interest on them.

I thought so too. That part reminded me of a DINOF video more than an AP video. Phil normally plays other weird people instead of himself, where Dan a lot of the time will play himself in situations. Maybe Dan has rubbed off on Phil a little more than we think. (and yes that can be taken as a double entendre, your welcome.

(hullo friends dropping in here after a hiatus of like 17 years) That video was so sweet! I wish we could have content like that, but like every week or something. I mean, as others have said it's not really that meaningful so I feel like it would be nice to get more content to compensate for that. But oh well!

what a dull insipid video. Even for Phil's recent anecdotes video this is a new low. That pigeon story and plant's review was even duller than that horrible video about dolls watching him sleep.

His forced fake cheerfulness and those things he says every videos like a joke about the queen, showing he is cute-clumpsy, joking about Canadian accent or the "sorry I got a bit too excited"... are getting on my nerves.
The only moment he appeared actually sincere were when he was hugging his plant in the corridor and when he watched Dan proudly showing his cap for the 100th time.

Eh, yeah, I see where you're coming from.

I mean, personally I thought it was a sweet video BUT it's not that great considering we get a new video once every two to four weeks. If this content was being rolled out much more regularly, then I feel like that would be a different story. Or if videos were much longer.

Recently, I've been focusing a lot on their personas, which makes me not enjoy their videos at much.

I want to stop doing that so bad. But when Dan came in it made me all fuzzy in the way they acted with each other. They haven't changed their personas that much, but they as people have changed.

not a huge fan of the video. updates on his crusty plants and poking a bird is just not video worthy in my opinion... i mean he shared the hilarious backpack story on a live stream then decided THIS was what he's going to make a video about? loved dan giving phil the fedora though, the hat is ridiculous (though i'm lowkey disappointed it wasn't a matching jat.)

i'd love a pokemon go video on the dapg channel soo much oh my god. it'd probably end up being my favourite video they've done.

i need more america stories now they're back, i'd love to see a long video of d+p both sharing a bunch of the smaller ones on dans second channel and just general things they did while in america. i assume they're saving the bigger/more interesting ones for the main channel or st or maybe they're included on the yt red thing, dunno.

Same here. I don't know if I'm just being influenced by people's observations that he's been acting more DINOFian lately with hs mannerisms and some jokes he makes. Though I tend to believe that casually, he and Dan probably behave similarly(as you'd expect from any pair of people who spend as much time together as they do).

It's gonna be fucking hilarious when everyone gets their wish for persona-free dinof and AP videos and it actually turns out they are the same damn person re: personality.

If this was an experiment in that direction then I applaud it. While I appreciate them for the gems they currently are, I welcome the oncoming fusion.

I feel like such a pervert but my brain frizzed a bit when Phil was doing the "missed my bed" part and his shirt rode up a lil bit. Couldn't stop staring at the exposed skin. And of course the shoulders poking out at the "DINOF-like skit". (I dunno if I'm or just a pervert.

Yes, I definitely saw some DINOF influences in that video; in particular, the bed skit and the "thumbs up fake mug at the camera" after the bird anecdote. Phil has def been acting more Dan-like, and Dan has def been acting more Phil-like. I tend to like the idea that they are actually exactly the same irl

Phil's 'skit' didn't feel that DINOF-like to me tbh He's done it before. I know in his old sleepwalking video there was a bit where he walks into Dan's room with a knife in his hand. There are probably other examples too.

The new video was ok. It kinda felt weird in some parts and a bit forced, but in general was ok. Maybe Phil just needs more time to get back to filming videos or idk, but this one didn't excite me much. I really liked the parts where he was under his sheets, the plants update and the souvenir haul. It was cute but eh... (or maybe it's just me who is too tired at the moment to make the best out of it, who knows)
I give it a 7 out of 10.

And I found Dan's tweets about the bird shitting on them hilarious omg, 10 out of 10 for that bird. Good job, little guy

When I first watch it, I don't think I like the video that much because it fail to uplift my mood like the usual Phil video, and it's 4am so I went back to sleep.

In the morning, I browse through IDB and am shocked and confused with the review of the vid, so I rewatch it again. And I like it this second time but it's still not up to par with Phil usual vid.

Video highlights:
-I hate that the plant that die is my fav houseplant of theirs, so disappointed with Philly.

-I actually like Dan's tee, it looks kinda cool. Lol
-Agree with lots of you that Phil sleeping without his top is DINOF-y
-What in the world is that fedora. I like that it's is lit up but I hate fedora in general, so that's a no from me.

Overall, cute little video with 7 second of black frame at the end. What is that.
