Cute video but not one that I will rewatch I think. The game wasn't that interesting and as they said there were hardly any bants and it was over quickly.
I'm rewatching their old Sims videos and I'm surprised at how much entertainment they can create for people watching two random guys playing Sims 4. It's quite a feat! And they also made so many innuendos that sometimes they didn't even react to - "don't have to say pow everytime I apply wood/hobby corner - to do things with myself" etc. I laughed out loud a few times and it was just listening and barely watching the screen.
Does anyone know why they abandoned Shelter so completely? If Dan played it with Phil maybe it would get more views but I guess the time for that is over. Hope they discover a new good series for them to play though! (That isn't My Horse Prince or this bean game 2)

I don't know about shelter but tbh I think the impatient response to Undertale (granted, their fault for making it take so long) and lackluster response to My Horse Prince might put them off series. They tried it now twice and twice they've gotten more shit than praise for it, so if I were them I would be taking the hint that people just don't like them doing series gameplay.flurry wrote:Does anyone know why they abandoned Shelter so completely? (Which is not true, of course, but Dan and Phil don't want to play the games people want them to play and people don't seem inclined on accepting a middle ground.)

Maybe gaming videos don't do so well with just one of them on their own? Which would be a shame cos it's lovely to see them alone playing something they're really into. Dan squeeing over Pokemon was the sweetest video.
Edit: okay, I went and looked. The only other video of that age to do similarly in viewcount as Shelter was Dragon Land. The later app games like that also haven't done so well, though they're a bit later so you could say give them time, but they're still quite a while ago. The last few Undertale videos also didn't do too well, people must have given up on it by then. Tbh as much as I love Phil, Shelter wasn't my favourite game. Dan's solo videos all did pretty well, but then two were Pokemon and Pokemon Go, the other Outlast. Judging from the Pokemon Go videos in general, that's popular, though not all their horror games have done so well. Sonic2.exe especially, but that is a daft little game.

Another cute one:
that banana thing is the most terrifying shit I've ever seen. Nope.
That Little Red Riding Hood is the greatest shit I've ever seen. Gimme moooar.
The video: just a little bit boring? apart from Dan getting genuinely concerned at the start of the lens incident. Dan being cute while getting genuinely concerned may be my kink. Second only to the Red Riding Hood Phil, apparently.

The guy is @boeshoe37 on twitter, Dan and Phil both follow him. So do some other old school youtubers (Jimmy, Chris, Tyler Oakley...) and his bio says youtuber so I'm guessing old friend? Maybe just youtube peer?

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!fancy_nancy wrote:Phil liked this on insta, idk who that is but aww cute
I love that Phil liked this publicly. I love that Phil knows he liked this publicly and is doing it anyway. I love the fluffy ideas this is putting in my head and the ideas it might be putting into Dan's head.
IDK why this is having such a strong effect on me or why I'm reading so deep into it when I very well know I shouldn't, but.... wooooo boy.

Yes I love this and had similiar thoughts but I seriously hope people don't try to read into him liking this and label it phan proof or some bullcrap... I just want to appreciate the sheer adorableness in the photorizzo wrote:I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!fancy_nancy wrote:Phil liked this on insta, idk who that is but aww cute

I feel like it's another sign that Phil has undergone some really impressive character growth in the past year. (Really, in the past five months, but I'll be generous and assume it was a process working up to that.)SexyTrashCan wrote:Yes I love this and had similiar thoughts but I seriously hope people don't try to read into him liking this and label it phan proof or some bullcrap... It just makes me really happy that he will like things that at blatantly lgbtq and romantic and not care if people do read into it, given that he knows he has an audience that will. He knows that - and he's doing it anyway.

same! :')malday wrote:With this and that red riding hood picture, Phil really brightened up my day today :')fancy_nancy wrote:Phil liked this on insta, idk who that is but aww cute
(although my initial reaction to red riding hood was to seriously consider the possibility of phil currently filming philippa 2.0. i didn't know it was an app and spontaneously it seemed the most likely explanation to me (?), so for the few seconds it took me to scroll down the thread and see the other photos, i was confused, yet 100% ready for phil's wild 2017 ride)
thank's you were great

I love how, out of all the filters, he chose that one to share with the world. I sincerely hope he's buttering us up for a new video in which he crossdresses. My body is ready.

Phil is killing it lately - black shirt + glasses? Little red riding hood filter? Liking that photo? Be still my beating heart Dan, you lucky fucker, how do you survive Phil in glasses - my jealousy is REAL. Half of me wants a cross-dressing video, the other half fears the return of Philippa, either way I'm loving this new development.
Edit: when u go to instagram to check if it's real and ITS REAL! But then you get worried that the phandom will flood the comments with "OMG phil liKED 1!!!1!" AND THEY HAVEN'T ! what a surprising lack of disappointment, I can't get used to this life.
Philippa 2.0 will be the April Fools video this year, and he's done this to foreshadow her returnthephandommenace wrote:I sincerely hope he's buttering us up for a new video in which he crossdresses. My body is ready.

I think people naturally become concerned about people they know / know of who live in the area where these despicable acts are committed. It's part of the connection we feel for acquaintances. Instead of criticizing ourselves, we should be denouncing the violent and haters that lurk among us.momoroki wrote:I'm sorry, but what? I know this is from yesterday, but I just caught up and... I can't. I know I'm feeling quite bitter and disillusioned with everything today and I know posting this is not the best idea, but I just feel so angry about this. It's perfectly fine and reasonable to worry about your faves, and this is a forum about Dan and Phil, but actual people died in this attack, and many more have been gravely injured. I think there's a certain level of respect that needs to be taken into account while talking about these kind of events but when you turn it into an opportunity to talk about how ~trash~ you are I'm really not seeing it. I'm sorry if this feels like a direct attack and I'm probably going to regret posting this, but please try to be more careful about how you phrase things in the future.Skylar wrote:literally i heard about that attack in london and the first thing i thought of was deppy? i'm trash i was in a chinese food buffet when it came on tv, so when i saw it i turned to my mom and said "i hope my babies are ok" (dan and phil) and she was like oh, dan and phil? and i was like yeah, and she smiled and rolled her eyes.
Look, I get being concerned. As I mentioned earlier, it's understandable to worry about your faves if they live in a city that was just targeted by a terrorist attack. I'm sure I would have been quite worried about Deppy if the first thing I saw about the attack wasn't Phil saying he was okay... ironically. But there's a palpable difference between saying "I'm glad they're okay" and "i'm such trash! The first thing I thought about was Dan and Phil! My babies!". Skylar , I know you apologised already, and I'm sure you didn't have bad intentions. However I just can't rescind my original statement, I think talking about this situation demands respect to the people affected. Of course we should condemn the hatred and violence that led to this in the first place - the people who actually took part in this are disgusting, and I send my prayers to the families who have lost loved ones. But again, the tone of the original post just rubs me the wrong way - no matter how genuinely bad they felt.uglyamerican wrote:I think people naturally become concerned about people they know / know of who live in the area where these despicable acts are committed. i understand. i genuinely feel bad about what i said and how i worded it. i will try my best to think about what i type before i post it and think more carefully. i sincerely apologize. this bad feeling now has been sitting in my stomach all day after i saw your comment because i truly feel bad... i'm really sorry. honestly. i truly apologize. i hope we can move past this.. i will try my best to word my posts better in the future, and think about what i'm typing before i post it.momoroki wrote:Look, I get being concerned.
